What EQ setting are you using on the 320? reason im asking is i purchased a 120 first and it sound phenomenal, clarity is superb. So i was going to get a second 120, but decided to go for a 320 for a bit of extra overhead. Same settings, same volume level, same room same songs and the clarity just isn't there. just sounds muddy and boomey. and this is at less than 50% volume.
for me I instantly noticed sound difference. so much more clairty in midrange and overall delivery. Bass is punchier for 310 but anything else is just better in 320. however, my ears have always been rather sensitive compared to general public
Great review and song. I’ve got the 710 and just wanting another with more portability but was fearing 120 not being adequate. Sounds to me now like it will offer better fuller sound at lower volume and much easier portability so is the G O thanks for ur comparison and remarks between the two 🤙🏻
I agree. Mids and treble are important, but as quiet as possible. Bass EQ to maximum and mids and treble to minimum. I like sound quality too, but bass and sound quality at the same time. Devialet Phantom speakers!!!!! 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
When you connect the 120 and 320 together with Aura cast, can you use the volume rocker on your phone to control both speakers volume at once or do you have to control the volumes separately like you do when connecting the 310 and the 110?
If you don’t care too much for bass then a soundbar may actually be a better option for you. As they can be easier to sync to a TV and look a bit more presentable. I’m hoping to get into reviewing some soundbars in the future. If you’re set on a PartyBox type speaker, the best is probably an offering from Sony. Lots of their party speakers even have an optical input with a “TV mode”. Anything in the newer XV range or the new ULT 😁

@pixelreflectorpro it makes no sense such small tweeters the reason it sounds like you say it must be more power rms the 320 sounds much better but I bet if it had big tweeters. For example the ultimate haves over 2.75 Inch tweeters I guarantee you if it had 1 inch tweeters it could not sound as good as it does so bigger tweeters are needed for more power like in the 320 the 120 could have 1 inch tweeters but the 320 needs bigger tweeters it's just sound science
@JaguarJuanDavid bigger tweeters would just make the 320 worse the 310 has bigger tweeters than the 320 but both are rated for 240w, also bigger tweeters don't mean more power.
Huge miss by JBL to use a smaller battery in the 120. So tired of corporates greedy decisions that just harm consumers ability to use the product better.
