The beatles are a 60s band so don't have many music videos, they have some old ones and a few newly made ones and they are all worth reacting to. They're all great videos and legendary songs.
The Beatles may not be your favorite band but they are, undoubtedly, the best band in history. Aside form the sales, hits, and general popularity, the Beatles did more for music than any other artist. They experimented with different instruments, techniques, and production. They also helped the artists wrest control of their own music from the studios. There will never be another Beatles.
Agreed… and so much more, from the hair (many young people wanted a Beatle haircut back then instead of ‘short back and sides’) to writing their own material (it wasn’t done much until they came along) to refusing to perform to a segregated audience when they were booked in the States… and more.
I would also like to put on the list of influential band black sabbath Considering they basically invented heavy metal. And even then we have the Beatles to thank for that as they were big fans of the Beatles.especially ozzy
The MELODIES are the most important, and the Beatles are the best, have written melodies as if they were the greatest musicians on Earth! Many great musicians/song writers from the past and today have written and write great songs and music, but not as many musical categories and the numbers of wonderful melodies, just can`t be countered, FACT! George Martin claimed; The Beatles were the greatest song writers of the 20th century, and so far, it`s still the best at the start of the 21rst century, UNBELIEVABLE, but an obvious FACT!!!!
Man, Ringo Starr has got to be the most underrated musician in music history. Not only did he change how people approach the drums in a pop or rock context, he is one of very few drummers who are instantly recognisable. The ultimate servant of the song. Those who diss him literally don’t know what they’re talking about.
I can only imagine what it is like hearing the Beatles for the first time now. Back in 1964, we were amazed with their musuc and it hasn't grown old in the 60 years since.
You know, it’s a funny thing about The Beatles, I can listen to one of their songs a thousand times and notice something that I never noticed before. For example, during “Hey Jude” Paul begins to sing “Take a load off Fanny, and put the load back on me”, which, of coarse, is a line from The Band’s song “The Weight”. ☺️
Except he's not really underrated. Most successful and critically acclaimed rock and roll drummer of all time. It's hard to see how you'd call him underrated.
@@magicbrownie1357 who? Of course there's always going to be a bloke who says Mick Jagger can't sing or Eddie Van Halen sucked, etc but despite the fact that every single Beatles video on TH-cam has hundreds of people claiming that Ringo is underrated, they only say it in order to point out that THEY don't underrated him and are aware of his brilliance but that these imaginary "other" people underrated him. Despite the lazy meme that ringo is underrated, literally the only thing you can find online are drummer forums, rock forums, interviews, critiques, videos, articles etc from music fans, fellow musicians and critics talking about how brilliant he was and why. Despite the fact that he's universally critically lauded as a brilliant drummer, despite the fact that he's the highest paid drummer in the history of the world, and despite virtually every single drummer since dating Ringo was a major influence on them, people still pretend that he's underrated. Yeah, I understand that your mate at the pub who doesn't listen to the Beatles because they were recording 70 years ago might say they sucked and they like today's music better-- just like you probably rarely listen to the Andrew Sisters-- but Ringo is almost universally acclaimed as a great musician. Of course Lennon, McCartney and Harrison get more attention but they were better songwriters/ singers and stood in the front during live shows. So as a songwriter Ringo is not rated as highly of course. Is that why you thought he was underrated as a drummer?
Your 1st time really experiencing the Beatles. I’m crying for you. You have been deprived of some of the greatest music ever. It will take a long time but, listen to as much as you can. You will be so happy
To really appreciate the genius of the Beatles you need to listen to their music in chronological order so you can see were they started and were they went in a 6 year period. Incredible transformation of a band and its music.
I was just a wee thing in 1st grade and I brought in a Beatles album for show and tell. They just hit here in America as the giant stars they became. My teacher wouldn’t let me play the album. I was allowed to talk about it but that’s all. The Beatles radicalized all of us kiddies, and we’re also thankful. Hope you got a smile from this little story.
Compressed into 7 amazing years (1963-1970), The Beatles compiled an incredible body of recorded work! While the earliest work contains many gems, their spectacular growth took the world with them on an incredible ride that we still speak of 50+ years later!!
