"Get ready little lady, Hell is coming to breakfast " Best line in the Best Western Ever, All hail Papa Clint 🤘
How can you pick the best line in this movie there are so many bangers.
@Robdog 1 You missed the BEST one:
"Dyin' ain't much of a livin', boy."
I grew up in North Vancouver BC and my dad had a store in Vancouver and Chief Dan George was a customer back in the 1960/1970"s he was such a great man. He was the heredity chief of the Salish Indian band of the whole Vancouver BC Area. Well liked by all. To hear him speak was just plain magical. Like all great men I wish they where still here.
@@valeriejohnston6574 what school did he speak at? Might have been mine to.
@@valeriejohnston6574 thanks, I was at North Van
I remember him speaking at Carson Graham Secondary 68 /69.
@@roberthowell7095 My sister went to Carson Graham , I went to Delbrook, I don't remember him coming to my school , he likely did, it was his home area too.
Further to my post. I believe he spoke at a school assembly in 1967, as it was Canada's 100th anniversary.
"One of the best westerns ever made".......you got that right!
Most definitely one of the best Westerns ever made. This one in tombstone
A long way from his days as Rowdy Yates, I’m so glad he made it! Not many people do.
I can't believe there's a better western than "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly." But this is it. Unforgiven is amazing as well. But this is still my number one.
Totally agree!!!
I can't decide between this, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, and High Plains Drifter.
My favorite Western bar none. Another really good one, a close second, is Hell or High Water, set in our modern-day era.

All Clint Eastwood movies... are great....mainly Westerns
Mr Eastwood is the last of a dying breed......men who could convincingly pull off characters that are SO larger than life while being SO life-like. The absolute, ULTIMATE cowboy bad-ass. A once-in-a-century actor.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. At the conclusion of the 3 way gunfight he does this chomp on his cigar, like "That's that". Subtle yet effective. He was/is the baddest of the bad.
Favorite movie of all time, not just westerns. Awesome
"Get ready----Hell is coming to breakfast" Best line ever!
+delavalmilker Eat hearty boys, because tonight we DINE IN HELL! -500
+delavalmilker I'm bringing the French Toast!
+JJDemon that's tooBad! ButIll pass! On that eating in hell! Shit! Boy! Not! My! Cup! Of tea! But! However! Your! Welcome! Too! ItAll!
nope best line in the movie was "Don't piss down my back and try to tell me it's raining."
jack stroud h
Best movie ever. One of the handful of movies I never get tired of watching.
"Not a hard man to track, he leaves dead men where ever he goes"!
geesuperb2 g
one of the many lines that will live forever
geesuperb2 Very good coment.

Just follow the vultures.
Still take time out to put that DVD in and chill with this movie. Classic.
Sondra Locke
One of my all time favorite movies. Couldn't even count how many times I have seen it. So many great sayings. My favorite: Dyin' ain't much of a livin' boy. Love this scene as I love every single other scene.
the fistfull movies had better music vur this had great acting and directing
One of the greatest movies ever made...
Awesome movie to watch back in 1976. I still frequently play the Josey Wales DVD and never get tired of it. Great 👍 lines!! The characters, good and bad, were so AUTHENTIC and DOWN TO EARTH.
One of the finest westerns ever made.
One of the best scenes from all of Eastwood's movies. It never gets old.
Many people don’t realize how incredible Chief Dan George was as an actor.
"Now you say them horses belong to these here pilgrims" says Josie after he's laid them out. The film is a classic.
Josey Wales is one of the best, if not the best, western ever made 👍🏻
So many great lines in this fantastic movie
"endeavor to persevere" man I loved this movie!
The very BEST gunsling’n westerns ever produced, ALL started Eastwood. Period.
This movie has everything! Action, humour, suspense and an ensemble cast of misfits who gel like nothing else! Easily the best Western ever made-with Shane a notable second ☺️
Yes shane much underated film.
Now he spit.... 😑
Clint's movies all featured misfits, (especially the spaghetti movies) best character actors in the business.
Just love this film...great story with great characters... my all time favourite ...never get tired of watching it...Clint at his best..
One of the many great movies with Clint , just love em.
Hanging the poster in my living room as I write this! Best Western Ever!
