I just had to get the Silhouettes tarot. The artwork reminds me so much of the one they used in the Harry Potter movies to tell the story of the three brothers and the deathly hallows. I loved that!
Thanks for your honesty, after watching this I also cancelled my macabre tarot, and now really feel the need to go through my explosion of decks I have and see what I truly love and don’t, and know I need to be more conscious!
PNW is SUCH MAGIC I look forward to hearing your thoughts!! I've been using it as my "conversations with the land" deck and it's like.... whoa. Whoooaa. I love how connected it feels to sit my ass on the ground in this region and read with these cards.
Ughhh yeah sales really get me. I'm a sucker for them and know I'm a total sucker for them lol. Yet still. That sense of urgency, I need to decide now or might miss this great chance to try the deck out for a lower price!! Can be very difficult to stick to my guns. I have even bought stuff I had previously decided I didn't want.
I also changed my mind about buying the Seed and the Sickle oracle. Its gorgeous but I have three other botanical decks and alot of the plants overlap.
Love these anti-hauls! I just talked myself out of The Cirque Du Tarot. I love how dreamy the artwork looks, but ultimately I couldn't get past the court cards. I see what they were going for and even like how it shows the progression of the Page to the King... but the only difference between the suits are the outfits the figures wear. The poses and scenes are exactly the same across all the Kings, all the Queens, etc, and I just couldn't get past that. I read with elemental energies too. A King of Pentacles is very different from a King of Swords and just changing their outfits isn't enough to convey that for me.

Ophidia Rosa!!! I swear I go to the Leila and Olive site like every other week, and every time I am just like… this is gorgeous but I think it depends too much on the guidebook for me and the style of the guidebook would drive me up a wall.
I recently talked myself out of buying Orien's Animal Tarot. When I saw it I FLIPPED. It's GORGEOUS!! The art style, the colors, the animals!!! BUT, I saw a flip through and I could sense my enthusiasm go WAY down when I realized it's not a deck I would reach for for readings, because even though the cards are gorgeous, they don't really represent how I read the Tarot. It's so pretty I'm a little mad at myself LOL I may end up buying it in the future, but for now, I decided it's not something I would use
Watching Yule Ball , I placed Shinnering Veil in my cart.. but realized I have been down that road before and watched a full walk through and decided against it.. but it's easy to get caught up in the excitement that someone else has for the deck.

I was so close to backing the Points of You Oracle! I love the whole intention behind it. But… I held myself back. I’m hoping to see what it looks like when it comes out and then choose to pick it up or not.
I never owned either SKT decks and wasnt really interested until I saw the Revelation edition and even then put my pre-order off until September 30th! I'm extremely happy with this purchase. In April I backed the Sacred Bee Oracle and I ordered the original Wisdom of the Sacred Bee tarot. Im not so sure about this purchase but part of the reason I did back it was money from the purchase went to the Bee Conservancy! I have my own issues with the Fantome tarot and I desperately need a dog deck.😄
I have bought one deck in the last 6 months (The Japaridze Tarot). I don't envisage buying any decks at all next year - finally I'm FREE (of my tarot addiction). I'm over it. Someone told me that when you use Hebrew Angelic Magick that you lose your attachment to material things. And that has happened - diving into the occult has cured me of deck buying. Who'd have thought it. So, my anti haul is literally EVERYTHING. The RWS is the only deck I now use - I have over 120 decks to move on.
I recently talked myself out of the Northern Animal Tarot 2nd edition and the Terra Volatile Tarot. For Northern Animal, I already have the 1st edition. I love the changes to the 2nd but the creator mentioned there will be more editions in the future so I decided not to pick this one up. For Terra Volatile, I do really love the imagery, but I realized my SKT Revelation scratched that itch for the mythology and historical symbolism.
I'm using an auburn eyebrow pencil (currently Revlon, but switching to ELF cuz cruelty free).. and then go over it with a little Elf Wow Brow in Universal Taupe (which I think tones it down just a touch) ;)
Because of you I saw the wisdom of the crow tarot…dismissed it and then was haunted by it. So I’ve backed it because iI think it will fill a winter deck space…hopefully. On another note, your discussion of the sea glass tarot and the RWS with the holographic coating made me think, Lisa doth protest too much. It’s okay to let the RWS go because you don’t love it (As someone not in love with it)

