I loved hearing your thoughts on this book and I am glad that you continue to enjoy this author's works. I love it when you find a new author and you fall down the rabbit hole of reading as many of their novels, as you can get your hands on.
Your recent videos on Anne Proulx have motivated me to read her work. I’m starting with The Shipping News which I just picked up at my library’s book sale.
I have probably said this before, but you are very good at this! I have heard of, but not read this one, but I believe that is going to change in the near future as a result of your thoughts/presentation. Unrelated fact...I bought and taught myself accordion a few years back to be able to play for my elementary music kids...it is harder than one might think. And "Accordion Crimes" might be a perfect way to describe my performances! thanks as always, Micah!
Thank you for watching! Wow! That is so cool that you learned how to play the accordion! I am sure that is it very difficult, it sure seems like there has to be a lot going on at once to pull it off!
I've read all Annie Proulx's novels and short story collections. Her _Accordion Crimes_ is a novel, or rather a collection of novels, about the experience of certain immigrants and their descendants in the US. The accordion, which is the instrument of poor immigrants, is a literary device that connects their stories.

Thank you, Kelly! I couldn't agree more! I am loving just working my way through her list of works, it has been such a joy so far.

I have this on my Kindle, so am keen to get to it. I like your comparison to Steinbeck, I think that is so spot on. Go well Micah.
Thank you, Nathan! I hope you enjoy it when you read it.
