    Question:
I am currently auditioning a pair of Mini Eclipse 7, and I must say, they really are an enjoyable listen! Have been using Van den Hul CS122, and that just doesn't cut it for my setup apparently - I have not been completely satisfied with the sound, has been somewhat fatiguing to listen to. Attaching the Mini Eclipse 7 almost completely took out all of the harshness I was experiencing in my system. Now to the question: My speakers are on-wall Dali Rubicon LCRs, and they are flush against the wall. They have a channel in the back that fits the cable but not the shells, they are too bulky. SO my question is, will removing them affect them sonically? Or, can I have them stripped further down when ordering, so that the red and black wire will be longer and thus have the shells assembled far enough down the cable, that they will be under the speaker and not behind it?
    Thanks in advance!

      Hi Adam,
We're happy to hear you're enjoying your Mini Eclipse. To answer your question, if you have the cable custom terminated with no shell, it will not affect the sonic quality of the cable. However, if you choose to keep the shell and have the legs lengthened instead, if its more than a couple inches it could affect the sound. We recommend keeping the legs as is, and removing the shell. If you'd like to remove the shell yourself, it's easy. Shoot us an email at service@wireworldcable.com and we'll send you instructions. Happy listening!

I wonder how big changes in sound would be if he did not use a tin / silver - only the same screw or clamp ?

Screw clamps over time would tarnish over time and could work lose, better to solder

How do you disassemble the NL2FX plug from the wire?

Horatio Bennett - you use a sledgehammer.

you would have to use a smaller cable like the Oasis or Equinox

Is here using Silver solder or tin lead solder

    • @Zulus22
      @Zulus22 7 ปีที่แล้ว

Do not tin-silver would not be better for the signal ?
      Methods are crimping without soldering

You must apply solder to the wire to ensure it adhere I HAVE WORKED ON A PRODUCTION LINE IN THIS CAPACITY.

Well that,s interesting every but I bet that manufacture,s of hifi amps don,t use silver solder it would be to expensive.

Now take a grinder and grind all that stuff on the
    Spades off (silver color)
Play 10 songs then sit down and listen.
    You see gold of spades
    Grind it off dog
