awww what my battle literally ended when the phase 2 intro was finished so I missed half of the battle but it still allowed me to proceed through the campaign lol
well in my case, this boss doesnt had chance to charge his shield, coz im cancell it XD. using burst according timing. every burst has time 10second, before reach 10second u should use burst 2, so is like burst 1 9second use, burst2 9 second use, burst 3 10 second, so u got total 28second burst bonus damage.
The boss shield never stood a chance against a Diesel with maxed candy. 900+ bullets baby! NO RELOADS, NO FUCKING RELOADS! Every time he tries to do something funny. I just go manual on Diesel and shoot the balls out of him, interrupts him every time. Same goes for the destructible missiles, I don't care if Diesel is midrange, the amount of bullets pumped will surely hit something eventually.
Real low key though; If you want to know how to play this game, watch this guy/you, with Rapi, and never underestimate her just because she is a given character at the beginning of the game. When you go into manual mode, it really does take skill, but when you power that chick up, she is fucking beast
Do sweeping shot peek outs then cover & reload with Rapi, full team cover while reloading, only for a couple seconds, full team de-cover, then jump out & sweep shot everything away. I may have mental problems.
