When Johari's daughter teared up because she thought her dad wont be able to enter Msia, I felt like crying too. The relief was real when he replied that he would be able to take a bus at a later timing.
That's awesome they're reunited. I couldn't imagine how frustrating it would be knowing they're just like an hour flight away from their family. My cousin is going through this entire thing as well :/
a reunion long overdue. bless their hearts and hard work. not easy emotionally and mentally dealing with a long lockdown. hope that CNA can cover about reunion between Malaysian and Thailand families (when land border reopens, hopefully in March) both have been separated since the lockdown in 2020. they have very close ties to people in Southern Thailand, usually crossing the land borders to visit each other.
This video bring tears to my eyes. It has been two years for me too, not seeing my family. The plan is to fly back end of March 2022! Finger crossed everything goes well.
I feel how it was to live a part from your family during lockdown cuz right I live in Cambodia while my parents is in Thailand and I’m still 16, I really want to meet them fast but they were too busy with their business , while I also busy with my study but we still in contact with each other twice a week.
I'm curious about the filming process...did you guys already send your videographers ahead to film their families in Malaysia? Or do you have a team already in Malaysia?
You know what is more hurting? You leave almost near with your house but u can't go home. Gladly the restrictions are take off and people get to meet their love ones after almost 2 years don't get the chances 😢
So now Singapore government is governing Malaysia? Our dear Singaporeans is living very well that we bother about other nation reunion? So CNA going to do for reunion for every country folks that work in Singapore from the entire southeast asian nations to china, india, korea, japan, taiwan, pakistan, usa, etc. wa.. like that 100+ countries for each documentary? If not why Malaysia only? We govern them? Our Singaporeans well taken care of jia baba we can reach out to others? Are you going to invade Johor and give them a better life than the current boleh bolah Malaysia government? So we only accept economic refugees from Malaysia not Vietnam 30 years ago? While we have our own Singaporean born economic to be refugee by your policy that slash local born badly?
Touching and beautifully done. Thank you to all the Malaysians who work in Singapore.
it's so touching to see Malaysians that are working in Singapore being able to see their families again during this pandemic.
Yes big pharma mafia were satisfied for now

CNA always has the most heartwarming and touching documentaries. As a Malaysian in Malaysia, I look forward to all the documentaries.
Who's cutting onions... 😭
It's great to go home and be with loved ones. I missed Malaysia too as I usually will go there for vacations. So near and yet so far!
What a tearing video🥺🥺 glad that they are united with their family. It’s not easy, 2 years.
Blame pfizer
My heart sank when Johari couldn't board the bus the first time...
Wherever you are, family is so important! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰🥰🥰🥰 Home is where the heart is !
It is so heartwarming to see the malaysians reunited with their families. ❤
It just make me in tears..i feel them.. their hardship away from home is hard ..
Cried like a baby watching this, I’m hoping to get my reunion with my family in Indonesia and finally get my parents to meet my littlest one..

As always look forward to CNA documentary. WELL DONE !
You are not alone, same as a lot of people. Cannot send their parents last journey, the saddest part for this period.
actually in life is very difficult, you want to see how your children grown up but at the same time we all need money.
very touching. Hope the two governments treat an endemic as an endemic and remove all restrictions like the EU countries!
Very heartwarming. But to be honest, if you really want to see your family in another country, not even a pandemic can stop you.

Hi, I am Ainin from Mrsm TDI. Stay safe everyone..
This programme will have a deep reunion meaning when we look back after the borders are fully opened.
Hopefully, Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China can achieve quarantine-free travel. It has been 2 years since the pandemic.