Great choice of songs to introduce yourself to the greatest band of all time. Their songs, especially their earlier ones, were short due to the fact that radio stations wouldn’t play anything longer than two or three minutes. Hey Jude broke the rules at seven minutes eleven seconds but still got played and went to number one on the charts.
Doing the whole Beatles discography would be a huge undertaking but one that I’m sure would change your life! They had an incredible career and really did change the face of music forever.
This was their last concert on rooftop of Apple building in very posh part of London. Police were called out as they stopped traffic but when they saw it was the Beatles.
The drums on Here Comes the Sun are great. Ringo was such a creative player, and the album this one was from was the first that recorded his kit in Stereo - so they had never sounded better.
I heard Ringo and other drummers talking about his playing. He is left handed but the drums he played are set up right handed so, he has to do some fancy handwork to play them. This adaptation is part of the reason his playing style is so unique.
As Great as Lennon & McCartney are, Harrison's songs sometimes get me the most... Once again, as Here Comes the Sun plays, I wipe my eyes and cheeks over and over... the hope of relief from emotional darkness and cold, to feel better days are just ahead, to feel you can rest in your lover's arms, it's all beautifully captured by George and the Beatles. And, yes, Ringo's drum fills are truly wonderful...
"I Want to Hold Your Hand" came on over the house P.A. as I had my local Target pretty much all to myself one morning last week, and of course I shamelessly chimed right in on the vocals and air guitar ---and never mind that it's got to be a quarter of a century since the last time that I heard it. The Fabsters stay with you for life.
I was 10 years old when the Beatles came to America. They were the biggest thing ever! Each week,we waited for their next number one hit! Try listening to some of their early stuff and see how they changed over the years. The songs you were listening to were mostly from their later days, some from just before they broke up, like their last concert performed on the rooftop of Abby Road Studio. If you notice, every song has something new added to it, in each verse or chorus; a new instrument or harmony, hand claps, key change, tempo change, etc. It's never boring. Also, they wrote and performed many various styles of music. Enjoy!
I love to see people discovering the Beatles. They're so iconic Here's some of my recommendations from the Beatles, Penny Lane, Blackbird, Yesterday, Let it be, Get back
i was 7 when I first saw them on the Ed Sullivan show back in Feb 1964. They are my favorite band and I've been singing in bands since I was 14 including a Beatles Tribute band. My favorite song is The long and Winding Road. Also In my Life and Eleanor Rigby are must listen to but they were so prolific so many to choose from you have deep rabbit hole to enjoy.
The number one thing about The Beatles is that there no ONE sound that defines them. Their diversity is what made them unique. You'll get rock, folk, ballads, heavy metal, children's, etc. I have to recommend that you start at their beginning and progress through their albums and singles chronologically just like we did in the 60's. You'll be amazed at the way they mature. Remember when those early tunes were written they were still teenagers! And they were all still in their twenties when the band broke up!
Well said. I've been a lifelong Beatles super-fan, but watching the Get Back documentary, it crystalized for me jus HOW genius these 4 men were, and what I can't get over was that these super-humans wrote this incredoble catalog of work before they were 30 years old.. I cannot wrap my head around this.
It's just awesome for a 60 year old (into them since'64 ) see so many great comments like these all here, especially nearly 60 years after they broke the mold! The Beethovens,Chopins,Mozarts of the 20th century and beyond-forever known and loved just like the classical composers were and still studied ,nearly 400 years later!!The Beatles, were and always will be,thought of in the same vein-timeless!!

I first heard them in 1964, when I was in 7th grade. I remember a couple of years later, when a conductor or musician(?) who presented classical music on TV, surprised the stuffier adults by saying that he taught his kids the 3 B's of classical music -- Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms -- but after about 1964, he added a 4th B to the list -- Beatles.
