Leno - I vow to call my first born son, Bernd- if you keep a clean sheet this weekend
Thank you in advance,
Dan
🤣😂🤣😭😭😭
Diabolical 😭😂😂
Bit of luck for them then
I think what Jorginho signing shows is how much players want to play for us. I'm sure he could've got a longer contract elsewhere but wants to be involved with us.
We should have a look at this Turkish guy orkun kökçü. He looks like Odegaard with his passing range. Fofana would be on my list to. Obviously a striker to.
Leno will become an Arsenal legend this weekend!! 👊
I hope so. I can see him making 10+ saves to keep a clean sheet. And then 1 late goal by Muniz to stuff shiteh 😆
I think he’ll throw one in
No, he won't. Regardless of the outcome.

Losing 4 points to Fulham, and expecting them to beat Man City is absolutely rubbish. Inferiority complex!!!!!!!!!!!
Another great video, cheers - you need a pop-guard though.
happy jorginho signed a year more makes sense,as for the game at united i'm positive united havent been this bad in ages so hopefully we brush them a side and keep on praying 🙏🏼 also hopefully edu and mikel make the right moves over the summer which im looking forward to,only a bit left for you to hit 100k charles you deserve it only place for arsenal news.
I'm watching from the Panhandle of North Idaho. It's my first cup of coffee, and I'm glad you're here each and every morning. (Even though it's mid-afternoon there.) We have a huge tournament here in our town all weekend, and all 6 grandchildren are playing. It will take every car and driver of every househould to touch all the bases. Wonderful craziness. Not to mention Man U
Thought the last comment/question was pretty interesting. I actually think not winning the league this season would bring out the right long term character out of this group of players. They'd go into each and every game knowing that you can't leave it to luck but you need to show up every game because the margins are so slim. Arteta too. Thought he got a bit too excited at times this season with some of his experiments and selections. It would be a bitter sweet experience.
agree. we weren't ready to win ucl, but could have started to seal the title against villa. hoping for a more pragmatic selection if we face similar in future.
Yep! Spot on.
I’m very glad Jorginho is staying.
He’s absolutely a positive influence.
Hi Charles, great content as usual! amazing news to keep Jorgi on as a very handy squad player for another year.
Over this season I've been keeping a bit of a closer eye on the youth teams and was wondering if there are any players that you think that we might see start to appear in and around the first team squad next season? Obviously Chido has been talked about a lot lately but is only 16 until november. The likes of Walters, Cozier-Duberry, Nwaneri, Miles-Skelly, Butler-Oyedeji and Kabia could potentially make cameos in the cup games at least. Also, have you seen much of Max Dowman breaking into the under 18's team at only 14 with 1 goal and 5 assists in 6 games? Seems like a potentially unbelievable talent.
Keep up the good work!
Lewis
Choose one.
Straight up. One choice. Should Partey depart this summer who are you signing?

The sound of your videos are really low. By the way thanks for the content.
Hi Charles 👋, I hope all is good 👋 👦 ☺️ 👍 😊 🙏. Good 👍 news about Jorginho signing a new contract for another season. I hope Jorginho stays fit and well and contributes to help Arsenal win 🏆 matches and trophies 🏆 God willing. Have a good day Charles 😂. Arsenal rocks 🏆 🙏 🤲 🪨 🎸 😀.
Let's win our remaining two games and hope that our own Hale end star Alex Iwobi can score the winner against City tomorrow!
Fulham have taken points off big teams this season.. against Arsenal, Spurs, and United.
They almost won at Anfield..scored 3 but were undone by 4 worldies (Mac Allister, Trent, Endo) which is rare in one game.
What I emphasize here is..if they play at their best level, and don't concede silly goals..then THEY CAN beat City.
For City.. It's a Saturday lunchtime kick off.. tricky away game in London.
City have dropped points against Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Palace..all London teams!
Hoping for a 3-2 victory for Fulham!
Fabianski a really Good shout .
Charles,
What a season! All of the players have improved(apart from Timber). The most interesting thing for me was when Jorgi was on the pitch you could see the whole team playing with less touches, playing a higher number of bounce balls. I would love to see him in a coaching capacity. his football IQ is so high I am sure that he could impart those gems. He really needs to infect our young players with his knowledge.
We look so good that I think we need to grow the squad and make better rotation.
