This one of the best introductory improvisation videos I’ve ever seen. This is outstanding.

This is so helpful. Mystery solved. By the way, your violin sounds beautiful. Can you tell me what kind it is? Thanks.

@@gordonquinlan6596 hi and thanks for your feedback :) this violin was made by a friend who works in a luthiers in the UK. I no longer use the violin as I moved abroad, but maybe he will sell it to you? I stopped using it as it has a non standard neck length and even my long fingers struggled to play 4th finger chords so I traded it for a standard neck length. If you've got long fingers it would be OK. I do, but I am female. Email me if you want me to arrange on theviolincoach@gmail.com

Super useful. There will be a part two?

Good question. I have been side tracked as I am in a rock band full time at the moment but I will get back to scheduling new videos soon

@@ursulakathryndonnelly good luck with the band. I’ll use your ideas for improvisation with a choir … crossing fingers.

Hi, i really liked your explanation! Could you tell me the name of the app that plays the chords?

Hey , I think I used iRealPro which you can programme to play any chords. It's a good one.
It was a long time ago
or maybe I just went in YT and searched "backing track 2 chords" or something
      Glad you liked the vid
