I have to admit I have tried more than once to make these Russian Leaf earrings and I continually failed to get a finished earring I was proud to wear or give as a gift. After watching this tutorial, I am now so excited to give these another shot. You made it look so easy! I know now I can do this. Thank you Kara for your directions, very clear and understandable. I'm anxious to start the bracelet, too! Oh, and I always use my peyote starters since I LOVE anything peyote!

Kara, How are you stiffening your earrings, is the thread you are using super firm ? The earrings that I made have no rigidness, they are very floppy and droopy ?

Love these . Do you use anything to make the earring harder? I find that my Russian leaves get kinda wonky . Cant wait for the ones with the crystal inside !

I use a product called "Pledge Revive It Floor Gloss". Once I finish a project like earrings or a pendant that I want to be stiff I lightly coat it front and back with a make up brush I got at Walmart! Then I let it dry overnight. It works! One of the ladies in our beading group gave us this way of stiffening up our work and it does! Good luck!
