Been a fan of B Sugar since way back and last week I got the Good As Dead cd delivered from the U.S to Sweden....Grady is my new religion...Good As Dead must easily be one of the best produced albums in modern time...such a live feeling and great sound....come back to Europe soon Grady !!!!
It never gets tired seeing Gordie live, ive seen him 15 times 3 with Grady 11 with big sugar and 1 alkaline show. Every time i stand in front of his stack and feel that guitar blowing thru my body and my ear drums on the verge of bursting and id do it again tomorrow if i could! this song is great , but then again i havent heard a song from Gordie i havent liked....
Saw him a few weeks ago in K-town, at the Merchant Tap House, was awesome, felt like he was in my basement playing for me and a bunch of Buddies! I was about 5 feet from the band listening to the pounding music for Grady, took a load of shots of Gordie, Big Ben and Nina!
Love these guys, saw them twice on this tour. I would say the world needs to see these guys, but then again, seeing them in a club in a small intimate setting is part of the appeal. Definitely one of the coolest bands that have come out in a long LONG time.
Awesome video for an awesome song :) I saw Grady a few months ago in Moncton, New Brunswick and they really put on a great show! I want to see them again!
This is amazing! The black and white suits it perfectly and I have to say that I love the contrast of Nina on drums then flitting about with an accordian like she was placed there right out of a Fellini film! Some really simple techniques enhance the minimalist approach. So creative; I could (and have!) watch this repeatedly! Again, just amazing.
If I Were King is one of my favourite songs on As Good As Dead and I'm very happy Gordie thought the song was worth a video...one that he directed no less. A fitting dedication for his good friend, Eric Tunney.
so simple and beautiful. Gordie is a genius and love Nina on the accordian! Can't wait to hear and see more from Grady. Last show I saw I was smiling like a fool the whole time. The show could've ended after the first song, it was so satisfying, but thank god it didn't :) Keep it up!!!
Another outstanding song from you guys. Can't wait to see you back in Austin soon and thanks for the heads up on the new video!! Just had to go order the new CD off your website. Rock on!!
Grrrrrrrreat job, guys!!! I love the song and how it gets increasingly heavy at the end! Love B&W video, too! My ears have recovered from your excellent show at The Legendary Red Rooster, Burlington, Ontario last Good Fri! Not only were my ears blasted but my hair and clothes were practically blown off from the voluminous vibes! Please come back to Burlington soooon!
Gordie - just a small production note. This wasn't near loud enough :-) You've been spoiling us these last few years with awesome loud, I hope this doesn't foreshadow some acoustic album or something :) Love this track - hope to keep hearing from you and the gang for years.
Gordie, you must have used a Canon D7 for this, regardless, awesome awesome, and think of the money you saved that you can spend on touring and giving us more wicked tunes!

I always come back to this song!
If I was king I'd have Grady come play for me. Awesome video. It's got a little gritty feel too it, just like Grady's music!
If You Were King, but you are King Gordie !!!!!!Great show in Edmonton at The Starlite Room,Cheerioooooooooo Deanoooooooooooo
Most excellent. The B&W gives that extra sense of deathly desert desolation with the moody tune.
I thought the tease was never going to end. Props to Gordy for taking Control and Creating the Vid.
We finally get a video to go along with this great peacefully agressive song!
Pure Grady.
Sweet video......just saw them live last weekend for the first time. Awesome show!

Now that's bad ass. Wicked Sweet.
Awesome! The black and white imagery and your silhouettes against the background are very striking! Can't wait to see you live sometime.
That guitar tone is just out of this world. It sounds like a Harley Davidson being ridden by King Kong all hyped up on Rock Roids!!
Awesome! Love the song, love the video!
Watching/listening to it on repeat.
Love the night shots!
LOVE this - video is very cool - looks like you guys had a fun day.

Nina and the thunderin' accordion seems different than when she pounds the drums, it's all good Grady style!