This is , by far , one of my all-time favorite movies by Clint Eastwood ! This is one of the best scenes in it too ! There were so many in it . The respect for the Indigenous people was , & still is , a rarity in "westerns" . But I think that line , delivered exquisitely by Chief Dan George , "Get ready little lady , Hell is coming to breakfast." is going to be coming true in the near future . That & , "A man's got to know his limitations" & "Buzzards & maggots got to eat too , same as people ." Hopefully this year ! 2022 !
Chief was my favourite character on this movie, just brilliant
he is by far the best cowboy ever
Not even close to the best. Maybe tied at three with Ben Johnson.
Oh please, can't you dunderheads understand this is a MOVIE. Clint Eastwood is an actor NOT a cowboy.
@@XJarhead360 I even loved the segment where he's filmed making the movie! It's got to be one of my favorite top 3 movies ever that I could watch over and over.
And...he's not a cowboy. Cowboys herd cows. He's an ex guerrilla fighter and an ex farmer.
This is one of the truly elite westerns.
Still my favorite western of all time, and easily in my top 3 movies in general of all time as well.
Another great Clint Eastwood flick...kudos to the writer who wrote the great classic lines....
Mohammed Cohen Best line in the book, should've been in movie... Granny: " That's a white flag. He's surrenderub'?"... Chief: "I don't know what he is figurin' on, but surrender ain't one of them."
"Hell is coming to breakfast." My all time favorite line in a movie. Reminds me of my ex.
Hahaha...😉
I like “Men are gonna die today, Sue, and I’m gonna kill ‘em” from Open Range.
the things men do for a piece of pie
"He should have armed himself before he decorated his saloon with my friend"
One of the best Clint Eastwood movies love it have seen it a hundred times never gets old. He's the greatest ❤️
THE American Western. The entire movie should be a TH-cam clip.
I’ll watch this every time it’s posted
Thank you
“Well you gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?”
😂
Best line in the movie...for that matter, one of his best of all time...
If they had whistled “Dixie”, they might have lived. Maybe.
Loved that show. One of the very best he made. "Jose Wales"
Still gives me the chills! So good.
Impossible to make movies like that nowadays one of the best westerns of all time
I love the camera angles of Clint shooting
This was the greatest Western ever made, hands down.
My oft quoted line from this film is: "Pay me when you see me Josie Wales". Granny is a sympathizer don't y'all know? Knowin' she'd never see him again...thanks granny!
"You know what I say...doodely squat." Grannies always have a way with words.
"You can pay me when you see me again Josie Wales" turning her back and walking away to be more precise .. :)
I like "Endeavor to persevere"
Think she said:"Mr". Josie Wales.
I always thought she'd get paid as soon as Fletcher brought Josie back from across the river. Maybe I interpreted Granny wrong because the guy on the raft seemed eager to get the troops across as soon as possible.
One man with a plan is worth more than a dozen men who don't know to do when it matters!
What a great movie!
Not even in my top five favorite Clint Eastwood movies but absolutely one of the best movies ever made and a total treat every time it comes on. Clint Eastwood was is and always will be the greatest man of American Cinema. His work with Sergio Leone was my favorite and the first few dirty Harry movies are incredible.
It's hard to pick my favorite Clint Eastwood movie, damn near impossible!!! This is right up there at the top of any list!!!
Okay now, just how badassed can a man get. Total balls of steel. He wasn't even breathing hard.
Best Western of All Time!!!
Clint really know how to make a western, he is up there with John Wayn
IMHO, I liked Clint E. better than John W. Clint seemed more authentic & John seemed too self aware, like he knew he was on camera.
Great clip from one of the best westerns ever made!
This came on last night and I knew it would be way past bedtime before it was done. I usually fall asleep as soon as I hit the recliner. I was up until 1 AM to watch this. Awesome movie.
“Pay me when you see me Josie Wales”...my fav line in that film.
Josse:"That's the way it seems to go, just when I start liking someone, they ain't around very long."
Chief: "Seems to me, when you start not liking someone, they ain't around very long, neither".
So many classic lines in this movie. One of my all time favorites. If I come across it while I'm channel surfing I have to stop and watch it.
well fook -i dpont like the outer space aliens
The person that wrote those lines is a class card.
Man i always thought the same thing. One of the best written films of all time
Chief Dan George is one of my favorite characters in this movie.
