You need to Clean the Window in the kitchen 😂 I love ❤️ your channel I just want to get my wife over here how long did it take you to get over here and did you have to file for you visa or did bill have to file for you we already got married on line. And we are working on One Year married
@@RuossFamilyAdventures We considered online marriage at one point but opted for a different route once the Philippines re-opened. There was a huge backlog of petitions due to the COVID-19 restrictions. I'm not a lawyer so this is not legal advice. I always tell people to do their own due diligence🙂 My research indicates that USINS will recognize an online marriage as long as the marriage is recognized as legally valid in the jurisdiction where it occurred. The couple would also have to show that the marriage has been "consummated", meaning proof that you'd met in person. I'm assuming that is the case for y'all. For a recognized marriage you would file an I-130, a petition for an alien relative. If for some reason you've not met then I'm not sure what to tell you. What we did would be different than what you would do since we decided to get married in the US. I filed an I-129F petition for a Fiancee visa. These are two different routes that have different processing times and different fees. There are pros and cons for each. If you have the money paying a lawyer is easiest. Whether or not it's necessary depends on the individual. I wasn't that worried, but just for a little peace of mind I compromised and worked with a consultant for a lot less money. That meant I did most of the work but had someone I could verify things with. I will say they provided a pretty good set of guidelines for the forms that were a lot more user-friendly than the directions the US government provides🙂 Everything ended up going through without a hitch. Last time I checked the processing time for K1 was half what it was when we filed so they are starting to clear the backlog. Whatever you decide the sooner you file the sooner she'll be able to come. The wait will be many months no matter what happens. Good luck!
