For everyone wondering, the moon levitates by north and south pole magnets. You guys do know that it repels each other? Since the moon is 3d printed it is light but is strong enough to be close to the stand.

If you are looking for fidgeting toys that were not intended to be toys: There are some cable protectors ("cable chains") that are made out of plastic (used in larger machines like robots or laser cutting tables) they usually also have some small chains (~1cm wide) and promo stuff in unusual colors. You can loop those chains and it is very addictive moving them through your hand. I got mine from a "igus" promotion at our factory.
