Short Gonczy Polski description:
The Polish Hunting Dog is medium to large sized dog breed with athletic and muscular body, deep chest, straight back, muscular limbs, long floppy ears and dark brown eyes with gentle expression. The average height of this dog is between 50-59 cm, which is 19-24 inch and weight is usually between 22-26 kg, which is 48-57 lbs. Females tend to be slightly smaller than males.
The Gonczy Polski has functional doublecoat, which is relatively short, but pretty dense and that grows thicker during winter months. You can find this breed in great looking black and tan or red and brown and tan colors. Tan markings are usually on the muzzle, around the eyes, front of the neck, forechest and limbs.

Wow, ,,our" (from Poland) dog. Thanks. We (me and my family) are considerating this dog as a family pet&guard towards the rottweiler, staffy (Yes, I know - not a very good guard at all 😅), german pincher and a continental bulldog.
I think, that ,,gończak" will win after all (the ,,winter" coat, and some other factors). We have had also a wery good experience with those dogs during last summer.

Do you have any info of the width of search pattern and
lenght of drive and it's duration. Here in Finland you are only allowed to use dogs that are smaller than 39 cm or time of drive must be less than 20 minutes to hunt deer, elk and moose.

I have a doubt. Do dogs enjoy music? Because, my sister is a Indian Carnatic music student and while playing the music my dogs close their eyes and gives reaction as if they are mesmerized.
I think music can be relaxing to dogs just as it is to people. But my dogs never reacted to any kind of music :-D
I listen a lot to meditation music and my Presa Canario relax a lot when I play it :-)
