@@Scoots1994 The slime were adding plus five anytime they slimed a peg, refreshed the board like crazy which gave a ton of Spinesse & Muscircle AND was healing him. It was doing crazy work!
@@DarkSoulX10 I think Pancakeli is right though. Tom just got obsessed with LOTS O' BOMB FUN! If he did it again but kept the potions they may have done enough for his health to go with the red bombs and survive :)
@@DarkSoulX10 The Potion Ballt was also actually doing some incidental damage, as well, via the Poison Slimed pegs. Not as much damage as bombs, but still doing some targeted damage.
I respect the deletion of the Orbouros, as it would definitely have trivialized the run with how it worked with the slime ball thing. You also almost killed yourself near the end because you got so used to the auto healing from the heal slimes that you weren't doing post battle healing near the end! But you clutched it and won with an insane build and that was just plain awesome to watch!
The spinventor has to be my favourite character. There are no downsides, and it buffs every ball. Also, maybe Tom will finally understand the greatness of the Potion Ballt?! If you have some or all of the good slime, the infernal ingot, the cape thing, and the refilibuster, it is devastating and keeps you alive forever. Edit: aaaand, he sold it.... fucks sake. Edit 2: aaaand he refuses to heal after fights after selling his only source of healing...
ikr, and after he removed it, he was confused at why his other orbs were now dealing less damage without all the buffs and the huge amount of refreshes (which gave him spinesse and muscircle) he was getting from the slime. i feel like sometimes he gets too obsessed with removing orbs. i do get that he wants the runs to have a theme, but sometimes the removals hurt the deck in my opinion. Still love the videos and all the crazy builds though!
He also skipped the healing salve which makes potion balt actually a full heal every time you use it, and with the good slime, cranks up most of your boards damage too.
always love a peglin video but I really loved this one. it felt like the old days of peglin before they added the status effects and it felt a lot more whacky
The Assemball? It's actually also pretty solid with the Spinventor, since it buffs itself, buffs pegs, and slimes pegs (which then get buffed by the slime relic that is the Spinventor's bread and butter). Not to mention that it attacks all enemies, which is always nice.
Once did a refresh build with the pegs have a chance to refresh into bombs relic, plus the bombs detonate in one hit relic AND Durable pegs. Twas a nuclear bomb that.
He bought the second Summoning Circle at 8:45. The "nerf" he was talking about was probably fewer instances of Muscircle and Spinesse since he got rid of Potion Ballt and was no longer refreshing outta control. He also pointed out the base damage (of 4 iirc) of it a little later when he had 4 Muscircle.
I mean, if you really want to do the all-bombs setup as a custom-start, then try the all-brown seed... every relic you're offered, and most of the orbs, are all bomb-related.
No, that wasn't it. The Spinventor relic cares about unique orbs in your satchel, it doesn't matter what you're firing. The "nerf" was most likely fewer instances of muscircle and spinesse from the one relic due to many fewer refreshes via the removal of Potion Ballt. Summoning Circle + Potion Ballt creates so many orbs that its getting constant refreshes, and every 4 refreshes were buffing him. No Potion Ballt meant nowhere near as many refreshes.
Bob and Potion buff the board, Summoning Circle is your multiplier, and Orboros is your finisher. 💣🧪🐍 13:00 You wouldn't?! Orboros is your highest damage dealing orb and you're getting rid of it?! 😳😞
My guess would be that there were so many orbs that the game lagged so hard that it couldn't relocate the refresh pegs quick enough. Kinda like how when excessive Multiballs or excessive bombs cause the game audio to completely stop for a few seconds. But that's only a guess.
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1755 Oh wow, what a build indeed XD I was sure things would go down kill once either the Orboros and Slimes where dropped, but it would seem not XD You know, I've never seen the board be completely wiped of pegs, until now I was really worried about the point that Bombs don't refresh, without the relic, as we have seen just that happen on the past. But, Tom made it :D Oooo, ok, that ending test run was pretty cool, and amazing with the perfect selection. But God damn, 6 health, XD ha ha
I don't believe that would work, no. Iirc, Morbid makes popped pegs still contribute to damage. But Bob-Orb and the the various turn-pegs-into-bombs relics turn pegs into bombs which then disappear completely after exploding (unless you have the refreshable bombs relic). Like the Ohmygorb!!, the pegs are destroyed and are no longer there, so they wouldn't (or at least shouldn't) contribute to damage.
dude almost threw by removing big damage and infinite healing because he likes to stick to a theme. well i suppose you could call that the yogscast guarantee
Popping Corn would be a slow death with a net loss of 1 hp for every 30 pegs hit. Infernal Ingot alone would doubly outpace that self-damage relic he picked up.
D-did you actually watch the video? He didn't "post a loss". The "death" at the end was him messing around with a custom starting build to science out a more ideal build than what he won with and intentionally taking a relic that he KNEW would kill him because he thought it would be hilarious (which it was).
Oroboros is completely and utterly overpowered at lvl.3, it can completely solo the game mostly alone (idealy with a bit of help from orbs like doctorb)
11:47 Did y ou have so many balls that you removed everything from the board meaning the refresh could not move causing the board to be empty... But due to your refresh ability it killed something allowing a refresh. If so: Would that have been a stalemate xD

Listening to Tom talk about how much he loves Peglin is the best second monitor content.
I absolutely love the joy in Tom's voice in this video - he's played the heck outta this game but it'll still get him belly laughing and cursing.

This is a pervert's amount of Bombs, Tom... and the potions are just obscene.
8:42 A second Summoning Circle has hit the deck.
Here's to a _wooœp-ing_ good time with more Peglin!
"If I keep Orboros, it will just become an orboros run."
Pretending as if almost every of Tom's runs doesn't become a multiball run.
Bam! Love a nice bomb build, who needs pierce when everything is the target, Bada-BANG Baby!
Seeing the mega multi ball slime was so fun, I'd like to see to try to make that build work with that multi slime potion
I love the extra bit at the end of exploring the ultimate version of the build. Would love to see it as a regular feature when it makes sense.

that was hilarious 😂😂
The bomber build is pretty powerful, definitely more powerful than the suicide bomber build from the end lol.
Tom, you stopped upgrading pegs when you removed the slime ball, so the summoning circle was then 2-0
Well, the main thing was that he wasn't refreshing as much, so he wasn't getting as many procs of muscircle and spinesse from the one relic.
Love the jokes at the end! 😆
Yay silly bomb builds!
Who up pegging they glin
WOOOOOOOOOOO NEW PEGLIN !!!!!!

Genuinely didn't know about the workaround with Potion Ballt and Orboros with echo damage, so good!
You're goofy giggles at the end we're just pure joy 😂
Hilarious run.
I'd love to see a run with that Voltron orb where you combine a bunch of bits into one super orb.

Interesting how the second bomb-ball fired backwards by the chains creates a bomb with it's sprite reversed
the bonus round was fun to see!
Once did a refresh build with the pegs have a chance to refresh into bombs relic, plus the bombs detonate in one hit relic AND Durable pegs. Twas a nuclear bomb that.
20:56 the relic you start withe only works to orbs you have 1 of, so when you took the second one the buff no longer apply. :D

I never once thought about using the strange portal that you get the Orbaborus from as a way to remove all of your orbs it's a wonderful strat.
That ending cracked me up
I mean, if you really want to do the all-bombs setup as a custom-start, then try the all-brown seed... every relic you're offered, and most of the orbs, are all bomb-related.
When the summoning circle is copying only a summoning circle you're not getting the unique orb buff from Spinventor, that was the "nerf" at 21:00
