Maybe it’s just me, but I think customers should remove personal items (especially if there’s a lot in the car) before taking their cars to get detailed. Not that detailers would steal items but it just seems courteous to do!
I’ve heard that he asks featured customers to not take things out. Generally, I wholeheartedly agree! It’s rude, a waste of the detailer’s time, and can you imagine getting a grimy little bag back when you go to pick up your pristine car? Yuck.
i work at an auto detail shop and i agree 100%. its so annoying when customers leave their belongings inside their vehicles. by emptying their vehicles it helps me start my work faster

My first vehicle as a valet was an old Taurus wagon filled with trash and all the glass was yellow from cigarette smoke. I was a valet for 2 years and no car was ever worse than that one haha.

Ford absolutely knocked it out of the park with not only the colours, but the design of this generation of F-150, it's a very handsome vehicle. Would love it if you’d maybe make a short video, maybe on the second channel showing people how you dilute your various chemical down. I’m sure there’ve been some people wondering if they’ve gotten the ratio right for the different places they need to clean. I know your new chemical lines have the lines, but maybe for people that are using generic spray bottles it might be helpful to them…. I use my truck all summer for camping and road trips and it still looks like new inside & out. I simply clean it up right after the trip! It isn't too hard to throw a bucket of soap over it the day after you return & do a quick vacuum. It becomes hard to do when you let it get this bad. As always, great job!
Agree. Keeping it clean is easier than getting it clean. You may also see potential problems before they get out of hand. Take care of your things and they will last a good long time.

I have no solid argument against you and have never seen the aforementioned paintbrushes, but I'd expect $1 brushes to scratch or at the very least, not to a very good job cleaning the paint. In theory, a proper detailing brush would be a safer, more effective option that would last much longer than a $1 paintbrush. Again, this is a theory of mine. Perhaps you found some kind of magic brush and it works as good if not better than a professional brush, but I'm not sure.
I absolutely love the reveal shots at the end of the videos - you make every car look like a luxury vehicle, with more swagger and better glamor shots than some of those cars got in their official ads! I'd love to watch a collection of just reveal shots on your other channel. Take care, and may the algorithm favor you!

I realize the crevice tool has a small opening and creates good suction but upholstery attachments have fairly small openings and should have pretty good suction too, have you thought about using one of those it would probably save some time because thar crevice tool going back and forth on that carpet has to take forever.
I love the trick of applying the window cleaner on the cloth instead of the window directly. What a time saver and never a streak!!! OMG that truck is something to envy! Great job as usual. Kudos to you.

I just got my car detailed for the first time and I love the outcome. Only thing is then I had to take it to the shop and they got the drivers side dirty again. Like even the door has dirt on it again. It was nice while it lasted
I just purchased a 2018 Chevrolet equinox. The dealership decided to detail my entire car including the engine. When I picked it up yesterday, my climate control was completely out of whack. My heated seats kept turning on by themselves. When I turned them off, my air-conditioning shut off! Then when I turned on my rear defroster, the air conditioning shut off. Then my radio kept freezing up. I’m wondering if they did not properly cover up the wiring. It is now in the shop. The reason I mentioned this is because I was watching this very video and when you were under the hood, that made me wonder.
Last week I was watching another TH-cam detailer by the name Stauffer Garage and he asked on his video to comment in the comments of your top 3 detailers on TH-cam and more half mentioned The Detail Geek. I wasn't surprised by no means.
Best wheel and tire cleaner I’ve found and personally use is Purple Power. It’s insanely cheap I get it for 4:99 a gallon. Even works the best to clean Plasti dip. Spray it on with a pump sprayer. Let it eat at it abs spray it off. Workout touching or damaging the dip Not bashing detail geek or anything btw

Blue color is great! I enjoy the engine bay detail. I wait until the engine is completely cool and then spray clear, high temp engine paint on everything. It really shines and lasts longer than most dressings. Also would like to see the inner fenders detailed with some tire dressing or flat black spray paint.
what's your cleaning process for all your applicators, towels, etc? do you wash them separately? do you hand wash? how do you dry? do you have a separate washer for detailing?
In indonesia we use to clean the floor mats, seat cover, door trim, etc. like we washing cloths by hand. It soaked for several hours and then roughly brushed over and over. Till we know that the colour dissolve with water and become pale, thats what we call clean LOL
I would love to live in Canada, I need this man to clean my car, I cleaned a ton of stains and gunk out of my car, and I had coins basically glued into my cup holders, had to put boiling hot water and a strong degreaser and the still didn’t come out so I put WD40 and they came out and the scrubbing process was the worst but it got done but I have gunk around my E-brake and that steamer would make quick work of it, if I could get one I could clean it myself, but my carpets are stained up bad and he is just amazing at the job so I’d love to see his work first hand

instead of buying "detailing" brushes, I bought an assortment of 3 round tip paintbrushes for about $1 each and they work perfect
I noticed a difference in the two though, the paint brushes can be a bit scratchy depending on what you get. I bought carpro ones and they’re great.

My heated seats kept turning on by themselves. When I turned them off, my air-conditioning shut off! Then when I turned on my rear defroster, the air conditioning shut off. Then my radio kept freezing up. I’m wondering if they did not properly cover up the wiring. It is now in the shop. The reason I mentioned this is because I was watching this very video and when you were under the hood, that made me wonder.

Last week I was watching another TH-cam detailer by the name Stauffer Garage and he asked on his video to comment in the comments of your top 3 detailers on TH-cam and more half mentioned The Detail Geek. I wasn't surprised by no means.
Best wheel and tire cleaner I’ve found and personally use is Purple Power. It’s insanely cheap I get it for 4:99 a gallon. Even works the best to clean Plasti dip. Spray it on with a pump sprayer. Let it eat at it abs spray it off. Workout touching or damaging the dip

2 questions:
1. How long does it take you to clean cars like this. Can you get the whole process done on a day or does it take you a few days?
2. Please do a tutorial on how to remove the seats. The auto place I went to said not to take out the seats as the air bag might go off. How do you do it??
If you disconnect the battery first you’ll be fine. Seats are easy to remove. Just a few bolts and wire connectors to disconnect.

I will never understand the people who leave their vehicles full of stuff knowing they are taking it to be detailed, just can't wrap my head around it. But like always you did an amazing job!
Blue color is great! I enjoy the engine bay detail. I wait until the engine is completely cool and then spray clear, high temp engine paint on everything. It really shines and lasts longer than most dressings. Also would like to see the inner fenders detailed with some tire dressing or flat black spray paint.

In indonesia we use to clean the floor mats, seat cover, door trim, etc. like we washing cloths by hand. It soaked for several hours and then roughly brushed over and over. Till we know that the colour dissolve with water and become pale, thats what we call clean LOL
I would love to live in Canada, I need this man to clean my car, I cleaned a ton of stains and gunk out of my car, and I had coins basically glued into my cup holders, had to put boiling hot water and a strong degreaser and the still didn’t come out so I put WD40 and they came out and the scrubbing process was the worst but it got done but I have gunk around my E-brake and that steamer would make quick work of it, if I could get one I could clean it myself, but my carpets are stained up bad and he is just amazing at the job so I’d love to see his work first hand

Thank you for showing a proper deep cleaning of the engine, I've asked my husband to to this for my suburban and he replied"the vehicles these days are too computerized for that"...if I showed him your video his "feathers" would get ruffled(prideful)....so I "blame mike"(lol)....

Have you looked into dry ice blasting for doing engine bays, it's expensive as far as buying the equipment, but you can't argue with the results.