My firm view is that Havertz is becoming the most complete player I have seen at Arsenal, his vision and his confidence was shot when he started the season, he is just beginning to see the passes and the shots. I can't imagine how good he will become if we keep faith and keep him playing up top. I wouldn't swap him for Haarland. There are some deficiencies in his technical game, whereas, Havertz... both feet, as vital defending and attacking, 150% work rate(he must run 9 miles a game, ) Great in the air, finds the right point to run into, run timing and I have never seen him sulk like a girlie.
Best option for 2nd goalkeeper is Diant Ramaj from Ajax, absolutely fantastic young keeper who could become #1 after Raya leaves, great with feet, passes, on the line and Reflexes are off the charts. He is The future #1 of the German national
Why would the future no. 1 German keeper want to come and sit on the bench?
@@NakulKrishna Money
@NakulKrishna Why is England's 'future No 1 keeper' leaving the club in the summer?
Hello Charles, with J20 signing for another year, I would love for us to sign a new CM. Given Partey's injury issues, we need a number 6 or 8 to play alongside Rice and Odegaard. Rice, new CM, Partey, and J20, plus a forward or winger!
Hi Charles great stuff has anything been mentioned about the futures of the loanees besides Ononkwo? KT, Tavares, Lokonga, Marquinhos (back in Jan 25) all set to return are they all destined to go out the door?
With the promotion of Como and knowing that Henry and Fabregas are deeply involved in their project, is it possible to loan them some of our fringe and/or young players to them? Greetings from Chihuahua, México!
Hi Charles, chuffed that Jorgi has signed for another year, great to have around and an excellent option from the bench to shore up things. The ManU game, can’t wait for this, all we’ve done lately is turn over adversaries / bogey venues etc and don’t see anything changing here. They will try again to catch us on the counter or kick us off the park.
Love that Zinchenko calls Rice ‘the horse’ because he never stops running! Same eleven, we go again. COYG!
Must be a common Ukrainian thing then, old Oleg was also nicknamed the horse for his endless running up and down the right flank.
Hi Charles, have you seen the news coming out of Germany (BILD) that psg are open to selling Xavi Simon’s for around £60m? If that is true, do you agree with me that edu/arteta should be throwing absolutely everything at it to get him in.
Under arteta he could be a world beater and a midfield three of him Xavi, odegaard and rice could dominate Europe for many many years.
Hey Charles
I‘m so nervous for sunday. I don‘t even know why, because United are so shite.
But we should go with the same eleven as the last two games.
My question for you: if timber is back, who would you drop from the bench? Imo it will be interesting to see, but I probably guess it will be Eddie.
How about Alphonso Davies as a left back? One of the few places we aren’t “sure”, plus massive pace and can play further up. Owen in Montreal (so of course, wishing that a Canadian could be on Arsenal 😂)
lets be realistic please.
Arsenal’s season went into the ditch when Arteta decided to not play Partey against Villa…THAT was the blip we were hoping City would give us and we failed to grab it. If Arteta resigns Jorginho over Partey (who last yr was justifiably was in the conversation as the best dm in the league) it will place a major question mark over his decision making for me.
Hi Charles, i think Eddie and Ramsdale are the two certainties to go this summer. I think ESR, Nelson, Partey, etc.. depends on the market. But i cant see how Eddie or Ramsdale are still on this team next season. I also think its time to sell Zinny. He is 3rd or 4th best left back option (i think 4th) and if he doesnt play much next year, he will be a year older, year left on his contract and a year where he played little football. Sell him and use the money somewhere else in the field.
Hey Charles, bit of a United question but do you think Gary O Driscoll will survive Jim Radcliffe's United overhaul this summer?
Amazing how many players get injured on his watch but can still see him ending up at another big club if does get the sack in the summer
Hey @Charles. Quick one, how do you feel about Saliba, Gabriel and Rodri not making it in the Player of the Year award nominations while Van Dijk does?
He's already spoken about it with James Benge on the Extra Time yesterday I think, about half way through if you want to listen :)
It's a shame my old 9 year olds handle on MrCloudyRainbow came back to haunt me with you mentioning my comment 😂 Had to fix that one quick.
But yeah from a player and manager perspective I can definitely see the desire to play that city game but the fans would well and truly not be up for it. If the shoe was on the other foot I'd feel the exact same way.
Jorginho, I'm glad we kept him not just as he is a different option to Partey, depending on who we are playing, but also his ability to improve other players off the pitch. He is sure to become a great coach/manager in due course, with what he learns from MA and his team.
Charles, love the daily content - please keep it up 🙏🏼 👏🏼.
