The towers she buffs are strong enough that she can't really ever be bottom tier. A good way to think of her is the Chimp Mode's version of ben. Also she gets some of the best overclock returns in the game.
imo i havent done much with her, but she doesnt seem too good, but the discount she gives to aces and helis is nice, however i dont feel like giving up my hero slot for her over ben or the newly buffed churchill

@@destroythingTo be fair, while I do enjoy the fact that he shoot slower but deal more damage per shot, they didnt consider that shooting slower in a small time frame does make total dps way worse although the theory dps is still the same (minus external damage buff) and also overdamage a small bloon will waste a high damage shot which mean more reload time, so yes, Churchill is worse than before, so I suggest increase the damage per shot more, like x1.5, and make the tank moveable, that would make churchill enjoyable
I've never used her because it feels like theres a better hero for any situation and and its too high effort to switch the weapons and her location to respond to the bloons

Her level 20 is incredibly gimmicky and it makes no sense specially when you take into account her XP requirements. Her level 20 should be moved to like level 17 at the most, and given an actual level 20 ability. One I think would be really powerful is giving her the Etienne treatment and making her flight permanent while using the lvl 3 ability gives you a big boost like Etienne's UCAV.

I would probably use the level 7 ability a lot more often. The uptime gets better as she levels up, and by level 20, it's close to 100%. I'm pretty sure it actually is 100% at level 20 with a 5xx sub. She is twice as stronger with it active, so I use it a lot.
Swap her tech terror reduction with a price reduction for spike and engis, but put it at lvl 13/14 or smth. And then her lvl 20 can apply a +1 pierce and dmg buff to the heli/plane/spactory/engi
Personally I think she's fun since I want micro in a hero but I didn't like the micro of the other two. I just wish they made the micro more rewarding.

An easy fix would be to remove the micromanagement weapon swap, have her gain duel wielding early (like level 3 or 5) and bump all the attack buffs to later levels. But a more interesting option would be to give her permanent movement at max level, using either the plane &/or helicopter movement modes.
She honestly doesn’t even require that much micro. She definitely requires some, but my biggest problem is that her most interesting feature, being able to move her around, is almost always less than useless
I feel like a fun buff for the Tsar Bomba would be to make it *constantly* drop its carpet bombs, or drop two rows of bombs at once instead of just one I think it's a super super fun and interesting tower and the carpet bombs are surprisingly effective in terms of damage, but the tier 5 just isn't quiiite reliable enough in that damage and relies heavily on its ability
I think default rate of attack for Bomber Ace, etc. could simply be improved, to 1.4s for Bomber Ace and Ground Zero and 1s for Tsar Bomba, and the Top 2 crosspath (Lots More Darts) could add 1 bomb per run to Bomber Ace, etc. as well. That would be helpful to Tsar Bomba.
Even before the 5% additional cost reduction, for any single lane chimps maps, she does very strongly with pushing out a 5/2/0 and 2/0/5, helicopters supported by a 2/3/0 monkey village. Only startup units I use are 3 0/0/0 dart monkeys and a 0/2/2 sniper. Just don't buy the helicopters and upgrades until she gets the discount.
Tbh, the super discount should be a big plane discount instead(xp adjusted to actually be possible to reach it reasonably). If she made the flying fortress in chimps 60-70k it would fit her better as a character. And be a good strategy.
Rosalia's big problem, IMO, is she's a hero that requires a lot of micromanagement to use but doesn't repay that with power. With the level of focus required to use Rosalia well, constantly swapping her weapon and repositioning her, she just doesn't pay that off at all. Compare to any other damage/support heroes like Stryker or Obyn or Gwyn, they all take way less focus and will hold the line about as well all while providing better support. She needs faster levelling like everyone else has already said, but also just more damage or less micro. Like if she could perma-fly more easily at higher levels so her amount of micro went down to 0 at later stages that would maybe be better.
My favorite hero is Benjamin and I prefer a more passive playstyle when I play BTD and I actually really like Rosalia. I don't even micro her all that much. I mostly use her for her discounts and laser. I just think she's cute and fun.

Its worth emphasizing that BTD6 Tier list is CHIMPS-only (hence, Benjamin dead last). Also, on that graph, Rosalia is ranked pretty much equivalent to Etienne and Quincey who are both very solid. Heroes are overall in a great place right now. Even the "worst" ones are still good. I wouldn't expect the changes to move her higher than "B".
I feel like you need to micro her for her to be on par with other heroes. But if you micro lets say Corvus, you are rewarded with an OP tower. Its just too much hassel too little reward to use her

Etienne at B- is bull too. Yeah he's slow at the start but Globo Camo is a massive buff to Military and most Magic path builds. He levels up on the pace of the original heros, and he has the only permanent Level 20 effect.

Without it capitalizing upon the Embrittlement I was using, the DDTs punch through. Etienne is not powerless past Round 85 when what he does have to work with does still let him score Camo Flying Fortress on OTC CHIMPS. If Psi can say that much instead of being undermined too horribly by DDTs, fire away, but I assure you that this still shows that Etienne has plenty of leg room for what to come up with for key problems.

Then again, this week I've been running just Obyn and Druids. Only. (if I can avoid making anything else). Druids 10/10 better than snipers.
I think being a strong hero is not really what she's made for. She is maybe the easiest hero that requires micro, so i see her more so as the beginners introduction to micro, if you've never done micro, you can't really start with Corvus or Geraldo. If she was very strong, she would be an easy pick for better players. She's a stepping stone, that's what she's good for.
@destroything Maybe he doesn't require much micro, but I'd say for someone really new to the game, he's extremely overwhelming. You're used to just placing a hero, forgetting about them and them doing their thing. You can't just place Geraldo and expect him to do something, same with Corvus.

