I bet Chris Haueter is the kind of cool uncle who would slip you a beer when your folks weren't looking. Amazing coach, would love to train at one of his seminars.
Chris Haueter is like watching a master chef make the world's best steak with just salt and pepper and a fire. Before my next stripe or belt or anything, I want to have this stuff down.
Not true! ● The blind faith forced indoctrination religion of racist savages called EVOLUTION is a lie! ● Big Bang COSMOLOGY is a lie! ● Gravity is a lie! Do you mean the Bjj lessons?
Started BJJ here in Amsterdam at Carlson Gracie in June 2019. This video has helped me so much. That "deep as f*ck" collar grip gives people so much trouble. Haueter, one of the "dirty dozen" is a national treasure. Thank you Myra Fukuno for the upload .
@@veilofreality - yeah unfortunately the last seminar tickets I could find were from a past event in April of 2019. This bummed me out too. I'll have to keep looking for opportunities on another event.
Rickson is a very good Gracie Jiu-Jitsu teacher as well as a master of the style of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the fundamentals and Chris is extremely passionate about expressing his style of teaching the fundamentals I see.
Chris you are a brilliant master. The way you break it down is very easy to understand and it makes total sense every bit. I am totally loving these tutorials. Make online university for your stuff 🎓 🙏
Very interesting. Danaher wrote that taking back from closed guard is the ultimate goal (which opens other possibilities). Haueter makes you work to keep him down in closed guard to open options. What ever works for you :-)
Thanks so much for uploading this. I don't know if you remember but we all had sushi after training with Robert. It was the best of times in my life. Hope all is well.
@@lancegorman6043 I have a thing or two from when Robert cornered him, even back from the Team Quest days. Ask him if he'd like to have them, and if he does, to get in touch with me. Thanks. :)
I need a lil assistance with BJJ. I was watching the push and pull action and wondering if this was for competition or self-defense. Please let me know.
The fundamental skills look silly, but they are incredibly important especially in a pinch. He's trying to make all the movements people often forget second nature.
I believed so far that Haueter was Black Belt Directly under Rickson Gracie ; Now is clear why he does favor Top Position ,he was under Rigan Machado not Rickson !
I just started Jiu-Jitsu a month ago.. intense! I have 4 years previously martial art experience in Tae Kwon do with a Black Belt then but doe not compare to the intensity of Jiu Jitsu
Alot of good information. I do think that the teaching style suits the american crowd better than the Europeans. Its alot of screaming, and a continous effort in trying to entertain like a stand up show.
It was a very large venue. Open layout with a lot of other stuff going on in the gym, and there were a lot of people in the seminar. His voice was at a volume that was appropriate for the space and environment, which would probably not be nearly as effective otherwise. As for his sense of humor... well, that's just Chris. :)
He is interesting and you can learn alot from him, but I honestly feel like maybe the people at that seminar may have gotten a little burnt out from all of his yelling and profanity.
Unfortunately I don't Agree with Professor Haueter about Guard in Jiujitsu ; GJJ guys should pull guard @ any opportunity during sparring and should be encouraged to do so ,this is Butter and Bread in Jiujitsu against stronger and heavier opponent .
Chrissy clearly says to himself while smoking dope at home - How many people coming to me to learn BJJ can I offend and manipulate in my dojo in one preaching and teaching lesson.
Thanks so much for uploading this. I don't know if you remember but we all had sushi after training with Robert. It was the best of times in my life. Hope all is well.
As a Marine myself, I like his straight forward manner. Beautiful. OSS !

So many light bulb moments whilst watching this. Amazing. Thanks.
Thank you, Chris, for making this video available to everyone. You are a true Master master of your craft.
I could sit and watch this dude for fucking HOURS. I want him to be my life coach.

Thank you Myra for sharing and RIP Robert Follis. OSS!
I dont think ive seen a more entertaining professor than him. thanks for sharing
Everything he says is true...sometimes it’s easy to recognize a master.

Same. Will do my best to go to one asap.
@@jesuschristislord77733 his website doesn't seems to be updated..you got any idea where the info about future seminars is?

There is so much great information packed into this seminar, I almost feel guilty watching this for free. Found him after his podcast on "cleared hot"
This is pure gold.
It's amazing seminar..probably worth more than few months of ordinary training sessions if you are not a beginner
Thanks for posting :) , good quality!
Thank you, that was GOLD
I saw his DVD on sale so I guess it´s totally worth it.
Great stuff. Thanks for posting!

Dudes gotta be prior service. Feels like infantry to me. Definitely NCO or CO vibe. This man's part of the warrior family.

okey, im a fan now Chris!
Close your eyes, you will hear Al Pacino, teaching jiujitsu.
zero dislikes.... amazing
Great teacher
This is Gold!!! Would love to see him teach some no gi stuff
@ 14:22 - is that white belt in the blue gi Dog The Bounty Hunters Son? Leiland?
I can't think of his name right now, but I don't think so.
Love This guy
if you have worn your black belt for so long that it has turned almost white, you know how to perform those "white belt moves" like a black belt.
Literally better the next day after watching.
Great watch great communicating nice one

Does he know Kurt Osiander? That would be a good video.
Unless you’re the French!! 😂😂😂
genius
Dudes always teaching black belts how to be good white belts lol
Looking for tips on how to not get dizzy during some of these drills. I've read dizziness happens over 40, but he seems unaffected.
0:25 someone pissed him off real bad XD
hauter is a legend but id be upset if i paid for a seminar and they did animal walks and kneed to elbow escapes unless it was a beginner seminar
Martial Arts Henry Rollins
everything from this guy is old school including the joke and the language he use. of course it must be used with the off the roof confident.
Why does a bjj black belt need to curse.
I want him to train me.
Honor to finally see AJ's dad
Which AJ are you talking about
Oooo he didn’t stand up in base after the fish move. Tsk. Tsk.

I think everyone's just there to learn...
isnt disrespectful training punching Bag in the background while Chris Hauter teaching the class.
