Yield Theory in a Nutshell

- This video is an overview of my comprehensive Yield Theory - an evidence-based approach to communication centered in meeting people where they are, getting around their defensiveness, and speaking in ways that can be heard, regardless of the situation. My book Walking Through Anger details how to use Yield Theory, not as some random technique, but as approach to communicate through any intense emotions. I've spent my life devoted to making complex subjects super simple for people, and that includes making Yield Theory something everyone can learn and use in their every day lives.
Sending everyone who sees this, and everyone who doesn't, much peace.

I am currently reading your book and it’s been life-changing, do you still do counseling? If so, I would like to do a virtual thing. I’m still struggling bad.
Always great stuff, thanks for sharing Doc
The real life analogies you use, combined with your simple to understand commentary is just awesome, love your videos and your book! Highly recommend to everyone I know.
Thank you. I have your book on audible. I'm going to go through it again. Very eye opening. I appreciate you very much. I had a bad relationship with a narcissist, and your book helped me learn to stop defending myself with ego, which made me feel like I was the narcissist, and start becoming more accepting and understanding about how she felt and why she felt that way. I couldn't help her in the end, but I'm able to see her with compassion rather than anger now. I think it will make me a better partner in any future relationship.
great work, thank you
