I remember back when I was little kid we lived on a state highway and in those days( early 60's) there wasn't much traffic especially trucks so when we got one to honk the horn it was a really big deal.I always thought about that when a kid gave me the honk signal.
I guess I am a lucky one.. haha I have a friend who lives in Green Bay , so I have seen a lot of the state on my travels to see her . I live in a Beautiful State of West Virginia too.

Traveling from Sioux City to Waterloo use to be treachous State in the winter time on old Hwy 20. Nothing but 2- lane. And going up Hwy 61 wasn't any better. Lol. Steep grades coming back south. Take care

I don’t like those ROUNDABOUTS at all, no matter what I’m driving! Driving while tired…a lot of things can happen & you can miss out on some good stuff as well. So are you getting a new parking spot or what’s happening to you ground there? That the life of a trucker, right? At least they didn’t refuse you getting into the compound, but once you got in they didn’t want you to leave. Fun stuff. Blessings my friend! 🤩🥰✌️

I see things haven’t changed! I thought I might try going OTR back in the late 70s. All that sitting and waiting! I tired of feeling like I was lower than “whale Pooh”! I went out in another direction and made my way to my retirement! I never looked back!

New owners of my factory fenced in the primary loading dock and added a gate so NO truck can get to the dock. Why? Who knows. Anyway it's turned into a major cluster fruck whenever a truck shows up to pick up or drop off. I have a small commercial building next to the factory and I see what's going on most days. Down right entertaining.
We hardly ever get to see a light show in our town but I have seen them going down the road great video keep up the good work God bless from GA stay safe have a safe trip
i saw a video on strange mysteries and it was a truck driver who drove into and through an american state forest. spotted by several drivers. eventually the truck was found but it was 2 years before the remains of the driver were found. to this day no one knows why a respected driver suddenly vered off into the middle of nowhere and just vanished.
Yes we have deer and they like to roam around at night. As smart as they are made out to be they don't understand the highways. Good luck driving through our beautiful state.

Oh my-betcha you went into Wis Pak-I'll just say-some things NEVER change. Sat at one of their places out in Watertown west of Milwaukee for the better part of 7 hours-and that was a SHORT wait. No matter what-there ain't NO reason for that whatsoever. My experience with them was in late 1995-as I stated previously-some thing just never change.........
Shippers and receivers will never explain why they will hold a driver for a whole work shift and then some.