I saw 'Beatles' and had to do a double take. That was the best surprise, still can't get the smile off my face. Great choice of songs, although if you decide to do more, you'll find out there are no bad choices, and every track is a brand new experience, you'll soon find out that all the hype is justified. Big 'thank you' for this Bryson. ❤
Great start with the Beatles! There are so many beautiful songs, but you could continue with Let it be, Something, While my guitar gently weeps, Eleanor Rigby 😃
The Beatles are my favorite band - I've been a fan since I was 10, 33 years ago! It's hard to pick their best songs, but it's harder to pick their bad ones. Welcome to the club! I can't wait for you to hear more Beatles songs...and their solo works!
@@danacasey8543 So lucky to have seen them in person! That really is amazing. The Beatles are the best songwriter's, and if there is one thing that I'm glad my mom passed on to me is her Beatle's albums. I am grateful to have been 6 and getting to figure out Sgt Peppers. I love hearing that others are continuing to hear and love the Beatles.
Yes please, lots more Beatles. I'm looking forward to you realising that they are the best band ever and produced the best music ever over the 8 short years they were together.
I am really pleased you are dipping your toes into The Beatles (non beach seawater toe dipping ofc). Nothing I can type really can describe the amount of respect and gratitude I have for this band. As for many, they were an integral part of my childhood as my dear Mother handed me all her Beatles "45s" to listen to at a very early age. The Beatles formed at a time of massive cultural revolution that they may have introduced or at least influenced. "Here Comes The Sun" is a big old cosy sweater that I wear regularly, one of my many favourites. Thank you for this reaction and I sincerely hope you continue to react to the "Fab Four" dear PMD. ❤❤
So happy that you are starting to dive into the Beatles catalog! For "Here Comes the Sun," that was George Harrison on lead vocals. The Beatles started the British Invasion of pop and rock music in 1964 in the U.S. and changed the course of rock and roll. I recommend a mix of their early hits like "I Want to Hold Your Hand" (their first hit, both John and Paul on lead vocals ... which also went to No. 1 ... that introduced them to American radio in January 1964), "Yesterday" (1965, credited to the Beatles but really only Paul), "We Can Work It Out" (1965/Paul) and "In My Life" (1966/John) ... and later hits like "With a Little Help From My Friends" (1968, featuring Ringo on lead vocals), "Something" (1969, with George on lead vocals), "Let It Be" (1970/Paul), "I've Got a Feeling" (1970/Paul and John, from the same Apple Corps Studios rooftop concert as "Don't Let Me Down") and "Across the Universe" (1970/John).
Thoroughly enjoyed your reactions to these classic Beatles songs - well, of course all Beatles songs are classics in one way or another. With their diverse collective musical vocabulary, they created entirely new sounds, opening the doors for many of the genres and styles that later bands would develop. Formed in 1957, from a relatively simple base as a live R&B/pop/beat/rock'n'roll covers band, their evolution was fast and intense as their creativity blossomed and they moved from the standard 1950s/early 60s pop themes of teenage love to exploring deeper ideas and images, while their musical production just got better and better, more sophisticated and experimental. Revolutionarily for the time, they became the first band to write almost all of their own material. Everyone has their favourite Beatles songs and periods within their short but intense 8 year recording career, from 1962-70. You'll just have to start to explore and see what your own favourites are. My recommendations: For earlier (ie before full-on Beatlemania) stuff, their entire live set on Swedish TV's "Drop-In" Show from 1963. It's a great vibe with the boys still hungry to win over their relatively reserved Swedish audience. For mid period stuff when they started moving away from the romantic love themes, try listening to Norwegian Wood and Fool On The Hill or Nowhere Man. Then prepare to be amazed by Helter Skelter, Tomorrow Never Knows and A Day In The Life. Lastly, transport yourself to another world with the whole of Abbey Road, Side Two, their final recorded group offering to the world before they went their separate ways.
The Beatles are incredible, you should definitely listen to more! The more you see them, the easier it is to tell who's who. I'm also glad that you brought up Paul's bass playing on Don't Let Me Down, that song has very nice bass. Rain is another song of theirs to check out with an interesting bassline, which is thankfully louder than most Beatles basslines.
