I've just started building the Meng Magach 6B Batash. I've been struggling with those tracks, as every time I touch them, they fall apart. I think once assembled, I'm going to glue them together.
Those items, you describeas control arms, are in fact the shock absorbers, only fitted to the front two axles either side. those springs, only one on the model, on the real thing there are three, preparing them for replacement was not an enviable task.. a new track consisted of 96 links per side, sometimes when new 97 would be fitted. In the course of use links would be removed, at 92 per side the drive sprocket teeth ring would be changed, rinse wash and repeat down to 88, then a new track would be fitted, and a return to a standard drive sprocket ring.
Me g are great when new release and the plastic is grey colour. When the kits get older they use dark green almost black plastic and it's awful. Look in a few boxes and see the plastic variations

Amazing video, I am currently building this kit and I gotta say it’s the best moulding I’ve seen.

Good video. I've made the takom chieftain so was keen to see how the MENG kit compared. Really nice build
Thanks, I've heard of the takom one but was very interested in the unique tracks on this kit.

Good to know, I've only ever built the more recent meng kits.
Yeah, first batch is grey Plastic then soon after cheap plastic is used, so even a recent kit can have crap plastic
Why did you talk all the way through this video?