Match day first XI no change for me, but if Tomiyasu is indeed out, that's Timber in the squad and who knows he might even start!? It's not something most people would think happen, but it'd be very Arteta like to throw a curve ball and I'd love to see it!
Re Jorginho...don't know what you think but surely with only a one year contract for Jorge and Partey also only a year left after this season on his contract, so both obviously being out of contract at the end of next season it surely is a hint that Partey will absolutely be sold this summer? It makes sense to me, although as we all know Partey is a fantastic footballer and his lack of reliability well documented he's on way too much money - 200k a week to be an Elneny replacement and barely make any match day squads. So, I just can't see him being here next season and with that said very excited to see who comes in to be the new star number 6.
Phill.
Stop the nonsense… Partey got a contract till June 2025. He’s determined to see out his contract and no one can push him out of the club, not even Arteta. Get that into your thick skull
@@paulmacpaul3389 Like I said he's out of contract end of next season (as will Jorginho).

Around Man Utd injury risks... I get that they might be tempted to throw people back in, but they've also got a cup final to think about
Honestly they could play their fully fit squad and we should still wipe the floor with them. Let them do what they will, they’re not winning against city or us.
@@NakulKrishna Are you going to Old Trafford tomorrow?
@charles
Last year at this point (perhaps even earlier), it was no secret that Declan Rice was Arsenal's primary summer transfer target.
Why do you think this year's primary summer target is not yet known?
A. Because they haven't decided yet?
Or
B. The source who leaked the news last summer has been silenced?
Maybe there is no primary target

I think steele isnt a bad option for us hes not number 1 at brighton hes great with his feet and Arsenal dont even concede many shots on goal so if he lacks in other areas they wouldn't be exposed as much as they would elsewhere especially considering Raya will play 95 percent of games
I read a quote from Teddy Sheringham saying he think Rice should be playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona. Depsite us playing well, is there a danger we could lose some of our stars over the next few years if we dont surpass City or win a major trophy? How long do you think we have with the likes of Rice, Saka, Odegaard, Saliba, Gabriel if the European giants come knocking?
Teddy Sheringham is an encrusted bell.
Arsenal are closing the gap but how do you surpass City if they spend twice as much as any other club on wages & have 2 world class players for every position?
Burnley can get a draw against City if they really want to. Spurs will likely NEED to beat City to ensure their Europa Leauge place, as Newcastle are chasing it and getting the wins. The Spurs v City match could just end up as a draw because Spurs need points. Fulham could try a low block to get a point, they are definitely up for the game anyway (ref Willian Tweet). Any of those would mean the title being decided on goal difference. I predicted before the season started that the title this season could very well be decided on goal difference, and it could.
Q. Who would you prefer for Arsenal Olise or Xavi Simons?
Eddie has to start
Q. Why is Arsenal not trying to sign Xavi Simons and I learnt he would go for just around €60m
With mbappe leaving no way psg will sell him, pretty they will try him for a season
Well, I expect Arsenal to win the premier league
Keep the faith Mr. Watts, City are losing to Spurs and drawing with Fulham
We only need ManC to draw one game and we win all our games by decent goal margins...i wouldnt put it past Spurs to play to lose but contrive a draw because ManC will expect to outscore them but struggle to get a goal on target for the Spurs keeper to 'accidently' go through his legs..we can only dream lol
Edu should figure out why we do have players like Cedric, nketiah, Nilsson, elneny if they don’t play enough.
I hear you’re a WWE fan Charles. Well Arsenal are football’s version of Cody Rhodes.
An up and coming player, once seen as a joke in the eyes of many (under Wenger and Emery), once undesirable, now (under Arteta) undeniable.
Going up against the tribal chief (Pep and City), the most dominant force anyone has seen in this game for years, possibly ever. Not to mention the whole bloodline (refs, 115 charges) in their back pocket.
Arsenal should’ve won it last year when we had the chance (wrestlemania 39), but they couldn’t get it done and people thought they wouldn’t get another opportunity. But we’re back again this year (wrestlemania 40), and we’re destined to end the reign and finish the story - with a little help from some legends in the main event (Iwobi, Willian & David Moyes).
Believe Charles! Cody finished his story, it’s time for Arsenal to finish theirs.
Jorhino's been ok but l cant forget the mistake he made against spurs which could actually cost us the league...am l being harsh?
What about the aston villa double of the 4 pts dropped to fulham
Gashford is out if form. Hes had his 6 good games for this season. Minitinez has been out way too long to be effective.