The first song you played, Don't Let Me Down, was from their very last appearance. It was a concert on the roof of Abbey Rd. Studios. You need to back to the very beginning of their music career, most all of which they wrote themselves. Their music really changed over the years. I was 10 years old when they first came to America. It came to be known as the British Invasion. I cannot overestimate the affects the Beatles had in the music scene as well as the whole world. etc.!
Bryson, at first, I was a bit envious of you getting to experience The Beatles in more depth for the first time, but then I decided I’m just going to live vicariously through you. 😄With that in mind, here are some obvious recommendations (Yesterday, Something, Strawberry Fields Forever, Penny Lane, Eleanor Rigby, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Let It Be, A Day In The Life, All You Need Is Love) and some probably less so (Across The Universe, Fool On The Hill, I Am The Walrus, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, The Long And Winding Road, I’m Only Sleeping, In My Life, Blackbird, Dear Prudence).
@@b00jen81 It's difficult for me to gauge which of their songs are lesser known, cos my dad was such a massive fan that I was exposed to their entire back catalogue from birth. 😃 And I've always thought, for example, that Across the Universe is the best Lennon song ever, only to find out some people have not even heard of it. Which are your favourites?
@@ricardo_miguel13 Depends on who you ask. For a hardcore Beatles fan, sure, but I've met many people, who proclaimed they knew the Beatles well, but haven't heard the latter bunch, whics is why I suggested them.
Here Comes The Sun is definitely my favourite of all Beatles songs. I don't care at all for lyrics, maybe because I'm not a native English speaker and I was like ten years old when I first heard the Beatles, but I like the sound of that song, especially the bass and drums, and the guitar part is kind of fun to play, and having fun is the most important thing with music anyway, at least for me.
Really enjoyed this! In the “Hey Jude” video you can see Paul’s eyes keeps darting to his left, where John is, who keeps trying to break his composure by trying to him laugh lol this is live across the world ♥️
Even if you do it in your own time after finishing their music videos/whatever you should listen to the albums in full in order, including the singles and anthology tracks. They covered such a wide range of sounds and styles, whether invented or loved again, there's really no other way to get a real feel for their full scope.
So nice to see younger generations discovering the Beatles. I discovered them in the late 70s early 80s when I was a teenager so we weren’t the first generation to have them! And I’ve been loving them ever since 👍❤️
SO happy to see you exploring The Beatles! Yes, they are iconic - and deservedly so. Absolutely loved your reactions and commentary on these incredible songs. Hoping you further explore this band, because their music is remarkable and timeless! Take care my friend. 🙏✌️
If you want to see a early LIVE harmony, check out their performance of 'This Boy' from 'The Ed Sullivan Show' when they did the show from Florida. These guys have a huge rabbit hole. They came in on top and stayed their breakup in 1970. Everyone was just trying to keep up with them until 1967 when they left everyone in the dust. They didn't know how to read or write music and yet the combination of their specific geniuses was the perfect wave. 'Don't Let Me Down' was a rooftop performance and the last time they ever played in public. The irony is that unless you were up on another roof you wouldn't get to see them. The businesses in the immediate area complained about the disruption and the police were called. However, the general public on the streets were largely appreciative. 'Hey Jude' was LIVE with a real orchestra behind them, but they did have a prerecorded track behind them to fill out the sound for TV. This performance was on the show starring David Frost. In the states, we got to see it via 'The Smothers Brothers' show. They also did 'Revolution' on the show. Very worth seeing. 'Help' was just a music video. Songs had to be short back then in order to get on the radio. However, 'Hey Jude' changed that. That's how great their influence was. 'Here Comes The Sun' is kind of melancholy as it came off their actual last album. George was blossoming as a song writer but wasn't getting a lot of support from John and Paul. But he had hope that things would get better.
The greatest band of all time! Other songs:If I Fell,I Should Have Known Better,Ticket To Ride,It's Only Love,I've Just Seen A Face,Nowhere Man,Norwegian Wood,Girl,In My Life,Eleanor Rigby,And Your Bird Can Sing,Got To Get You Into My Life,A Day In The Life,With A Little Help From My Friends,While My Guitar Gently Weeps,Blackbird,Sexy Sadie,Dear Prudence,Back In The USSR,All You Need Is Love,Something,Across The Universe,Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End. 🖐️
Congrats on starting your Beatles Odessey! The songs you picked were later in their career, check out their live performance on the Ed Sullivan show in the early 60's. It will give you a good idea of what was happening in their early times. Great vid, bro! Really enjoyed it!
