These look pretty nice for working with audio. I've been in a smaller space for the past year and had to sell my JBL monitors and have been using studio headphones, which have been good for mixing work and really focused critical listening, but do get uncomfortable after extended usage.
Im testing these now, they are good value for money only really falling short in the clarity department for dialogue in movies with a lot of ambient sounds going on, then they tend to loose seperation and squash it all together making sounds that shouldn't be loud really noticeable. They are certainly better than most sound bars which have simply abysmal clarity usually and that white minimal look makes them pretty well the only option in the price range to suit your basic white modern apartment nowadays. If they only were a bit more powerful with a bit less distortion for a bit more money and took off the tacky name tag on the front they would make everything else even close to the price irrelevent but for pc use at 1 meter away there is a LOT worse on the market.

Great studio monitors at a very affordable price! Since they're narrow field, don't forget to raise them up about 5" to get the bass effect if you're sitting down. Flat on a desktop the bass will stay below your ear level and go right by you! No BluTooth to lag your signal either!
I ended up buying Presonus Eris 4.5 BT, because of the larger size, looks and bluetooth option, so I am not limited with the wire, if I decide to go with smaller speakers at some point for my PC and use these elsewhere with my phone or something. When I first got them they sounded a bit aggressive compared to my previous speakers. I think I was kind of disappointed with the quality, I though that I could hear more difference to my old cheap pc speakers, but the main difference was this aggressive sound. They were not boomy though. Speech is really clear and it just gets better if you increase the volume, unlike with my previous speakers. For music, I think I would want more color to the sound somehow. Although, I am really inexperienced with speakers, so I didn't even know what to look for. I am not usually impressed by the speakers anyway. One thing I noticed is that I started to like the sound of my sony headphones more when I got these speakers. I was thinkin that could it be because I don't like the sound of these speakers as much I did like the sound of my previous speakers. Although, I got a newer version of bluetooth at the same time, that may have also made some difference. I think the speakers look good and I think I am kind of happy with my purchase. No hissing sound or anything like that. I wish I could compare them with other speakers, because I think that is the only way I could hear the difference. I am thinking, if I should have gone with eris E5, because my speaker stands have space for them also. But they are more expensive and I like to have the power switch in the front of the speaker. I eventually skipped edifiers, because I got a feeling that it may be even more over hyped than presonus. I would like to try edifier bookshelf speakers and compare, if thouse would give the color I may miss with these ones. They may become more boomy though. @@fiudad
