    Thank you, Jeffrey. This video may just have been responsible for one of the most spiritual experiences I have ever had. After watching, I took it upon myself to stare at my own reflection for a while, to try to look a little deeper into myself. After a few minutes I felt quite disembodied, as though evaluating my whole being from a distance, and a little scared too maybe, but I was glad I had done it nonetheless. The next morning before work I plucked up the courage to take another brief but frank and honest look at myself. And then, as I was on my way out of the door, my iPad spontaneously began playing music on the other side of the room, a song called The Hitcher by The Gentle Good. I kid you not, it kicked in with the lyrics "there's something so familiar but also something new, like looking at a mirror, just to see a different view...". And I felt a presence in the room, a warm, positive and loving one, and was quite overcome with emotion. I must have cried most of the way to work that day. I don't think I will ever forget it.

      Rudolf Steiner or some other spiritual teacher was giving you a sign that day, my friend. The path and signs of spiritual attainment are open to all, and once one is ready they reveal themselves to him/her. One needs not to look for them, for they have always been there, but only invisible to the individual who is not yet worthy of receiving it. Once one is prepared and receptive for spiritual keys to wisdom and trustworthy to keep the secrets, they are revealed to him/her on their own. All the best.

    Years ago I was reading Steiner's "How to Know Higher Worlds" which I found quite impressive. When I got to the part about the guardians of the threshold I thought to myself, now the author has gone foo far, and put the book down. That night as I slept I had an extraordinary otherworldly experience (I can't even call it a dream). I wasn't in my body, I'll say that much. I then finished the book; read it several times; wrote an abridged version in fact.

      How wonderful! What a great story that illustrates what the book in part talks about. Thank you for sharing and I hope you are still looking deeper. Your experience and your willingness to share just a hint of what you experienced with the world has truly touched me. I think I needed that. Have a great day.

      Also called The Dweller on The Threshold. The greater meeting with the Dweller can be quite confronting in fact. After having had this experience at the age of 24 a lot of Eastern religious iconography made immediate sense to me. Kali who slays the demons; chops off their heads and drinks their blood is an example This describes that part of the experience in which the lower nature is destroyed. It can be a hellish confrontation. But it was an experience that awakened in me healing powers. I found it necessary to spend the next three years living in a strict Hindu temple practising Bhakti yoga afterward, and when I was done here I had awakened the healing shakti. Not for the faint-hearted, but a profound alchemical transformation . . . if you can get through to the other side.

    Dear Jeffrey, Thank you too. I have been an Anthroposophist for nearly all of my life but have been mostly indepedent. I had the good fortune to meet Carl Koenig, Hans van der Stok and Dr. Zeylmans when only 19 years old, at university and in a country in the beginning of political turmoil. I think you were talking about being truthful to yourself. Not easy. However apart from the immensity of Steiner's work, is his loving giving of himself and his knowledge to all. You should read (or listed to) his autobigraphy. The Goetheanum is incredible. I have only been there once but you walk in one person and walk out 'all put together'. The auditorium feels one unit with the stage but on the stage, you have this desire to give with your arms wide open. (I am an artist). Bless you.

    The world will be surprised to continue to realize just how Accurate Steiner was, even on topics that have been deemed myth, actually Judged rather than Ethically discerened, using the "Standards of Science and Research".
    He was fully genius and expanded in his interests, a subject I had a personal experience with, by no means to his level, but far more than my peers, whom seemed to be more focused than I was in singular subjects. It just sorta happens, and to a degree of a learnered level.
    The man amazes me with his variety of accomplishments.
    I admire his Management of his Human Lower Mind, aka Ego Mind, which is where we can fail to follow our Passions, or allow others to influence us through their opinions. What others think is none of our concern, our power is in our own Thoughts.

    I just came into contact with Rudolf Steiner and I am stoked!!! We can see how his vision is messianic because if we look around (and especially within us), the things he was talking about in relation to the future are actually the conditions and challenges of our times. This always happens when I meet works like his: although everything is immeasurably brilliant and creative, beyond my own abilities, it is as if I had thought and imagined it all myself.

    As someone who has read over 20 books and countless lectures by Rudolf Steiner over the past 20 years, this meeting with the Guardian of the Threshold comes about when one has developed clairvoyantly to the point of entry into the spiritual realm. Steiner is a proponent and advocate of reincarnation so this initial meeting with the Guardian is rather frightening because the Guardian appears hideous since it carries the scars of all the evil one has committed throughout each successive life on earth. The meeting serves as a warning to not enter this realm until one is aptly prepared because if thoughts can’t be controlled in the spiritual world it could cause harm either to the individual himself or others. Once a spiritual force is in motion it is almost impossible to reverse. When a person has reached the correct stage and preparation and has learned to control their thinking, feeling and willing through clairvoyance then the second meeting with the Guardian occurs. At the second meeting the Guardian appears beautiful or perhaps in an image of God, Jesus or Moses and the person is allowed to go further into the spiritual realm and continue their development.