Arsenal should have signed a world-class defensive midfielder rather than extending Jorginho's contract. Same old story. You can't compete for big trophies with average players!!!!!!!!!
Didn’t know the transfer window was over? Or that you’re from the future?
@@NakulKrishna What would you expect when they extend the contract of rusty players rather than chasing hungry and physical players in the market.
Absolute rubbish. Don't follow the pro City mass media please. If City have 3 or 4 players for one position or players on high wages who don't play, nobody makes a fuss. But if that happens with Arsenal, people say this player or that should be sold or shouldn't be sold. It's BS. You need a squad of 18 or so top players to even challenge City not 11 or 12 good players who are good enough to start
one of the best buys jorgi, had he played against villa instead of the happless jesus we win the game and win the title. i know why hes called jesus as everytime i see him play and miss chance after chance i just say jesus why is he in the squad jesus why is he on the pitch jesus ow can he miss that. hopefully he gets sold asap with eddie and zinchenko
Fulham in their final home game, early game thats the best chance of them losing points. If they beat Fulham. I don't think they drop points in the last two games. Especially when they play against those losers
Jorgi against Liverpool was top draw..
One game?
@RichardStone-xk2px not just one game but this game he showed how good he is..
I must say I don’t completely understand the excessive enthusiasm for Jorginho…
I accept he must have a really significant impact off the field as that’s what I’ve read and I appreciate it’s importance
However on the pitch people (including yourself Charles) I feel have gone completely overboard…
He’s not played a lot of Premier League football (started 10 games) and was very good in 2, maybe 3 that I remember, okay in a few others and was average to poor in the rest…
At a point before Partey’s full return, a few people (who’d clearly lost their minds along with their memory!!) were comparing him to Partey and questioning whether to play Jorginho or PARTEY.…👀😳
I even saw someone on social media claim he was better than Partey!
SMH 🤦
Anyway now Partey is back reality and SANITY have hopefully returned to all!
Funny you mention Partey. A decent and fit Jorginho IS far better than a predictably injured or “recovering” Partey. We had our best run of games this season with Jorginho and Rice in mf. His experience is great and he’s as good as a coach, you underestimate his presence in the squad. Hopefully reality sets in for you when you realise this was hardly Partey’s last injury and he can never be relied upon.
We play as a unit and we wouldn’t have won those games if everyone wasn’t doing what Mikel demands of them. Has he been consistently great in every aspect? Not at all, but he’s more reliable than Partey by a long long shot. And Partey has barely had starts this season and when he played prior to 3 games ago he looked like he was a retired player playing a friendly. He’s played for less than 40% of his contract, spent more than 60% injured. Partey is a luxury, Jorginho is reliable.
@@NakulKrishna Partey’s injury this season has been a problem unlike last season when he played in 33 out of 38 EPL games.
So if your measure is ‘injuries’ then yes, Jorginho this year won it outright…🙂
However on basis of football, they don’t operate on the same planet!
Anyone that believes otherwise is likely suffering serious delusional problems…
In summary and in case you’re not aware, Jorginho has no legs or physicality and cannot provide the defensive shield Partey can. Partey is considerably more forward facing and transitional than Jorginho by a huge margin and produces 3 to 4 times the amount of progressive passes per game than Jorginho. Partey provides ball security and combines with and generates huge confidence in the players around him such that players like Rice and Odegaard can push forward and thereby play so much better than with Jorginho who they have to drop deep to provide defensive cover with as he’s not very good at it, to put it politely etc etc etc….i can go on as the list is long
Please go and check the Opta stats that a 60% fit Partey produced in 31 minutes vs Jorginho in 65 minutes against Man City….👀
I have it and suggest you go and view it yourself as it makes a complete nonsense of what you said in your post about a half fit Partey!
In summary a half fit Partey produced considerably better statistical outputs than Jorginho in half the time!! In some of the metrics, Partey produced DOUBLE the output in half the time…😊
That’s no surprise to a lot of us that actually watch Partey and know his true value…
There is NO COMPARISON with Jorginho as they’re not on the same footballing stratosphere.
Anyone who’s watched the massive difference Partey has made to our performance in the last few games and STILL believes that Jorginho is better than the so called ‘half fit Partey’ in every single measurable metric for a Midfielder, I suggest needs to visit an Optician as their first pot of call…
😂😂

Edu always wants to be in the public unlike other SP in the EPL or even Dein who was performing similar role with Arsene Wenger. He's been working to upstage Arteta in every situation. This is a guy who can't sell players and buys expensively
