Fantastic Tutorial. Thank you for the detailed setup.
Best Tutorial out there. Simple straight forward and no BS. Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
You know I did this 2 years ago but forgot how I did it back then. Your video came just in time.
Sometimes refreshers help. I gotta remind myself a lot of the times as well 😉
Thanks that's very handy to know and also you made it quick and easy. I appreciate it!
Hi! Thank you for great tutorial. However, I can’t receive the automated email (except the email of website administrator).
I did fill the correct shortcode into Email2. I installed SMTP. Not server error. Email was sent out.
How can I solve it?
Thank you in advance.
Solved, we need to chance every short code, we can't have 2 short code in 2 different forms with same ID form or shortcode
Great video. Thanks
Love all the videos you make bro, please keep making lots of videos about Elementor your tutorials are great, Respect always
I really appreciate that. Thanks!🙏

Hello Jeffrey, Man I like and learn so much from your tutorials, really great. I have one question about the tutorial 'auto respond emails with elementor' I cannot get the logo in the respond message done. I kopied the way how you did it but still I cannot het it right. I also grap my logo from the media how you did. Can you pls help. Thanks John from the Netherlands
Hey John thanks! 🙏 When adding the link to your logo, make sure it's in between the "" and there aren't {} around your URL. If you've done everything correct, it could be possible the email client isn't reading it correctly. Emails are running on old HTML and some are hard to get right. I've only testing in GMail. Try testing in other email clients and GMail.
I did notice there was an issue with the tag he copied. It should be
He had used a closing img tag (which you don’t need as image tags are self closing) instead of the closing a tag
Believe me I make silly mistakes all the time. It worked on his example bc it was the last thing in the input box so it didn’t mess up anything after it but if you copied his example and put your image in between elements I’m not surprised it didn’t work.
No shade here, I’m front end and make mistakes in my JavaScript constantly. Spent hhr debugging to realize I had written innerHtml instead of innerHTML 🤦🏻♀️
That's great ❤ thanks!
Thank you! Much appreciated
Great tutorial Jeffrey! Could you follow up with a video about creating a custom email template? Maybe add some code snippets to integrate the template with other plugins that use emails 😁. Much appreciated!
Amazing Thanks Uncle
Cool thanks
Hi Jeff, Happy New Year. hey i wanted to know how can I send a "confirm your email link" with Elementor?
Thanks, learned a lot, But my default email does not display the reply-to email address in the email I receive from someone filling out my contact form. The person receives my auto email after filling out form. But when I open my email and hit reply, it replies to my own email. How do I make the reply-to email that I put in the default email show up/ I used the email tag as you showed.
So cool!
So awesome to hear this 😎
thanks
You're welcome! Cheers!
Hi Jeffrey, always great videos ! How do you manage abusive spam in your forms ? I have the plugin call "no spam elementor" but still some spam ... Whats your tricks about spams ? Thanks
google recaptcha broo
Hi Jeffery, great video, as usual, one question how do I get the Email2
Go to the ‘Actions after submit’ option in the form settings. It’s right about where you set up the default email.
Great video
Thank you!
I’d love to know how to “verify” their email by including a link, especially if they are opting into an email list
I've been working on this. It's something on my list of videos coming up
@@LytboxStudio awesome ! Great content! I am also a designer turned front-end developer, its nice to see content from someone that seems to process in a similar lane as me!
Hey Jeff, grate video helped me out loads. One issue I'm having is I can not get my company logo to show up at the bottom of the auto respond emails. I imputed the exact thing you had in the video and just cant get it to work. Is there any way you can help me out with this?
Thanks! Is your logo an SVG? If so, upload a PNG logo image and add the URL in the HTML code snippet
@@LytboxStudio yes it’s a PNG. I’ve been trying it with PNG no luck.
Question could you apply html code in the box to make a solid colour bcakground
Stu
I'm sure it's possible. Would be a fun task 😉
thanks for this video, Can you tell me how did you come up with the emoji? I cant find that option ^^ Thanks
Thanks! I just typed in the emoji on my Mac using control+command+space bar. I’m sure PC has something similar
@@LytboxStudio yep you're right just find out :) "During text entry, type Windows logo key + . (period). The emoji keyboard will appear."
@@danygingras7782 Or just copy it from some emoji list online. That's faster sometimes lol
Greeting jeffrey i tried this action but mine is not sending email after the form is summitted
You might need an SMTP.
Try installing FluentSMTP plugin and then run a test. In FluentSMTP there are email logs that show if emails are sent out. If you see the email sent out in your logs, then it’ll be an SMTP issue.
7:40 Is there any specific reason you'd link back to a PDF in your media library as opposed to a link in a Google drive? Is there any security issue with supplying a link that shows a path back to a media library, which is the back end of your installation? Thanks for this video, the Forms widget is not particularly intuitive, it's strange the default settings for Reply To etc. aren't what you have done here.
Good question and idea. It's not hard to find the path back to someones media but it would be ideal to use an outside link like drive.
@@LytboxStudio Thank you.
hi!, how i can add form to elementor page?? this video its configuration not how integrate, thx
I don't have email 2? is this a recent change in Elelentor?
There’s been no change.
Try disabling plugins to see if ones causing a conflict. If that doesn’t work, you should contact Elementor Support and have e them look to see why it’s not showing.
7:25 does anyone knows how to make the attachment link dynamic?
That's a good question. I gotta put some thought into that one 🤔
@@LytboxStudio hi Jeffrey, please! I've been exploring the option but still dead end.
@@LytboxStudio here's the case for context:
- I build custom post type using jetengine.
- One of the meta field for each post is URL for PDF file
- when user visit post X, they can click button inside it which will trigger a popup form.
- once they click submit, the action will be submitting the form and redirect user to specific pdf file
- and that pdf file url pulled from the meta field
- and I went crazy searching for a way 😂
I do everything like you but I don’t get auto response .
I configure smtp plugin works fine but auto don’t
Solved, we need to chance every short code, we can't have 2 short code in 2 different forms with same ID form or shortcode
Glad you figured it out and a big thanks for posting the solution, this will help others. Cheers
I've setup SMTP but I'm still getting this error. "Email 2 Your submission failed because of a server error". It only applies to Email 2 and not the first email.
What SMTP provider are you using?
Another great one. You just gave me some new ideas for a client in particular 😁👌
I do have something to bother all of you with, it's not related to this video, it is in fact related to this one : th-cam.com/video/lGOwCvhdIIw/w-d-xo.html
The reason why i'm posting this here is, probably since it's a one year old video, there aren't many people capable of helping out and answering post ove there. The video in question is the one where you teach how to mobile menus with elementor popups. I have been using it and i don't want anything else, at least for the time being. The problem i encoutered is, i use this method in a single page project where the navigation is based in anchors whitin the same page, of course, and everytime i click on any menu item the popup doesn't close. What am i doing wrong and, can anyone help me?
@Jeffrey, if you think this comment should not be here let me know and i will remove it.
Hey it’s all good. TH-cam flagged it because of the link but I unflagged it.
I just made a new video on Jump and Anchor menus that has the solution for simple page menus.
@@LytboxStudio yeah, i already saw it, i even think i said that in a message i sent you. I just haven't had the time to get busy and implement your teachings yet :)
Hey love the video but you lost me on the "A tag" what is that?
It’s all good. The a tag is the html tag for adding links. It looks like - whatever text you add here will be a link
I’m putting this into a blog post tomorrow. I’ll include a copy and paste email template to make it easier in there and add a link to the post in the comments. Hope this helps!
