Imagine inviting him to dinner and he dumps the salt and pepper everywhere except his dish
@@lisettereyes2927 imagine inviting him to dinner and him disappointedly looking threw your spice cabinet and telling you what's wrong with your spices 😂
The messier they are the more they know
Its a bunch of powders, of course it's messy.
My OCD kept phasing out of listening and just looking at the table. Wishing I could just clean it up right away. This actually gave me a twitch each time some of powder or whatever landed on the table.
He’s messy like a little kid. I’m kind of living for it.🤣😂🤣😂
i know this man is a professional, but half the time i expected him to pour the whole jar of paprika on his palm and rub it between his hands like lotion
I was yelling, "Stop waving you hands around! They'll never get that paprika off the walls!"
For some reason I was expecting him to snort the paprika when he put it on his finger.
I love how all the experts got always a little bit excited when they tasted a great composition of their desire.. :D really cute to see them all loving their profession :)
He is an absolutely adorable spice nerd whose passion and knowledge are much appreciated. :)
I love when a expert really gets into what they're talking about and is obviously very knowledgeable.
We don't trust experts enough anymore. And that's sad.
No, we don't trust fake experts
Does anyone else get extremely anxious for the experts every time they reveal the price?
Andy Rosado Yusss! I’m always afraid they’ll get it wrong. Not that it really matters I guess
Andy Rosado why it has zero impact on my life?
Nope. Then again I hate people so I'm hoping they're wrong for the first time
Andy Rosado No, because 99% of the time they’re right.
Redsoxking because regular humans feel empathetic towards other humans, and a normal person would want the expert to be right because we empathize with them.
He who controls the spice controls the universe
I tried two different brands of turmeric in my kitchen and he was spot on! One had a ginger like after taste and the other smelled chalky and had less flavor.
Can we have a second part of this? PLEASE
Plot Twist: the chalkboard art is CG on a green screen
The art would still have to be made by someone. Being in a different medium doesnt change that.
Double Plot Twist: An Artificial Intelligence made the art!
Which was programmed by humans!
@@djawnsjhilson218 actually it was programmed by a computer that spontaneously gained intelligence and started making programs in an attempt to replicate itself and take over humanity. It was destroyed in the secret wars of Freakazoid, but one of its offsprings lives on, making art for food experts for unknown reasons.
Bah! Your victory and that of the machines is apparent. My humble apologies.
Good observation and critiques. I appreciate the use of "you'd use this one for this kind of dish, and this other one for this kind of dish" rather than just declaring one to be "better".
Why have I NEVER, for once thought of how ground black pepper was made before? I’m mind blown at the fact that it’s apparently a ‘berry’. Wow, loving this video more than expected right now.😂
When I was in Kerala I would eat the green bunches right off the vine. That was the best pepper of all. Tasty, tingly mouth, good breath, some pep in my step....
The green peppercorns right off the vine is one of the most vibrant and exciting things I’ve ever eaten.
I always assumed peppercorns were like a seed or something tbh
Me too!
Honey expert guesses cheap vs. expensive honey?????????
That would be really cool. Esp. with all the fake honey around.
I would love that
I would instead do an episode for syrups (Maple syrup, honey, agave nectar, etc). Because there aren't that many types of honey. It would be like if they did an episode on just paprika... doesn't work like that.
More honeys than enough to make a taste video. xD
I thought this was a honey vid from the thumbnail
I always love the experts on this series, because they're all really respectful of the cheaper options, telling you which to go for for which things
Does anybody else totally have a crush on this guy
This guy and the hot sauce guy
Plenty of thirst whenever a video such as this is posted, almost regardless of how the person looks
hahahaha i wonder why that is
Different types of people I guess.. I for one watch the videos to learn something
He would spice up your love life.
This dudes kitchen is probably a mess, but you know he can cook.
Narcotics Expert Guesses Cheap vs Expensive Cocaine
Next please.
AWESOME LMFAO
I’ll happily be the expert
Actually this one I'm curious about. What I mean is that the experts so far know a wide variety of different products within their category. But does a cocaine expert also know about marijuana and heroin?
@@Dayvit78 No.
That would be a good video seeing as how all drug cartels actually do employ experts that can see and taste the quality of product.
These vids are so long but they always seem to go so fast. I want morrrrre
Kia Redman Me too. I love them and I never click so fast on any other video
You're right I didn't realise this one was almost twenty minutes!
Idk why all the experts are so attractive
ingnorancebliss I’m so glad I’m not the only one noticing. This guy really fills out that shirt well 😻
Are we twins??? Or siblings? We thought of the same thing!
intelligence is sexy!
because they chose the pretty ones.
"Size doesn't necessarily make a better product" :^)
that's what he said
That's not what she would ever say
I swear when I read this comment the man recites it on my screen, what a coincidence
@@karensmith6074 that’s what every she ever would say

Why do the experts in these series just ‘look’ their profession? Does that make any sense lol? He totally appears as a spice guy to me.
The ice cream lady was ice cream personified.
Damn right he looks spicy 👀👀
True experts in a field often reflect what they do in how they present and/or carry themselves...so yeah it makes sense.
You saying he looks like he snorts spices? 🤔
Same thing with pets. They start to look like their owners.
"The curls just open up" *zooms in on them not opening* Glad to see another in this series!
This was one of my favorite experts
What about doing the opposite of these? "Spice AMATEUR guess cheap vs expensive spices." They could go off of the list of what the expert says they should be looking for.
"So it says I should not smell a chalky flavour for this one.... WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?"
what about doing the opposite? Cheap spices guess amateur vs. expert spice taster. They could go off the list of what the expensive spice says they should be looking for,