If a hero requires micro - they MUST be stronger than heroes that do not require micro. Otherwise they are literal doo doo. Like look at Corvus. Corvus can ALMOST solo chimps - and people still avoid playing him because of how much micro it requires. If people don't want to use the second strongest hero in the game because of micro, why would they want to use a below average hero and micro?
@RancorSnp That's what im saying, micro heroes are by definition stronger, but you can't jump from Gwen to Corvus, you need a character with some micro, so that you can get used to it. She requires a lot less micro than Corvus, so making her really strong, would make her a character that uses a bit of micro and is better than all non-micro heroes. So why would anyone play the non-micro heroes, cause Rosalia would be way stronger, but not that much harder, and why would you play a much harder character, when there is an easier micro character that is a bit weaker?
I imagine a hero that buffs bloons (speed, moab and ceram health, add fortified/ camo) and debuffs towes, but then generates a lot of money. Like they are actively making things worse for you, but then bribing you to keep them around.

I made a response to this with an Axis of Aces run, and I ended off with more money at the end of Round 100 than what you had. Thank you for the Easter Egg stuff; it actually helped me in maximizing Rosalia's efficiency via better corner placement to cover everything I could want between easier blimp shooting, easier entering bloon shooting in general, and ESPECIALLY vertical distance placement for the Aces to maximize their Village support. Rosalia still should get some buffs, but she can at least get some stuff going. She just needs to be more capable of healthy expression.

Without it capitalizing upon the Embrittlement I was using, the DDTs punch through. Etienne is not powerless past Round 85 when what he does have to work with does still let him score Camo Flying Fortress on OTC CHIMPS. If Psi can say that much instead of being undermined too horribly by DDTs, fire away, but I assure you that this still shows that Etienne has plenty of leg room for what to come up with for key problems.
@@TectalchameleonJamaa Okay, I will concede Etienne does only give: beating the earliest Camo rounds, free Camo detection for everyone a bit later, and then ultimate bombing runs too late in the game.
Still, that reliable Camo detection frees up every other tower from having to spec into CamoD paths just because of the CamoD and locking out better stuff, which is what I like most.
Then again, this week I've been running just Obyn and Druids. Only. (if I can avoid making anything else). Druids 10/10 better than snipers.

I think being a strong hero is not really what she's made for. She is maybe the easiest hero that requires micro, so i see her more so as the beginners introduction to micro, if you've never done micro, you can't really start with Corvus or Geraldo. If she was very strong, she would be an easy pick for better players. She's a stepping stone, that's what she's good for.
Kind of a bad excuse. Geraldo hardly requires much micro and he's still quite good. You don't have to make a bad hero to make a good stepping stone
@destroything Maybe he doesn't require much micro, but I'd say for someone really new to the game, he's extremely overwhelming. You're used to just placing a hero, forgetting about them and them doing their thing. You can't just place Geraldo and expect him to do something, same with Corvus.
@@pocketglove I'd say obyn and gwen are the most place-and-forget heroes. The rest rely a lot on their abilities. Rosa is definitely far from a hero you can just leave be
If a hero requires micro - they MUST be stronger than heroes that do not require micro. Otherwise they are literal doo doo. Like look at Corvus. Corvus can ALMOST solo chimps - and people still avoid playing him because of how much micro it requires. If people don't want to use the second strongest hero in the game because of micro, why would they want to use a below average hero and micro?
@RancorSnp That's what im saying, micro heroes are by definition stronger, but you can't jump from Gwen to Corvus, you need a character with some micro, so that you can get used to it. She requires a lot less micro than Corvus, so making her really strong, would make her a character that uses a bit of micro and is better than all non-micro heroes. So why would anyone play the non-micro heroes, cause Rosalia would be way stronger, but not that much harder, and why would you play a much harder character, when there is an easier micro character that is a bit weaker?

Imagine if they made a hero who not only isn't good, but is actually helping the bloons.
I imagine a hero that buffs bloons (speed, moab and ceram health, add fortified/ camo) and debuffs towes, but then generates a lot of money. Like they are actively making things worse for you, but then bribing you to keep them around.

I made a response to this with an Axis of Aces run, and I ended off with more money at the end of Round 100 than what you had. Thank you for the Easter Egg stuff; it actually helped me in maximizing Rosalia's efficiency via better corner placement to cover everything I could want between easier blimp shooting, easier entering bloon shooting in general, and ESPECIALLY vertical distance placement for the Aces to maximize their Village support.
Rosalia still should get some buffs, but she can at least get some stuff going. She just needs to be more capable of healthy expression.
Rosalia can't be one of the worst heroes if she can lets you get one of the most expensive and strongest towers in BTD6... in CHIMPS.
If she gets to lvl 20 in CHIMPS which isnt very likely

@@belakis822 @belakis822 Churchill still has some solid viability on straight line maps, and some valid usage on muddles too. And it's actually the opposite, I started playing a LONG time ago, when he was one of the best heroes, so there is done bias in that

If you use low tier towers and still win it makes you more skilled because it shows you don't need good towers to win.

yeah there's a funny strategy with her on muddy where you can save up for FF. You could also do the same for Infernal and Dark Castle. But you can also make a strategy work for nearly any other hero on those maps.
