Awesome video. Loved the emphasis on trade-offs. Made me think of the “tank dilemma.” More armor, less speed. Less armor, more speed. Use of diagrams was very helpful. One thing I’d suggest: label hull designs ✌🏻

I'm gonna start sending my friends here who asks what type of hull to choose. Sweet explanation of boat types and what implications each type brings. Thanks for putting this here for us to find.

Nice tutorials!! Like the other comments asked... Any update on the rest of the series? Would be shame if it stopped here :(

Yes where is the potential speed video? Appreciate if you have the chance to upload it because lots of people could learn from it. Your videos have been very informative, thank you. I am curious about building a canoe with outrigger for speed.

"Which is faster? A narrow boat or a fast boat."
    🤔
I'm no boat scientist, but I'm gunna guess a fast boat.
    😁

Great insight! What bottom would you want in a lake that turns somewhat choppy with light swells?

why can't u combine the 4 main styles esp on smaller boats to get best of both 1 style right & 1 style left the same way the bow & middle section can b diff from aft. Again on a small lake type boat hving flat bottom is key but u get on 1 side of a horse.

Uh, keels on canoes are for different applications. Careful with your comments about hull design on any boat.

    Every tutorial is the same.
They never give to us main contribution about size or magerment.
