Che spettacolo il Bernina e la Ferrovia Retica con tutta quella massa enorme di neve! Meravigliosa la notte e l'alba; vedo che il primo spazzaneve in arrivo all'Alp Grüm ti ha inondato di neve!! Bellissime le operazioni di sgombero della ferrovia dalla neve da parte del mitico ed unico spazzaneve a vapore: una meraviglia della tecnica utilissimo sempre a quanro è dato vedere! Un video da antologia: UP e Preferiti. Grazie. Gian :-)

Beautiful operations of clearing snow from railroad by the legendary and unique snowplow steam: a marvel of technology always useful to see what is given! A video anthology: UP and Favorites. +KlunkerRider That's no problem because another train will blow it back, and so on. This is to prevent unemployment in times of climate warming. The same basic idea is behind the man shovelling snow on the tracks at 3:55. ;-)
I find it amusing that all the German and Swiss in Italian commenters speak to the brilliance of the recording and all the English speakers poke fun at the fact that the snow is being moved in one direction or the other. What a bunch of haters we are! Small wonder the European Union holds the USA in such disregard. What’s wrong with just enjoying the beauty of the film without throwing shade??

I am English, born the year of the Land Rover, British Railways and the National Health Service, I was born in the Royal Borough of Windsor, which is in the Royal County of Berkshire, England, United Kingdom, The British Isles. I have been a Fan of Switzerland for much of my life. The Rhátische Bahn and what was the Furka Oberalp Bahn, are my favourite railways of all time. Now we find ourselves outside of the EU, we don't feel too chilly, because Switzerland is no longer impressed with the EUSSR and that is Official Now! The Swiss Government, are making moves to become closer to the UK, Swiss Cheese, Mountain Horns and William Tell, have essences of what the British Isles is made of, now Official, the worlds top Geologists, agree now, that Blighty has the oldest rocks in the world. So you could say, this is where it all started, and this is where it all will damn well End! Oh, didn't we invent the railways, I'm sure we did, even sold the idea to those Bavarians, Stephenson of course, but we love to share railway idea's to the lovely people of Switzerland, everyone else, can start paying us large amounts of love, finance and appreciation, Goodbye :)
