Sorry for Quality of footage it was taken in 2003 and 2005 when I was visiting home. I now decided to share some memories, eventually I will update, meanwhile I hope you like it.
Just some other updates: Frosty Freeze has since closed, the McDonalds was remodeled, the Burger King became a Wendy's, and the old factories along North Ave are currently being demolished for condos. The Pathmark is currently empty and has been since about 2015.
I don't really like to have to say this, but OMG I haven't been there since my Father passed, I had an accident on the plane on the way there and am still unable to go back or anywhere for that matter but what the hell is happening to my town it will always be my hometown. I was born and raised there since 1951. I moved from there just before my Mom passed and then my Dad in 2017 at 98 years old. I hate to say this but I'm glad he didn't live long enough to see what they have done to Garwood, and even if I could go back I wouldn't want to say what I'm feeling. I still have friends there and they are all good people and I will never forget them, I better leave it at that and whoever is responsible for what they have done all I can say is I hope they choke on the money they made to sell out the piece of heaven they turned into hell. I hope my friends will forgive me for my opinion for I wish them well and are okay..

the north avenue mall sign contained those 2 stores that shared premises and the offer of a "massage with a happy ending"...raided and shut down.