I am the cat lady but I only have one cat deck cus the other ones don’t work for me - at least not now - it’s spirit cats for me! I am REALLY tempted by the Seed and Sickle but the lack of keywords is a problem because I am not well-versed in plants. I like the idea of herbalism and green witchery, but I have yet to really go anywhere with it. I could tell myself that the deck would encourage me to study the subject, but it would likely be a lie. I adore the concept, the art is beautiful, and I am glad it exists. Seed and Sickle is probably not for me at this time.
This has nothing to do with this video(which I loved as always!) but I would really love a video on how to read for others. People ask me to read for them but I suddenly don’t know what any of the cards mean! I get so flustered!

I'm still considering, but I'm watching deck flip throughs and I'm just not sure how much I'll reach for them instead of some other decks I already have. They're so tempting though. I'm just really trying to be mindful of what decks I'm bringing in.
If anyone is serious about having Runic Tarot, watch Nina's (Shuffle Tarot) review. She KNOWS her runes and mythology. The artist seems to know what he's doing, but it's certainly not reflected in the book (like Heaven & Earth).
I got the PNW because I grew up here and still live here, although a bit inland. I also think you are close enough to claim it. I might not have gotten it because I feel I have my animal decks. But I try to support local artists as well.
All the Oracles, I'm just not buying Oracles anymore unless there is something absolutely original and useful to me. I looked at Liminal Spirits for a minute, but knew it wasn't for me. I would've put Dream Vision tarot in a group with Mystic Mondays...and that Super Lux (kinda looks like True Black?) Marseilles deck, but I don't need any of them. Loved your reaction to it tho! And I so LOVE Crystal Unicorn..I use her every once in awhile, she always makes me smile, and that's good enough for me! Plus I did such a cool edging on it, I will never let mine go. I might still get Mystic Medleys tarot, but it's gonna be in part because I have NO liminal 11 decks, and that's the one that really sings to me. I think I can get over the problem you mentioned. And I will always love the Happy Tarot for no good reason at all, it reads great and is so positive! Bummer about Faunabelle, but I have to say, I could tell it wasn't really going to work as a reading deck...it just looks like a deck of beautiful art..that doesn't always work for me either...however, Tarot of the Divine, still a hard fave for me too. I just think it's so smart. I never got Reynard, because I love Oak Ash and Thorn...full stop. I thought I'd want the PNW Tarot, but I have TWU and Brady, and believe it or not, the Bottanical...so I just don't need it. I like to go to my local metaphysical store and buy a deck every once in awhile, and I bought Tarot Z, thinking it was right up my alley...shouldn't have done it. Ugh, I hated it, I tried to read with it, and just didn't like the style. Heaven and Earth Tarot and the Runic give me the same vibes...I just don't like the artstyle. I've always wanted the Ratty Runes...just haven't pulled the trigger, but that Bunny one is so cute. omg. I've always wanted Pearls of Wisdom too, keep hoping I'll run into it at a discounted price. I'm just really trying to be better about not buying every deck. Spirit Keepers is so good. I am loving doing the #dropm78 challenge with it. The challenge has really held my hand through reading the big BoM and spending a day with each card. I love it..and yeah...there's so much cool STUFF from our Bell. I am waiting on Tarot Avatara (should be here any day) And the Gentle Tarot pocket...and Crimson Asteria...and my kickstarter orders...well never say never, but I am definitely thinking about a no buy year. I always wanted the Ellis Tarot, and I had the Silouettes - I hated it. I didn't like the cardstock, the colors were okay, but not what I'd hoped...the deck is basically RWS but with puppets...Ellis is a way better deck. IMO. Is that enough words? Hope I didn't make your eyeballs pop out...these vids are so inspiring...as is your eye-shadow. I may go hot pink tomorrow.

the mass market version is really cheap , unfortunately the indie was too gorgeous and no longer available 😢

I love this series, I too had the faunabelle Tarot. I waited and waited for it. Realized it was not for me. It is on its way to the UK.
What cosmetics and or method do you use to do your eyebrows? I have a similar hair color and need help with coming up with a matching color eyebrow.
