No. This game SHOULD NOT be remade. This is because they tried the remake once in DSC, and in that, they RUINED the ONE THING this game did that no other RE game did at that time. This game NEEDS A SEQUEL! If you have not figured it out yet, just like almost no one has figured this out, but watch my dedicated vid on this if you think I don't know what i'm talking about and want proof otherwise... This game is ALL ABOUT CLAIRE'S CHARACTER! Steve's ONLY PURPOSE is to give Claire that powerful moment. Chris's only purpose, apart from finding Wesker's alive, is to accentate Claire's story. And honestly, I am surprised that no other reviewer that I saw caught the fact that this game is MAINLY about Claire. In that regard Steve, as intolerable as he is, is more important to the story than Chris. But I saw reviewers who circumvent Steve alltogether, showing that even they don't get it. @@TheBengalDragon in all honesty when I view Claire in this game I see her as a sweet, strong and determined young woman who went through hell just to find her brother (also considering RE2). In that particular time stamp she seemed defeated + exhausted after she went through everything to find Chris and he decided to leave again + considering she did just lose Steve which most definitely had to have been traumatizing for her… this also makes sense for how she acts in Degeneration in stressful situations. Besides that for my point Chris seems very very determined because of his past with Wesker, Umbrella etc etc.. while Claire seems more exhausted since her purpose in the first two games she was in was to find her brother. Plus she was always seen as a civilian unlike the other female protagonists in most games who would usually have the mentality to save the world or were part of special forces or smth of the sort. But Claire’s story is really just about her love for her brother and care for the people she meets along the way. I truly love her character though, one of my favorite female protagonists. If there’s anything you’d like to share please do! It’s such an interesting game and I believe Claire is a very well made character. I also find it intriguing how Claire is always the female character who has a younger character to take care of most of the time, but those younger characters always come out stronger than before once they are around Claire. And it’s so interesting to see how Claire holds her own even with younger characters who don’t have the exact skill set as she does.

Chris couldn’t defeat Wesker in hand to hand combat, but here Alexia is using her superhuman powers against Wesker, and Chris is using firearms against her, so it’s hardly a comparison.
Doubt they will.. this one was too kooky with all the inbreeding and guys dress like his sister.. it was really weird like they were implying that they were together as kids.. I mean it was a lot of nasty stuff going on in this one. I wonder if resident evil even considere this game cannon to the actual story??

I went into Alexia fight with only shotguns and magnum, the others are on Claire. I almost thought i wont beat her and have to start all over again but i managed to pull through and then took her down in a single attempt with the linear launcher. What a clutch moment
1:21 - your braver than me fighting her so close, you do realise she has that instant death move where she picks Chris up by the throat and burns him alive it's so funny too 🤣. it's not funny when your doing the rocket launcher run on hard mode and alexia corneres you in with flames though because I've had that too
I tried beating this game back in 2005-2006 and never got past this boss. I had no ammo or health and remember thinking I forgot a gun back on the frozen island. I definitely never even got to the part where she was flying haha. Now I feel like I have to go back and beat it for that nostalgic redemption.
I had the exact same issue! I was totally aware of the fact that you need to save ammo from RE3, but if I remember correctly, some of it was not available to me in the end because I left it on some other character or something and didn't have an early enough save to fix that. I clearly remember finally giving up after finishing all the powerful ammo available to me and Alexia was still standing. That said, I still had a blast playing this game.
I had the same problem. I couldn't beat this boss... I faced it with no ammo and no health. This is the only resident evil in Wich I had that problem :s great game anyways!

Indeed, that's why Resident Evils 4 and 5 were made, the sequels to this. RE3 is called such ONLY because Sony was to get 3 Resident Evils on Playstation 1 and they demanded that all 3 are numbered, even though Nemesis is a pointless sidestory spinoff. Code Veronica is the real Resident Evil 3, leading directly to the storyline of RE5.

What do you guys think are the chances of me defeating Alexia's... blob form? the thing at 17:30, with only a pistol, shotgun, and bowgun with no explosive arrows? Because she's pretty hardcore with the using minions to stunlock me and I'm thinking this game was banking on me finding some of the other guns...
When i played the game for the first time ( i was 10 years old maybe ) i thought that at 16:57 i was supposed to take the control of Claire, and i didn't get why she didn't move when i pressed the controller buttons Then, i realized i was playing as Chris, not Claire

The Tyrant on a plane was the hardest in this game for me, i think the first was Nosferatu but it was all because i didn't knew there was the Alfred's Sniper xD but this Boss was a joke, it is best to kill her with the submachine gun but just to enjoy the fight and not to kill her fastly

The ranking system in the RE series has been number of deaths, number of saves, number of first aid sprays used, and the total time it takes you to beat the game. I don't know the exact means to get an A or a S rank though.

The Tyrant on a plane was the hardest in this game for me, i think the first was Nosferatu but it was all because i didn't knew there was the Alfred's Sniper xD but this Boss was a joke, it is best to kill her with the submachine gun but just to enjoy the fight and not to kill her fastly

The ranking system in the RE series has been number of deaths, number of saves, number of first aid sprays used, and the total time it takes you to beat the game. I don't know the exact means to get an A or a S rank though.