I always liked the Beatles, and had a few favorite songs, but I never realized how truly great they were until I was working from home during the pandemic and listened to all of their songs in chronological order. Every album they put out had a new style, and every album they improved musically over the one before. To think that 4 guys from the same city did all that in such a short time (11 albums in 7 years) is astounding.
You need to start at the beginning of their careers as the Beatles and watch the progression of their music. You will also see how the music corresponds with the changes in the world in just a few short years.❤️
This is your first time and you love love it but I've been listening to the Beatles since 1964 and ever time I listen I find little things that I hadn't heard before. The more you listen the more you appreciate their genius.
If you want to see DIFFERENT aspects of their sound… go with “Helter Skelter,” “Something,” “I Am The Walrus,” and “Here There and Everywhere.” That would be an excellent balanced sampler to go with the 4 you just did.
A good mix of songs. The Beatles have been a huge part of my life. Raised my kids on them too. Now they can distinguish good music from crap. Try ‘Strawberry Fields Foerever’. There’s a cool video for that song. Or ‘Rain’.
Wow! It's so hard to get an idea of the Beatles from so few songs and it's hard to try to give you only a few more suggestions but to get an idea of their early success I'd definitely suggest "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" or "She Loves You". At some point you've got to hear "Yesterday" which I imagine you've at the very least heard a cover of since it is the most covered song in music. "Something" is not far behind in that regard, so that's another you need to hear. To get an idea of their rockers I'd suggest "Revolution", "I'm Down", and "Helter Skelter". "I Feel Fine", "Got to Get You Into My Life", and "Let it Be" are ones you shouldn't miss either. I could go on listing at least 20 more but that will get you going.
Strawberry fields are two pieces of separate music sheets. When they marry/ fit together like your hands intolocking or a key fitting a lock. Phenomenal.
When Paul played this for John he said don't worry I 'll change the lyrics about "the movement you need is on your shoulder" and John immediately said you won't those are the best lyrics in the song! John and Paul were the best songwriting team ever!!
I am loving your Beatles reactions. I love that you immediately seem to pick up on their distinct personalities and I love love LOVE that you take a moment to briefly look up what each song is about
In Hey Jude, Paul is singing to John's son Julian. Hey Jude was the first internationally broadcast video from THE TO THE UK to the US. They also sang All You Need is Love.
Beatles are amazing. Let it Be is a good one, as are A Day in the Life and While my Guitar Gently Weeps, but if you really want an experience you can't top the Abbey Road medley. It's the songs "You never give me your money" through "The End" on Abbey Road and it is really one supersong that's just an amazing journey.
Yasssss! I’m so glad you’re diving into The Beatles! 🫶🏽 You know I love your Britney and boy band vids but The Beatles (and McCartney) are my true loves (grew up in a Beatles lovin’ family.) They are still the best-selling artists of all time (and they only released music for about 7 years.) Their talent, innovation, and influence are unmatched. They have some 300 songs that cover many genres, but very few songs are alike. (Oh, and songs were short in the early 60s for radio, about 2 minutes 😉)
@@PancakeMarshmallowDude Yes! They don’t have a ton videos because of the times (tho, they were among the first to do them.) They’re mostly from their later years. However, there are a few live performances from the early days you can react to… The Ed Sullivan Show episodes, there’s an Australian concert that’s great, Blackpool Night Out and Manchester ABC. You can pull songs from those. All on TH-cam and during the height of Beatlemania (so prepare for a lot of screaming girls lol.)
Myself and my ex partner was in the pub having a drink when hey Jude came on everyone in the pub myself included were all singing the song word for word I’m a Beatles fan and so was my mum she would’ve been so happy to see you reacting to them so thank you 🙏 ❤❤
The 3 minute pop song was a result of the limitations of the technology in those days. A single, a 7 inch vinyl disk on which the sound vibrations are literally etched. was limited to about 3 minutes to keep a reasonable sound reproduction.
