I'm in my bed in the middle of the night, uncomfortably twisting around like an idiot. It is only at the end of the video my finger accidentaly brushes the screen, and i realize that i can scroll around 360 degrees just by touching the screen.

Why was the sun still visible and round (albeit smaller) in the sky throughout the eclipse (even when tv screen showed full eclipse)?
your question is a bit general but if your talking bout what i think you are. its the way its captured on film / camera / tho telescope. some just record it differently but also bc the images are adjusted in different ways. for example a filter is on during partial but when totality hits camera doesn't capture corona right until the filter is removed and sometimes setting are changed
when I filmed it, my personal experience was that I could focus and see that were different perceptions. When my focus was close or near to me, it appeared as a ball of light. As I focused in on the eclipse, you could see the the diamond ring and the moon surrounded by light, it was the suns corona passing light through the atmosphere close to the moon. I did get some great snapshots, but the cameras all caught something different by their focus, alone. I pointed the camera at the eclipse, with no filters when it was 100% for around 2 minutes. No matter what, My shaky video was the best representation of the whole 2 minutes, because it was a dynamic thing. Even that did not catch what the human eye can see. That was amazing. The cameras kind of mumbled some of the details that it couldn't capture. I saw a moon with a deep red hue, on the edges, and black in the middle. I saw two edges where the red light seemed to be wrapping around the moon to show that it was a sphere. it showed its 3 dimensions. In stark contrast, it was encircled inside of a diamond ring that was brilliant. Beyond that, colors, beyond that., you could see other planets. I get why some people didn't find it very exciting, but the 100% zone, in a total eclipse is something I suggest for anyone.

Im sorry, I don't understand what You are disputing. I said a lot. I saw the eclipse with and without. On film and in person, because we had a 2 minute window. I didn't use a filter on the cameras.

If you observe closely, you can clearly see the glorious, divine pasta strands of the almighty Flying Spaghetti Monster as it pushes the sun behind the moon!
