Hey, Found this video through dwellers' video, and as someone who has an interest in Transit Maps and Map Design... I hate it with a passion. If they were going for the "spaghetti because it will be interesting" then they need to hire experts because it's a monstrosity. When I was first shown the images of the maps I went on a big fat rant to that person. There's somewhat an unwritten rule with transit maps where even if they look geographically inaccurate, they still have to be a "simplified" accuracy to where it's close to what it looks like on a real map. As well, Much like the Tube Map, New York Subway Map, A map of the Paris Metro or even a map of Chiltern Railways, There maps are easy to navigate and memorable and so good you can get from a 2 b easily. What I loved about the old map was that it had a clear and memorable design, when I thought of SCR, one of the things I thought was the map. If this was real passenger service, They would have never done anything like it considering a massive backlash would ensue and you would get several groups going after HR. I would love to hear what Charlie and the Managers reasons are for making this change and wish they would talk with the community more about this. My hope is for a revert to the old map with the update. There was no need for this map change.

1. The managers have absolutely nothing to do with this. 2. This was just a simple mistake by tpx_jm, there already is a much better version. There really was no need to hate him so much
I already see the 6-year-old kids expanding Connect to Connolly, Waterline to Willowfield, Airlink to Stepford Victoria via Willowfield and *cries* Express to New Harrow. (Oh wait, Express will create a loop by extending between St. Helens Bridge and Newry Harbour + forming a triangle between Beaulieu Park and Morganstown Docks)
the thing I hate most is that Whitney Green and Greenslade are shown inbetween the Benton and Morganstown lines, when in reality they are past the Morganstown line
I officially quit SCR due to 1.9. The developers went to hell with Express to Newry Harbour, defeating the purpose of “Stepford” Express, they ruined Waterline, and the 195 and connect??? Worthless. But I still watch the videos like this people make :)
there is a unwritten issue with express, some people criticised Express being a "FAST CONNECT" reputation, and because of this, they extend express to newry harbour because of the criticism
I like the map as it looks more realistic to real life but it looks more confusing and “really not the best” it could be improved, also my boy waterline was destroyed. It could look a lot better, me and the map have a love hate relationship
I agree with the waterline bit, but i dont really think thats its more realistic because i dont really think that places like newry and stepford central are that close
the main things I hate about it is that it doesn't face north everything looks so messy round benton the benton area is so messy i cant even look anywhere else on the map my eyes just keep getting distracted by benton
The new map looks really messy, and it's have totally wrong geographical location In real life the Route map follow the relative position, but it also follows geographical location.
The old map has been in the game since 1.0 it completely geographical inaccurate and makes its it so every thing to the left of Hampton hargate look too close together
Well it's like this how express go to newry Express Manager: hey waterline add express to newry. I'll pay you 1billion $ Waterline: umm sure but i don't think it'll be good
i dont 100% like this 1.9 update as well.... Not just the map but the stupid eden transform accompany with a nonsense express to newry anddmorganstown, in terms of transportation management, this is terrible, the main role of express is as a quick point to point, connect+waterline connects nearby peoples, scr was originally really good managed on that with different operators operating different roles, but, not anymore, it used to be the Benton main line as the backbone of the whole system and waterline as as i branch up for residents, an express hav no point of it as it is not the role of express, also, if they want speed services in waterline, they shd have refer back to the japanese metro system, with rapid trains that does not stop at all stations but using the same operator, eg. Waterline rapid services to Newry. Some scenery and events updates i quite like it, but not the express extension and the eden rebuild and the map. Recents updates of scr started to be doing a bit of nonsense things instead of trying to get in some new connect lines or new waterlines.

Stepford Central is more Stepford SouthWest, I think the Benton area holds the title Stepford Central at this point
1.10s map is minorly inaccurate as the greenslade line is BELOW the AL,CN AND EX tracks but the map ssys its ontop