I was about 12-13 when I first heard the Beatles and I followed their evolution until they split up when I was in college. Years passed. When I was 36, my son was born. I wanted to sing him lullabies, but realized that I really had not learned any. So when his bedtime came, I chose as lullabies, 3 songs I knew (and could sing reasonably well) -- "Michelle," "yesterday," and "In My Life." (The latter became my favorite lullaby and love song.)
Loved your reaction to this! My suggestions would be Yesterday / Let it Be / Something / Come Together / Twist and Shout / Eleanor Rigby / Free as a Bird…I think that covers a lot of their styles!
Hi The lead singer in the first song was John Lennon, the lead singer on the second was Paul McCartney and on the last song was George Harrison and the drummer was Ringo Starr. And in Help it was John Lennon with backing by Paul and George.
Dude, the thing that makes the Beatles stand out from other bands - to me - is that they gained so much power from their immense, world-wide popularity from their ‘simpler music phase’ (‘62 - ‘65), that they were able to choose their latter music from such a wide palette! They had no one left to win over, and nothing else to prove. They had no genre, because like Steely Dan 10 years later, they used all kinds of instrumentation, and dabbled in all kinds of music. Fearless, they made transcendent music. Glad you’re dipping your toes in, because I know you’ll have to totally jump in fairly soon!
This was such fun. Please do more at some point! also it’s a fun fact to realize that they basically created the modern music video. There were some prior to them but when they decided to stop touring they came up with the idea to make videos that could tour for them.
Keep up The Beatles tunes. You'll find they don't repeat themselves. Every track is always a different sound. I suggest Hello Goodbye or Hey Bulldog, or both. You have a new subscriber.
Do yourself a HUGE favor! Listen to all the BEATLES music from the biginning to the end and their individual music after they broke up. It will change your life! Musically
Here comes the Sun is the pinnacle of George Harrison's career. After joining with John and Paul in 1958, he had finally equaled, if not surpassed his older compadres.
Those songs and videos are so cool. All 4 of them were great artists. I'm sure someone typed, Here Comes The Sun was written and sung by George. Or as you might say it, Geolge heheh. I love their accents and can somewhat mimic all 4. They all have great solo songs. But as a protest singer myself, Lennon gets my pick. I think his album Plastic Ono Band is a masterpiece
These guys had a large impact on my life. Brought me up from dark depths. You should listen to Yesterday, In My Life, and Oh Darling! Thank you for sharing your video.
Nice reaction video. It's the first one of yours that I have seen so thank you! I have loved the Beatles since I was in 3rd grade in 1964. Yeah, I'm old. Ha! You did a great job here and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Yay!!!, so happy that you’re discovering The Beatles😊. They have always been and will always be my favorite band of all time. They are truly the greatest of all time. So glad you are reacting to several videos, instead of just one. This gives you a better representation of their legendary status, but there are so much more to discover. They are also fashion icons, looking forward to you checking out their style. Love love their harmony, Ringo’s my favorite drummer, Paul is an amazing bassist, George is a fantastic lead guitarist and John is also great guitarist. I can go on and on. You can’t go wrong with choosing the next random 4 videos, I will certainly enjoy you enjoying The Beatles journey ❤
I think you are saying that you think of the beach b/c to most people the beach is paradise. If the Beatles are a beach, then it's my paradise too. I think the best examples of their works are: Eleanor Rigby; She's Leaving Home; Nowhere Man; Girl; Here, there and everywhere; In my Life; Within you, Without you. This is only to name a few. John Lennon also wrote one of the best songs ever written on his own: imagine. I even used one of their songs as my wedding song! It was perfect for our first dance.
Sorry about the lines over the music videos! I had to partially obscure the screen so this video wouldn't get blocked.
Strawberry fields forever is one of the best videos ever and better song than help
The beatles are a 60s band so don't have many music videos, they have some old ones and a few newly made ones and they are all worth reacting to. They're all great videos and legendary songs.