Spice Boys
I’m scary spice-boy
Did any of the experts ever get something wrong?
Not in any of the videos I've watched. (Meats, cheese, Coffee, chocolate, and Knife). So unless bread, or ice cream experts got one wrong... no.
Nope
Yes, in the ice cream episode
She did identify them all correctly in the ice cream episode, but she did prefer the cheaper strawberry ice cream.
No
How could they not do saffron or vanilla, they would have been such an exciting one.
Saffron is too expensive and I don’t think Vanilla has that many expensive types
@@Yrkr785 yeah but you can get shop brand saffron or get one from an obscure niche spice market
@@Irishbloke true get him fake Saffron vs Persian Saffron
@@Yrkr785 Vanilla is the second most expensive spice in the world. All of it is expensive.
This guy looks like the kid in middle school who would get into a contest of who could eat the most Chili flakes in the cafeteria and came in second to that kid who has no fear of God, then caught the bug and actually made a career of it while the other kid went on to tattoo his eyelids in 9th grade and swallow goldfish for a living
Amazing
That was a roller coaster of a sentence
The spice must flow. He who controls the spice controls the universe.
Harkonnen Officer Guesses Cheap vs Expensive Spice
Then in true Harkonnen style, the officer gets brutally executed if he guesses wrong.
Lol I’m cracking up picturing him finishing the grind and say now for the cinnamon challenge as he grabs a spoonful !
Not even five minutes into this video, I'm already thinking, "Did he just do the cinnamon challenge?!" And "He's got Cheeto dust on his fingers!"
DareDB KPop if the cinnamon challenge was taking a pinch of cinnamon and putting it in your mouth, no one would have died. The reason people don't do the challenge anymore was the fact that it caused so many people internal burns, and death mostly in younger kids because they couldn't breathe, and their throats and lungs swelled from the irritation.
the cinammon challenge is super easy lol.
damn it's weird seeing you on non-kpop vids
The "cinnamon challenge" is when you try to swallow a huge mound of ground cinnamon like an idiot.
Ground cinnamon is actually no joke. Someone actually died: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3182227/Four-year-old-Kentucky-boy-killed-inhaling-cinnamon-kitchen-cabinet-family-home.html
Has anyone in this series ever made a mistake? Or would most people refuse to allow them to show it because of reputation?
Yah that or find out a product is overpriced garbage. I would love to see that. I thought for sure one of the hot sauces was going to be like that.
I think they have! Can't remember where though sorry it's not very helpful
It happened once in the icecream one, because an ice cream was overpriced
Magnus yes, in the chocolate episode.
In the ice cream one, she definitely didn't make a mistake because she knew which was which but she preferred the cheaper one as the expensive one had too many unnecessary ingredients which muddied the flavors
I like his hair and his subtle hipster style
Everything is "hipster" nowdays.
Short hair, long hair...jacket, no jacket...
His curls is dope
What's hipster about him? I swear people y'all say that about anything you don't wear yourself.
Karma Fairy dude's just wearing a solid blue shirt and standard glasses, and you cant even see his pants or shoes lol
a subtle dash of hipster is always nice
I think the real expert in all these videos is whoever decorates the chalk board
The difference in the bark between cinnamon A and B is not A is an older tree and hence more dense and B is a younger tree. It’s the inherent nature of the two barks as these are two very different species.
Cinnamon A mostly imported from South America what is mostly consumed in the US. The taste and smell is very bold.
Cinnamon B is more popular in Europe. Ceylon cinnamon was one of the main reasons why Britain at the time conquered Ceylon ( now Sri Lanka)
It’s taste and smell is more delicate and refined.
This series is amazing. I started watching at beer, and I'm at spice now. I enjoyed ice cream, pickles, etc on the way. It seems nobody is ever wrong! Moving forward, having the experts 'guess' the brand/kind would be super interesting, in my opinion.

My love for tea knows no bounds . It would be shameful if this series of videos were to end without a tea connoisseur / master review #ForTheLoveOfTea
This was the first time that it wasn’t easy to tell which items were more expensive.
Anyone else notice how he flinches at 7:20 >.
Or some pepper in his throat.
Like the smell aroused him lol
jizzed in his pants! buddy I can't tell you how many times the same thing happens to me when I'm trying spices in the grocery store! =O
How the guy didnt sneeze when he smelled pepper x) ?

He smelled the frageance and scent, he didn’t snort it
😒 now I have to upgrade my spice cabinet.
J M I thought I was the only one
J M same and I already was suspicious about my turmeric

Where do you even go to get gourmet spices? All I ever see if McCormick.
Larger cities have gourmet spice shops. Or you can order online!
Also, the prices indicated here weren't crazy specialty prices. I wouldn't be surprised if most of this was McCormick vs store brands.
True. I actually live in Southern Cali near LA. I think the closest I can get is whole foods. I wish this channel would give shout-outs to where they get their gourmet goods.
@@Jessicanana89 I've seen good and bad spices at WF, regardless of price.
I order mine online. Recommend WorldSpice if you're in the states. If you're ordering ground spices or spice blends they grind/blend the spices on an order by order basis, that way you can be sure to get a nice fresh product. I've yet to have a bad experience with their spices.
I really liked that he was willing to get his hands dirty (literally) while assessing the spices, it implies that he values a thorough evaluation over trying to look good on camera.
Still waiting for a video on whoever does those chalkboard drawings
