It's not racing. The top form of racing in the world allows NO contact what so ever. Why should people jumping be allowed to hit? Track is clearly wide enough since thousands of passes happen without contact. Hitters like Bam Bam just never become Stewarts!

Most of these passes were just guys going in and taking the front out with the rear wheel, that’s aggressive, but to me it isn’t too much. But when you’re doing like Friese did where he just dive bombed Craig with no intention of making a pass or even staying up himself, that’s way over the line. Could’ve very easily caused Craig to have a season ending injury or worse.
Some comments saying,”it’s is so unsportsmanlike for riders taking others out.” Hockey: I’m about the end this whole man’s career. Bulls in bull riding: Hold my beer. Boxing: I don’t think you know what you guys are talking about. The female junior high catholic students left unsupervised by their gym teacher on the non-competitive side playing floor hockey: Aight, time to break some ankles and bruise them shins and getting concussions.

Won of my races I had a guy bar to bar the whole time. We come down tearing the plastics off. He kept trying to take me out and finally we were coming around a fast corner and he came up inside me so I stuck my foot out and pushed his bike into the ground. His handle bars dug in and it flipped him up in the air in front of me flying like a helicopter. It was awesome! I thought it was fun but I believe he was pissed at the fact I beat him. I have had other take outs and some were costly but that one when I think about it brings a smile to my face.
Casey Stoner(MotoGP champ) had an interview talking about him being the nice guy and how that held him back alot especially against other greats like Rossi who was really aggressive. He eventually got with the program. To be a winner you have to be aggressive. Not dirty, but aggressive. You have to want it more than the guy in front of you. Dirty moves get you kicked off the track, aggressive moves get you on the podium.
Have you ever witnessed or watched motocross from the 60’s up to the 80’s? It was nasty back then but fun. A dirty ride was 2009 in Las Vegas against James Stewart by Chad Reed in the back section of the supercross track about mid was through the curve Reed tried to crash James out of the race. When you know your quicker & faster on a track then your competitor who is leading the championship, just go around the rider. Even if James had crashed I don’t believe he would have went backwards too far that would not hurt his championship win. Reed didn’t like the fact that James Stewart is & was a better racer.

As exciting as supercross is at the moment, 2010-2015 was such a great time for supercross i love seeing clips from then
Reed, stewart, villopoto, and dungey just brought a different energy to the racing. It’s kindof been dull since then. Except for this current season.
