Finally got a chance to watch this one. Fabulous to see our old haunts from a new point of view. Showed us bits we’ve never seen. Great vid and cheers for the credit. Looking forward to following you as you cruise Dorset and beyond 😎👍🏻
Woohoo season 2 .. if you do as much and go as far as you did in season 1 this will be a crazy year. Loved the drone footage. Been waiting for that since seeing the pics on Instagram.
Haha I can't believe we even made it to Season 2! What a change in our lives. Thanks so much for watching, glad you liked that drone footage! It came out pretty awesome if I say so myself ☺️🤙🐼
We loved this episode as you were in our home town of Hsmpshire, UK. The places you show in this video just scratch the surface of what that area has to offer, shame we weren't there to take you around. Can I ask whst time of year were you there? Lovely video, thanks for sharing 😍⛵⚓
I live here. It’s a great part of the world and probably the best part of the UK. But it isn’t “like” a wildlife sanctuary…. It IS a wildlife sanctuary! And for historical purposes you were only 13 miles away from The Rufus Stone, marking the place were William ll died 922 years ago. And just up the river some 250 years ago large parts of the English Fleet were built.
Great video. Few questions, please. How did you fair the 50kt wind? Do you find the coast of England to be trashed with old fishing equipment and plastic bottles? Just wondering. Be safe and well.
Thanks for watching! ❤️ We were fine in the 50 knots of wind, besides little sleep, and the mooring held very well. The English coast has as much ocean trash as anywhere else we have sailed 🤷♀️
Beautifully shot. I always wanted to try drone footage, but I am too old. The editing and the restrained use of Drone Footage are excellent. BUT Sadly, The Montagu Estate have banned anchoring at the bottom of the Beaulieu River on spurious environmental grounds. So that segment of your anchorages needs to be avoided. It is a disgraceful and unneccesary restriction. The tides in that section of the river are so strong that there is nothing to protect on the river bottom. I have never seen anything but mud on my anchor when I have anchored there. AND I am pleased to say you did not find some of my favourite anchorages. If I told you where they are I would have to kill you! Despite that, a great and beautiful film Regarda Graham Rabbitts
Never too old for drone flying! It's simple and straight forward. They really do fly themselves. Sorry to hear about the Beaulieu, what a shame. Regardless it sure was a pretty place. And quite in the winter months! Shame we didn't get to try your secret spots! Haha oh well maybe next time 😜. Thanks so much for watching!!!
"Needless to say, it's nice place"😋🤓
Needles...I get it! Haha thanks for watching 😂
Drone footage of the Needles is simply gorgeous
It was definitely a breathtaking view and one of our favorite spots in the Solent! 😍
wow that is amazing!
Awe thanks buddy! 🥰🤙🐼
Sailed past the Needles last year on a Ketch with our Scout Troop, a fantastic trip, lovely to have this reminder. New subscriber :)
