Great video!! Thank you for always showing a great pic of your project!!! I skip thumbnails without pics of project!! Love your videos and creations!!!💖💖💖
That’s really pretty. I’ve had problems with yupo paper and mine is not as sturdy as the card you were using! After dramas and disappointments, I’ve decided to use straight ink not embossing powder on yupo paper. So I use Stayzon or alcohol inks that come in an ink pad for stamping. This might be a good tip for those who don’t have the patience and don’t want the heartbreak of trying to heat emboss. I tried using versa fine inks but they ended up SMEARED. I don’t know if they eventually dry but, again, to avoid heartache, I decided to opt for other less-smear-likely inks. A word of warning though: I bought some really pretty inks that worked in a cardmaking class I attended but I canNOT get that ink to work at home. When I use those inks, they act as a LIFT ink!!! So be wary. Stayzon works but I don’t think I have a white ink to do what you did. I like it though.
I also like the Graffix Craft plastic. It works very similar to Yupo but doesn't warp when heat embossing and it's cheaper than Yupo. I've also heard some people using poster board from Walmart or the dollar store with sucess.
@@TheStayC unfortunately in Australia we don’t have the dollar store or Walmart, so not an option! Poster board to us is like a porous thick cardboard ( chip board-for Americans) , so does it have a non porous glossy surface?
I am a huge fan of alcohol inks and saving money....thanks so much for doing this video! I also have not embossed on yupo but will definitely try it now!
Very interesting technique. Your final card is very pretty! Big fan of Altenew products, love their color combinations. Certainly takes the guesswork out of figuring out color families.
Great card. I always learn something from your videos. I’m interested in tips on how you decide where to arrange floral & greenery pieces. Glad to hear everyone is doing well.
Where did you get the blower tool and what is it called? I have the Tim Holtz one, but it seems large. I see one with gold on it on many Altanew videos but can’t find it on their website. Great video!
Loved the close up of the card. I am hoping you can help with some insight on the stamping platform Altenew showed at Creativation at the beginning of the year. I was thinking it should have been released by now
Kelly, the color is called lapis lazuli. The second word is pronounced: laz-you-lee. Laz has a soft ‘ah’ sound. As a follower of Messiah, you might be surprised to learn that it is mined in Israel. ❤️🇮🇱❤️
Your eye for layout is amazing. Keeping out those yellow flowers was exactly right!

So now I’m curious to see if I can successfully heat emboss on yupo lol.. lovely card💕
So pretty! Great video, with all your tips and demoing using Upo paper and heat embossing.
This card is sooooo beautiful. I need some Altenew alcohol ink!
I like graffix craft plastic for heat embossing with alcohol inks! Doesn’t warp! Love the card, soft delicate and pretty!

Awesome card! I have that background stamp and love it! YUPO is so hard to emboss on-thanks for the tips! Those inks are a great deal❤️
Very nice. Thank you.

I'm not sure because I haven't seen it. I know stamping platforms can be iffy with the patents so they may have decided not to release it.
Have you looked into the new stone papers on market. A bit expensive but wonder how heat embossing would work
I haven't. I'll have to look into them!
You’re amazing too!

And also mined in Afghanistan.
Very cool! Thank you!
❤❤❤
Well at least you CAN emboss on Yupo it just takes a while. Very beautiful card, but then all your cards are.
I am not patient. Totally melted the yupo the first and only time I tried embossing on it.
I melted mine too the first time!
Ouuuu