Here there and everywhere is so good but like Help! It's only 2 minutes long like most of their songs... especially pre 1967

🎯💯% And a lot more than that too!

I dismissed him until I realised he'd created drum rhythmn for nearly 300 songs. Some were fantastic like Rain.
Underrated by non-musicians. He's one of the greats!

He's not underrated by me and I don't think he can ever be overrated, He's a technical genius.
Not really underrated at all. He's the most critically and financially successful drummer of the 20th century.
I've heard Here Comes the Sun for 50 years and it always feels magical, like maybe a small peek to the other side.
You gotta admit: they had a fantastic sense of rhythm. You could bop your head to every one of their songs.

For example, during “Hey Jude” Paul begins to sing “Take a load off Fanny, and put the load back on me”, which, of coarse, is a line from The Band’s song “The Weight”. ☺️
Ringo is criminally under-rated as a drummer. Totally unique, sounds simple, but almost impossible to imitate convincingly.
He goes hard on Harrison's tunes I've noticed. 🤔
Except he's not really underrated. Most successful and critically acclaimed rock and roll drummer of all time. It's hard to see how you'd call him underrated.
@@Firefoxy-rz1nw I don't underrate Ringo. But lots of other people do.
Here Comes the Sun was written and sung by George Harrison. Nice that you got two by John, one by Paul and one by George. Good reactions. Thanks!
Thank you for watching!
Any Beatles song is a must….doesn’t have to be a video or a single…they are the greatest act of all time
I was just a wee thing in 1st grade and I brought in a Beatles album for show and tell. They just hit here in America as the giant stars they became. My teacher wouldn’t let me play the album. I was allowed to talk about it but that’s all. The Beatles radicalized all of us kiddies, and we’re also thankful. Hope you got a smile from this little story.
The Beatles have been one of the greatest influencers in music history and regarded as the most popular bands ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Compressed into 7 amazing years (1963-1970), The Beatles compiled an incredible body of recorded work! While the earliest work contains many gems, their spectacular growth took the world with them on an incredible ride that we still speak of 50+ years later!!
That is a good way to describe what we witnessed during those years. Yes, it was an incredible ride. Still unmatched since.
I could easily watch 10 more videos of this. They are a great, great group.
Well said ❤
😢😢😢❤
I'm ao glad you appreciate their harmonies. Often overlooked.
Paul is a great bassman.
They're so iconic
Here's some of my recommendations from the Beatles, Penny Lane, Blackbird, Yesterday, Let it be, Get back
i was 7 when I first saw them on the Ed Sullivan show back in Feb 1964.
You were into them as a 1 year old? For me as a 5 year old in '63 when Beatlemania hit it was the most incredible experience.

I was 5 when they hit Ed Sullivan…never looked back ❤️. Saw Ringo last fall.
Awesome love those Beatles tunes
I saw 'Beatles' and had to do a double take. That was the best surprise, still can't get the smile off my face. Great choice of songs, although if you decide to do more, you'll find out there are no bad choices, and every track is a brand new experience, you'll soon find out that all the hype is justified. Big 'thank you' for this Bryson. ❤
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Hearing about your smile puts a smile on my face. 😁
I've been a Beatlemaniac since I saw them on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. I raised my kids on them and now the grandkids!
Thank you so much for watching! ❤️❤️
A brilliant idea to play four songs together… great choices too. Loved your reaction.
Thank you!
John is lead vocal on 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'
My recommendations:
For earlier (ie before full-on Beatlemania) stuff, their entire live set on Swedish TV's "Drop-In" Show from 1963.
Thanks for watching, and for the info!
YES YES YES I'M SO READY FOR THIS
look at the charts and see for 7 short years the amount of music on the top 40 is amazing 1963 - 1970
I cannot overestimate the affects the Beatles had in the music scene as well as the whole world. etc.!
My youth ❤ last live performance ever from memory. John's voice is so distinctive. Ringo is a legend.
Love these suggestions! Some of my favorite slightly lesser known songs featured especially :)
I love that! Haha, thanks for watching with me! ❤️😂
these are all more of the better known songs but yeah there are so many..
