It is a real joy to see two people so in love and compatible enjoying their lives together with their beloved puppies! I envy you that, and I'm sure you know how rare a love you share! Cherish it always, and enjoy every adventure that Life brings you! God bless you both, and thanks for bringing us to the magical town of Salem!
Thank you so much for doing Salem justice!! So many people sensationalize it. In so many ways it was such a tragic part of history!!! Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. So much to see and do!!!
I was born and raised in Salem. My parents owned a diner in the downtown area for almost 30 years. I’m sad to see that the city has lost its mom and pop feel. It’s been taken over by corporate franchises and huge luxury condo complexes. It’s also a commuter city with a train station so a lot of people moved there in the last decade that work in Boston. I’m sure things like this have been going on for a long time all over the country but it’s sad for me every time I go back to visit my mother 😞
So happy to see these smiling faces back on the Tube! Missed ya! Prayers healing and new found travels are pushing you forward and enjoying all this journey has to offer. 🙂👍
Awesome! We'll have several weeks of upcoming episodes from Maine and hopefully you'll get plenty of ideas. 😎 Glad you're along for the journey! 👍 -Howard
I'm not sure why TH-cam recommended this video, but I'm so glad it did. I got to watch you both enjoy the city I was born and raised in. It has so much to offer besides its witch history. I actually worked at Winter Island for 6 years, when I was a teen, checking in campers. I was overcome with nostalgia watching your video. I hope your trip was all you imagined it would be and more!
Tania, glad to hear of this happy accident! We loved our time in Salem and hope to return soon and explore more of the area. Hearing from people who are from a place we visit is icing on the cake for us! Hope you'll continue on the journey. 👍 -Howard

Shana and I are a o glad to see you guys tonight! Glad to see you y’all back on the road. Y’all have been in our prayers. I loved traveling the extreme northeast of our country about 10 years ago to MA and ME and all points in between. It is a beautiful part of our great country!

Rena, there's definitely a lot of recent change based on the construction and recent architecture in Salem! Glad we could help take you down memory lane for a while. Thanks for watching!👍 -Howard
Samuel Wardwell on the end and one of the few men that died at the Salem witch trials is the 5x great grandfather of actor Scott Foley. We saw it, when he was on Who Do You Think You Are.? I thought Howard would like that tidbit of trivia, since he is from a cinematography background. Great video! Glad to see you back!
Two weeks is still a lot of time to see and do things! 🤣 What area are you in? You can send us an email or message on Instagram and we can give you some recommendations!
Aaah, Salem! I have read about it once in an article but only when I watched your video that I now wanted to visit! Thanks for sharing this, I love it! I always think that travels are made easier when you have the best travel gears and essentials too. The bento bag from Nomad Lane is my best carry-on bag for destinations like this one.Thought I'd share it to you guys too!
Going to New Hampshire in September, then to Canada (and thanks to you two, stopping at Niagara) then back to Detroit. But making stops at PA, Maryland, and Ben and Jerry's factory before crossing into Canada. Always love the history of places you go.
Awesome!! So glad you'll be fitting in a stop at Niagara too! We just drove through Vermont and stopped at Ben & Jerry's. They just started doing their tours again!

Great tour of Salem. I just visited the town and I have to say, it is probably better to see it in the summer than the fall. There was already tons of people and it is not even October yet.
So nice to see you posting your travels again. This was so interesting. I’ve never been to Salem and you gave a great peek at what it’s all about. Take care and enjoy.
Love seeing you travel again! But Howard, your ice cream choices? 😳 I’m going with Katelyn’s ice cream. So cool to see this & hear about your upcoming videos. We are heading to Maine (from the West Coast) for a wedding in late September.
So excited to see you back on the road again! Salem is an interesting town but I’m really looking forward to your Maine series. The Lobster 🦞 feast looked fantastic!
