He was lucky at every stage the grand jury failed to indite him on the first case after he raped his girlfriend ..later he was awaiting trial he overheard two prisoners talking he informed on them and got a shorter sentence of 30 years and in prison he was so well behaved he got out in just 11yearsmmost likely because there wasnt any women to rape and murder but died 3 years after with cancer 😮

It sounds like shoddy and incompetent police work. I feel bad for Susan. Joseph was a real loser but he was like a cat with nine lives, but eventually his luck ran out. I feel bad for Michael. • @kyleshockley1573

From his perspective, not really. The cops already had the fix in on him; he was seen as a dirty biker in that town. If anything the cops should have done their due diligence to possibly exclude him from the suspect pool. Him giving them his defense would probably have worked the same as him not giving them anything - they would have likely just followed the prejudice both they and the town already had of him, and found ways to exclude or write off his alibi rather than him. If anything it would have made it more difficult for any future defense attorney of his because the cops would have already worked up their "theory" as to why his alibi wasn't valid. This is why anyone should ask for a lawyer before having a chat with cops. Don't give them anything unnecessarily out of your own mouth to be creative with ahead of time.

It's such an injustice: the ex-partner was at the center of the police tunnel vision (people tend to search for information that confirms that they are right, it's the wrong approach) during that time the beast was able to abuse a 16-year-old, and get away with it. After years and even more victims, he was finally detained just to be let go with only 11 years in prison. It's such an implausible story (he was after all a violent murderer and rap*st who reoffended multiple times and without money) that one wonders about his pact with the devil.

30 years and he only did 11 and no one says anything about it because it’s so common place. Certain people can kill and not do even half of the time they are sentenced to. It’s a common thing I’ve noticed watching these videos. Find me a video where a murderer actually pulled all of there time on any of these videos.

Your analysis is certainly informative! However, why was the murderer let go after only serving 11 years, and why was the grand jury ok with his rape of a 16 year old? And it shouldn't have taken very long to track Michael's whereabouts at the time of Susan's murder. He should have been exonerated once it was clear the finger and palm prints did not match! Three sad lives, at least 2 cut short, and the third constantly fearful of being arrested for a crime he did not commit. Once again it appears that Dr Grande should be in charge of training law enforcement recruits! And so much more! ❤