If you like their harmonies, the song to check out is "Because." I think you'll love that one!
Really enjoyed this! In the “Hey Jude” video you can see Paul’s eyes keeps darting to his left, where John is, who keeps trying to break his composure by trying to him laugh lol this is live across the world ♥️
Thank you for watching! 😊
Thank you so much for watching, and for your generous support!! 😊
The Beatles rabbit hole,😂 you got me liked and subscribed!
Thanks for the info!
The greatest band of all time! You provided a good list.
Congrats on starting your Beatles Odessey! The songs you picked were later in their career, check out their live performance on the Ed Sullivan show in the early 60's. It will give you a good idea of what was happening in their early times. Great vid, bro! Really enjoyed it!
Thanks!
Hearing The Beatles brings back good memories of my parents playing there records when i was a very young lad. Thanks Bryson
💯
Keep going with the Beatles 😊I will listen to every song ❤ thanks for the fun
You need to start at the beginning of their careers as the Beatles and watch the progression of their music. You will also see how the music corresponds with the changes in the world in just a few short years.❤️
The best and most influential band in the world.
Lady Madonna
Strawberry Fields
In My Life
Day in the Life
Penny Lane
Just for starters! ❤
This is your first time and you love love it but I've been listening to the Beatles since 1964 and ever time I listen I find little things that I hadn't heard before. The more you listen the more you appreciate their genius.
The Beatles set the stage for all the rock bands to come...
Or ‘Rain’.
Oh God I love The Beatles so much! Timeless!!
"BECAUSE" is gonna make homies brain explode.
Beautiful! The Beatles are magnificent. 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps', my favorite
I love that you immediately seem to pick up on their distinct personalities and I love love LOVE that you take a moment to briefly look up what each song is about
Thank you! ❤️
Thanks for watching! I, too, love many different types of artists and genres, so I try my best to have my channel reflect that. 😊
So when his bedtime came, I chose as lullabies, 3 songs I knew (and could sing reasonably well) -- "Michelle," "yesterday," and "In My Life."
(The latter became my favorite lullaby and love song.)
Go ahead and listen, young man. It's a goldmine packed with diamonds.
Great, thak You...more Beatles❤
They’re the best ever! If you can react to Beatles videos like this even with the lines we will definitely be here for them. Thank you
Thank you for watching!
yea, doesnt matter what music taste you have, Beatles are just the best, most influential, innovative band, ever.
Loved your reaction to this! My suggestions would be Yesterday / Let it Be / Something / Come Together / Twist and Shout / Eleanor Rigby / Free as a Bird…I think that covers a lot of their styles!
That really doesn't cover a lot of their styles and some really generic picks.

@@DerekDerekDerekDerekDerekDerek The great expert has spoken!
@@kathrynhutchinson4838 I didn't say that you didn't like them... I said they don't cover many styles.
Amazing! The Beatles are my all-time favourite. ❤
Keep up The Beatles tunes. You'll find they don't repeat themselves. Every track is always a different sound. I suggest Hello Goodbye or Hey Bulldog, or both.

Do yourself a HUGE favor! Listen to all the BEATLES music from the biginning to the end and their individual music after they broke up. It will change your life! Musically
Also Something, written and sung by George.
In the "Hey Jude" video, the 'presenter' is David Frost, and the instrumental piece the Beatles start off with was the theme music of Frost's TV show.
Here comes the Sun is the pinnacle of George Harrison's career. After joining with John and Paul in 1958, he had finally equaled, if not surpassed his older compadres.
Older? One or two years? Lol😂
At the David Frost show where they played "Hey Jude they also performed "Revolution." Great live performance.
These guys had a large impact on my life. Brought me up from dark depths. You should listen to Yesterday, In My Life, and Oh Darling! Thank you for sharing your video.

Gotta love The Beatles, both for their music and how they brought people together across cultures and countries. 💕☮🕊
I recommend While My Guitar Gently Weeps, written and sung by George. The lead guitar solo is performed by Eric Clapton.
