Jefferson DeBlanc, Medal of Honor, WWII

In a single mission on January 31, 1943, Captain Jefferson DeBlanc shot down five enemy aircraft that were attacking an American force over the Solomon Islands. DeBlanc was awarded the Medal of Honor by President Truman on December 6, 1946.
