I'm almost 54 years old and a former professional mechanic and truck driver and I don't care what anyone thinks or says about me either. I have a heart and a lot of emotions within it too... I personally believe that it takes a real man to shed a tear over his inner emotions rather than be the tough guy without any emotions at all. I've lived and learned about life and love and I'm still kickin too!
I sat down listened to this and remembered how blessed I am to still have my father in my life and appreciate all the sacrifices he has made to keep me happy
Zachary Clausen anyone you’ve ever heard of had some sort of help at some point, dude is an amazing performer has an amazing voice and does write his own shit
This song means so much to me. My grandfather is like my dad to me. The second verse gets me because I remember going through the same feelings before my first deployment and having the same conversation with him.
Follow it up with "Beer Never Broke My Heart." (also by Luke Combs) That will cheer you up. Loving the musical journey so far! Best wishes from the US!!
This song, as a country fan since I was 3 years old(I’m 38 now) is so good. I cry or feel like I could cry every time I hear this! Plus I lost my dad a year and a half ago. It hits different
More often than not country music is about home heart and soul, which anyone can relate to in their own way; often sad but beautiful (e.g. Brooks & Dunn "Believe" or Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss "Whiskey Lullaby"). For some upbeat suggestions check out Tim McGraw "Humble and Kind", the version with Oprah's video clips rather than the live version, and Luke Bryan "Most People Are Good". Your reactions are great Gitana!
Thank you so so much . I love doing this and I love to open up to new things and new people . I’m so glad I did these reactions more and more people are enjoying it . That being said it’s not a game of numbers for me . But huge thank you and welcome to my subscribers 💓
@@GitanaAdelle While the effort need not be a numbers game no doubt having more people enjoy your creations must be gratifying (I'm not a content creator, yet, so that's a guess). While you are probably feeling a bit overwhelmed by opportunities and suggestions as you delve into this new and very popular genre let me suggest another avenue you might like to explore at some point. “I am not a crier” flash forward 3 months and almost every country reaction has tears to some degree lol. I’m loving these. Just discovered your channel yesterday.
Never apologize for crying! ;) I am a 50yr old southern biker from Tennessee and that song does a number on me too. I will admit proudly that watching you react to the song made me react the same. I thank you for the cleansing tears! I didn't grow up on country, I was a metal head. As I got older and the lyrics of country sank in, I started listening to more of it. I grew up on my dad's 50's-60's rock. I would so love to make some suggestions in those two genres. Thank you again and, Much Love and Peace!
I don't know if you are familiar with some of these, but I will give you three songs I grew up on. These are three that my dad loved and I still love this music today. Righteous Brothers : You got that loving feeling Simon and Garfunkel : Bridge over troubled water The Animals : House of the rising sun The last one is a bit heavier than the first two, but the ones he listened to like that, I think led me to be the metal head I became.
Beautiful reaction. I love my dad even though we bumped heads, but he was there for me. Now I'm a dad myself and love my kids and I will give my life for them.
Just subscribed to your reactions so far your doing a great job I'm a country fan but I like classic rock, Southern rock, folk rock songs I am someone who came up in the 60s oh your crying that means that Luke did his job that is country music
I love this reaction , this song literally hits everyone i do not csre who you are and this helped me a lot when i was going through a hard time with a break up , trying to explain too my 3 beautiful babies that i will always be there even though im not leaving and they have learnt to deal with it easier now thank fully. Its a shame how kids are in the middle of a break up really but they are so precious ❤❤❤
It really is hard on the kids! They are the ones who just need to feel like everything is going to be ok and they are loved. I’m sure they know daddy’s not going anywhere. Sending love 🧡
Even though I'm leaving Im not going anywhere I'm in your heart close your eyes say a prayer and I'll be right there by your side cause I love you and love never dies! Truth God bless you and keep you safe 🙏
I just found your channel. I love your reactions. I’m a huge country fan, and not your typical country fan. The reason is that almost every song tells a story of life and living, unlike other genres of music. It connects you on a personal level w/ the song. It’s great.
Luke Combs. He's from North Carolina. Has set the country music would on fire since he came out. One of the best song writers and singers in country music.
I lost my dad out of nowhere last July. I'm a 40 year old man that did 18 years in the military and 5 deployments to combat zones, but I still cry like a baby sometimes when I think of him being gone.
Albert Hart I sure do have him on my list and I have some ready to fire 🤪 thank you 🙏🏻 trying to balance it with my other stories etc . I always value your recommendations 💕 stay safe
Incredible reaction, your truly showing your emotions, that's what reactions are all about. Music touches are souls. My cousin passed away last week, she was just 46, i think about her husband and daughter when I hear this..
I love all your reactions, and your content. From Aaron Lewis to Luke Combs, and as you say, (as a Brit, you should have been born here) you are more patriotic than most of my fellow Americans, and I appreciate all you do. I love you guys!
I like reactions that just listen straight through, I have always loved music and how it connects to everyone in a different way. I also hate when someone interrupts a song, just listen, then when it's over talk! Hope all is well with you and yours. East coast US here.
Luke Combs is from my home state & his hometown is about 1&1/2- 2 hrs from mine. He is an awesome artist. I lost my daddy a little over 4 years ago. Every time I hear this one, it gets me. Appreciate & tell loved ones how much you love your loved ones every chance you get.
Yes ma'am this is personal sinse I lost my dad at an early age..I wish he didn't have to go cause there are days I get scared going through life alone! Thank you for playing this song
After watching so many of your reactions, well, I just had to subscribe. I love your reactions. And keep up with the Country music!! Oh, and I love you Brits.
For some old school country I recommend George Jones - He Stopped Loving Her Today, Patsy Cline - I fall to pieces and/or Crazy. And if you can make it through either Jason Michael Carroll - Alyssa Lies or Martina McBride - Concrete Angel without tearing up I will be very surprised. If you want something a little more upbeat Sturgill Simpson - You can have the crown or Home Free and Oak Ridge Boys - Elvira.
That was a very heartfelt reaction. I hadn't heard the song either, so we were both getting hit right in the "feels." Thank you for reacting to this. I love your channel.
I lost my father a couple of months before I was born to an electrical accident. This song has exceptional value for me because I never got to know my dad. I never knew what it was like to have my dad leave.
I totally agree with you about talking through the song or even pausing it, cuz a lot of times when they pause it, I'm like "No! This is the best part!" Like they'll be listening to tennessee whiskey and pause it right before he goes "You're as wa-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-arm as a glass of brandy" and I'm like "Noooooooo!"
I 100% believe you when you say you aren't a crier, because neither am I. I typically dont really cry during sad movies, or anything that is fictional and I know isn't real. And this is the first time in a long time a song truly made me tear up. I both love and hate listening to it, because I always said that the day my father leaves, will be the end of the world. And this was always a thought, but after my uncle passed away (was very close to him, and the death was very unexpected) it just reminded me of all of the people in my life that I will have to see go. My mother, my father, my grandmother, those are just days that I have always dreaded, but now it is something that is on my mind everyday. I know it isn't healthy to have those negative thoughts on your mind constantly, but they are. And they have been for the past 7-8 months. This song just hits that cord for me. I think the reason for that is because when my father talks about his eventual death that is what he will tell me. The song is amazing, best country song that has came out in awhile in my opinion, probably my favorite (and at the same time least favorite) luke combs song. Sorry rant over.
Don’t worry honey your not the only one crying 😢 good tune love me some Luke and there are so many more country songs that will bring you to tears watch out

Don't forget he v had help

Zachary Clausen Fr tho he had Ryan Upchurchs help
