I finished the Vrains dub this week and have been listening to this song a lot, despite it not being in the dub. As a sort of celebration I want to go over my experiences with Vrains and Firewall Dragon. It all started when I was young and the first starter and structure deck for Yusaku. I don’t remember buying them but I remember messing around with it a little with my brother. I knew I was not going to watch the show yet as I wanted to finish the other series(which I still have not 😭). Overall I did not do too much with it. But I did see one thing. I saw Firewall dragon continuously being recommended to me on the back of the mat. Skip ahead to two-three years ago, when I look at that mat and those cards again. I see firewall dragon and knew it was important to the main character, despite not seeing the show. I decided to buy a little box with some of the pack with firewall dragon on the cover. I knew there was a low chance of getting it but I still wanted to see what I would have gotten. I opened each one, and to my surprise I got it on the final pack. Words can not describe how getting it made me feel. That was the first and only time I got the card that was on the cover of a pack. I fell in love with the card. I think I watched a video on it a couple years before talking about it being banned but I DID NOT CARE, if it was banned. I would love it and cherish that card. I put it in a protective container and even changed my pfp to it for a while. However, despite my love not being affected it’s ban, I still felt sad. And still do. I am an overly compassionate person, and despite how silly it sounds I felt bad for the card. It was hyped up to be the main characters ace card, and that was taken away from it because of bad foresight from Konami. So I have always had it in my heart wishing it had more love. Fast forward to last year, when the Vrains was added to duel links. I was already playing it because of the Arc-V content, but now there was a new world to check out. And for a show I knew nothing about and wanted to wait to watch, the content really ignited my interest. So I decided to watch the first episode and see how I liked it. And that is when I got sucked it. I fell in love with the show. I love the plot and the message, and the designs where so cool. I love futuristic worlds and I was captivated. I bought so many cards for it, firstly with the new firewall dragon reprints and Accsses code talker, and now I have all of Yusaku’s cybersecurity cards, trickstars, Salamangreats, @Ignisters, and Gouki; with plans to get the rest. I know it is not the best use of money but I just love having the cards they used. And despite the shows rough edges I loved watching it. As I said before I am an overly compassionate person and the message really resonated with me. I am hopeful and have faith in humanity and even unity between humans and AI’s. The hopefulness and compassion of the show made me not feel alone in a world full of negativity. The final season did make me have a heart attack though. I went very far away from the message and the flaws where made a lot worse. I will be honest that I was sad and disappointed about all of that. But then I cheered up when I looked up the duel links lore. Not only is it heavily implied to be canon, but it also fixed some of the problems left in Season 3, showing the flaws I. AI’s simulations. And it made me think, duel links is what got me into the show and it is what helped me cheer up after the shows end. And honestly I am thankful I waited to get into the show until now, as not only did it rekindle my hope, but now I get to see how the store progresses now that it is still going. Along with that firewall dragon is finally getting some love. Neo tempest Terahertz came out, singularity come out next month, along with new support, and a new code talker that unites firewall dragon and code talkers. And firewall dragon has an animation in duel links. It has made me really happy! I know this is all really silly, and I know it might sound weird, but that has been my experience with Firewall dragon and Vrains. And as I get into video game development along with story telling, I hope to spread the hope this series has given me, along with this song. I know you did not make the song, but there is something about how you converted it to piano that has made it sound so much more pure. Thank you so much for making this video, thank you so much for reading this long rant, and thank you so much for filling this hyper fixated fan with hope. No words can describe how this video or VRAINS itself has helped me stay strong during one of the hardest periods of my life
Thanks for sharing your heartfelt thoughts. Don't be concerned about the length because it was very much well worth reading! I'm glad I was able to lend a helping hand. Feel free to use the downloadable MIDI file of my arrangement in the description if you're looking for potential songs to use in your game dev projects.
Once again revisiting my favorite song from VRAINS since I've switched to a better way to record for a cleaner, sharper audio. With all the "drums" in the left hand, a re-upload was a must. I think this time I've finally got the audio down. What do you think?
Majestic Star Dragon theme and Firewall Dragon theme are two of the best theme songs ever made for Yu-Gi-Oh.
Bro Ik you have a life and stuff but we need more of these masterpieces. Vrains, 5Ds, GX, Arc-V, Zexal, we need em all 😭😭
Welcome back and thanks very much! Expect to see more and more songs from past YGO series as I run out of VRAINS songs to cover.
Patrick Lee yayyy-

I love both this dragon and music.

When you still havent finished 5ds or Arc v or VRAINS but keep on rewatching Zexal because u watched that when u were 5 and nostalgia
He is limited now!

This seems more like Playmaker's theme than Firewall's, but that's a technicality I suppose
