Hi I think it's important for SW's to have an awareness of advice and signposting they can give to people who are struggling in the economic climate and help where needed for people to maximise their income. I personally try and keep abreast of information about benefits people are entitled to or agencies where people can get this information. Also, I work in adults services and where people are cancelling care due to challenges around costs due to the economic climate we are giving advice and support around this.
