Of course. Although some tutorials are well done, they aren’t really good to learn with imo. A lot of them teaches you how to make x, or y. But what I find alot more important to learn is not how to make x, but rather the thinking process behind everything. The stuff that makes your brain creak from thinking is the stuff that makes you learn properly. It’s why people who learn on the job, or language learners in a foreign country are so efficient at learning. They are forced to learn, and they make their brain work overtime with information that has to be processed. Following a step by step tutorial doesn’t hold a candle to it unfortunately.

This was very helpful, great to rewatch parts n such. I watch him on Twitch as well. Depending on the day can find him covering different parts of the whole character modeling, texturing, and rigging processes
I'm going to re-watch this more than I should because I want to eventually get better at blender. I think this video is great, it's informative to see the workflow someone that knows what they're doing. It is a little annoying how often I have to go frame by frame to see what you're doing though, but that's a nit-pick. ty for putting this out there, it's difficult to find such quality work.
This is far better than a tutorial - it shows how to actually work, rather than messing around with nonsense concepts like workflow or standardization.
This is a first for me. Most of the videos I've seen where models are made, they start from the face to the head and down. This is my first time seeing feet-up building.
What makes this video helpful is that you discuss your theory and thought process openly. While a regular tutorial might include steps to how to make something specific, that isn't very helpful considering you'll only know how to do that one thing instead of having the ability to make it yourself. This is a common issue with tutorials, and one I've seen a lot in programming.
