    I love how how you took the time to go through the whole thing, without being overwhelming. Sometimes I feel like it's easier to do new things if we feel like someone friendly is going to stick by our side through the whole thing & not rush us.

    You explained how to begin your budget where everyone would understand what to do. Taking ones time and planning ones budget to ones own budget and not someones else wil certainly put you on a better track. Thank you so much. Your pleasant personality and calmness was greatly appreciated. You are a born teacher.

      @@MonetsMoney I do have to ask though, how do you feel safe carrying around this much cash and what do you do to be as safe as possible?

    • @MonetsMoney
      @MonetsMoney  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t carry a large amount of money around. The money within my binder stays in my home and I only carry around the few dollars within my wallet.

    This was the best and easiest break down video I’ve seen, I’m late to it, but I figure it out watching the first video of yours I’ve ever seen.
    What I thought right away before you even started splitting the expenses, was if it’s over $100, split it per paycheck, then as I watched that’s pretty much what you did. It’s just easier on the pockets, and helps reduce that living paycheck to paycheck feeling, I’ve never actually broke down my expenses like this, but I’m about to do it and see what else I can do to make my budgeting and expenses easier.

    So, you take out the cash for the payments and set it aside? Do you leave the remaining "leftover" money in your bank account? Or do you use that for cash stuffing envelopes? I have so many questions 🤣 And you are so much younger than me but I'm learning from you and I appreciate that! Literally sitting here with my paper and pen, following along with my own bills! ❤❤❤❤

    • @MonetsMoney
      @MonetsMoney  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes I take out cash for the payments and set them aside (except for large expenses like rent). As for the leftover I explain that you can use that money for your sinking funds, extra debt payments, or savings. So yes I use that cash for my envelopes.

    Monet, I am 54 and this will be my first genuine attempt at budgeting. I always think I can do it on my own, but then I lose my job or some unforeseen hardship takes place and I’m left nearly homeless. I made more last year than ever before, and have nothing to show for it. Never again! I want to learn and stick to my new found knowledge! Thanks for what you’re doing here to help me. I look forward to this new life of financial freedom. God help me, I can do this! 🥰🙏🏼 Edit: Hahahaaa I’m dying here looking at your numbers! My car alone is more than your rent! smfh

    Wow this was so perfect, and easy to understand. I do have a question though, how do we factor in another payment that also comes bi weekly but not the same weeks as payday?

    I love how explain everything. Could you explain if your rent is due on the first how are you paying it on the 9th. Is there a grace period/later fee.

    Thank you so much for this! I have a personal question. Do you make new sheets every 2-4 weeks? For me, my credit card bill fluctuates so that means my monthly amount will change as well. What would you suggest?

    • @MonetsMoney
      @MonetsMoney  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I budget by each month, so at the start of each month I will put my expected expenses. If your credit card bill fluctuates this gives you the opportunity to budget that amount differently each month.
      And the monthly budget will reflect how I budget by paycheck every 2 weeks. (If you are paid biweekly)