    JMishlove ! These singular pieces you do are my favorite....and this was a great one. I wish you did more of these as I am sure other fans of yours do. There is a youtube channel called FreedomPhilosophy that deals exclusively with “The Philosophy of Freedom” the guy has studied it for 30 years, and would be a great interview. Aside from that much more of the things you know and consider is really what I want to know about. I recently remarked in an E-mail to someone that “You know a whole lot more than you let on”. Oh and one other thing...there is a guy Mitch Horowitz I think you should interview.

    Thank you so much Jeffrey! Can I ask a question? You said that "Steiner was more oriented towards the Western mystical tradition and that's when he broke away from Theosophy and set up the Anthroposophical movement". Why do I get a sense that Steiner was also quite "Eastern" or "Taoism" when he talked about the souls' awakening?

    Thankyou. I thoroughly enjoyed your talk. I am very interested in Steiner having taught over 10 years in Waldorf education. I'm not an anthropop but am developing an understanding of ancient Indian philosophy advaita Vedanta. However I find Ahriman interesting in technology advancements re: Transhumanism.. I guess the spiritual connection to AI super well-being intelligent being etc. Steiner warned about this and a big reason behind no technology in elementary Waldorf education. Any thoughts out there?

    • @josh2388
      @josh2388 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      While I’m relatively new to Steiner, it seems he’d recommend harnessing the tool of technology for good (similar to the eventual redemption of Lucifer by man). Regarding schools, Steiner said an abacus was unhealthy for kids under 7 - so that certainly leaves screens outta the question haha. Vaccines, on the other hand, definitely fall under Ahriman’s ultimate goal of killing spiritual connection.

    This seems obvious: Time mark 8:13: "2 steps towards ethics, before taking one step toward knowledge or power" is referring to the 2 "guardians" of the threshold, the lesser & greater guardians.

    People learning how to have conscious "Out of Body" experiences often initially confront some kind of monster or dark shadowy being, something that they fear. It has been said these scary beings are not something outside of themselves, but possibly a representation of their own shadow selves or dark side, coming from their own deepest darkest fears. When they decide to confront those fears, the scary being disappears.

    Glad I found your channel - really interesting - do you know of any studies or books that tackle the relationship between compassion and distance (picking up on the theme of taking on the world's pain). It seems to me that they are linked - eg - if someone a few miles away has a terrible accident, we feel a string sense of empathy (also for the relatives etc) - yet hundreds can die in a natural disaster on the other side of the world and, though we feel compassion, it somehow doesn't feel as present (at least to me anyway). I wonder if this is to do with some sort of quantum strength of field - the nearer one is to another human, the more powerful the link we have to them. Perhaps this is natures way of protecting us, as if we were to feel everyone's pain equally , no matter the distance, we'd surely all go mad!..or else, we'd all join together on a determined mission to make the world a beautiful place for everyone :).

    I came away from reading Steiner's 'Esoteric Cosmology' with the notion that alien abduction scenarios may be following this initiatory form. The beings seem altetnately monstrous or angelic, which may reflect the extetnalized aspect of our psyche that we must overcome or a part of our nature we must awaken. People seem to experience growth and increased awareness after psychologically working through the abduction process. Maybe the mass initiation effected by the abduction phenomena is a preparation for the next stage in our conscious evolution

      I really like that. This is something I'm going to be contemplating now.

    • @Paddyllfixit
      @Paddyllfixit 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Armando Solorzano, alien abduction is not a subjective experience. It is very real. Often leaving physical trace evidence behind which our primitive in comparison conventional physics cannot explain. Like the implants with unearthly isotopic ratios of the late great Dr Roger Leir, or the anomalous Peter Khoury hair, or the anomalous Bob White object . Or regarding abductions, the Thom & Matthew Reed case which even had a hearing in front of the United Nations it had so many puzzled. Or the Colares UFO flap which was so "real" the abductions were investigated by the Brazilian Military. I could go on, and on, and on, but it's definitely not angels and demons my friend. They're beings, in fact several different civilizations that are already here and have been for a very very long time. Here's one of the best latest examples,..... archivosovni2.blogspot.ie/

    Before stumbling onto a man reading Mr. Steiner's books and lectures on TH-cam, life was a gigantic puzzle with approximately 90% of the pieces missing!!
    Despite reading so much material in libraries prior to the internet era, as well as researching the internet and now TH-cam, I still felt as if that puzzle was void of all those pieces. It seemed clear that the bottom feeding controllers either didn't know anything concerning the epoch's before the romans, or they were 100% lying about the truth prior to that time.
    Whether or not the information written by Dr. Steiner is factual, is unknown to me. But it fits with the modern narrative given by the free loaders in their history books, and the actual physical evidence found on earth.
    Because of the internet, researchers feel they have uncovered so much new evidence by viewing pictures and maps and thoroughly examining so called historical facts, narratives, and statistics. I now believe the entire historical account we've been fed by the greedy, murder happy, controllers, could be all or mostly lies!!!!!!

    RS thought black people were distinguished by an "instinctual life", as opposed to Caucasians' "intellectual life".
    He believed each race had a geographical location where they should live - black people in Europe were "a nuisance".
    There was also a hierarchy in races; a soul with good karma could hope to be reincarnated into a race which is higher up in the hierarchy, Steiner argued. Lovely, just lovely.
