Kent & East Sussex Railway | May Bank Holiday Gala starring 1744 & 4247! - Monday 7th May 2012

My video from the Monday of the May Bank Holiday Steam Gala at the Kent and East Sussex Railway. This year's visitors were N2 no.1744 and 42XX no.4247. They joined home fleet USA Tank no.65 'Maunsell', Manning Wardle Class 0 no.14 'Charwelton', Peckett no.12 'Marcia', 16XX no.1638, Austerity no.23 'Holman F Stephens' and Terriers no.32670 'Bodiam' and 32678 'Knowle' on an intensive service of passenger and freight trains between Tenterden Town and Bodiam. Unfortunatly 4247 failed on Monday so was replaced by no.23 and Marcia also failed and was replaced on brake van rides at Tenterden by no.14.
For some reason there is no sounds on the clip of 1744 departing Northiam, it is on the clip when its played alone but my video editing software dosn't pick it up. It is no great loss as the road noise at the time contained a large lorry with its engine running!
