Always a pleasure to see yourself making content and being healthy. It's a breath of fresh air to get those 1 on 1 coffee talks thousands of miles away. Refreshing enjoyable content as usual
Made by the Royal Camera Company aka Daiou Shashin Kōki (DSK) sometime between 1958 and 1960ish and based on the Royal 35P with a slower lens. Hanimex was a photo company started by Jack Hannes in the 1940s and the name was a shortened form of Hannes Import Export. Sold mostly in Australia and the UK/Europe. Hanimex distributed Fuji film in Australia. After a series of different owners, wound up owned by Fuji Film who discontinued using the brand name.
To be fair it is not a bad looking little camera and it certainly seems like it would have been pretty decent as holiday snap camera as its name suggests
Nice review of a rare piece, thank you. Love your videos and find them very helpful when trying out old film cameras.
Good looking 📸
