I really, really, really, want to emphasis that this method ONLY increases the # of chances at Ealad Skaan per window! It does not increase its bite rate! Lure does increase the chance of fish of the specific hookset to bite, but all of Long Mirror Lake is Precision hookset, so it's a uniform increase and thus non-impactful. The reason this works is because the reroll + grace period takes less time than re-setting up another cast (like the Lv.80 method) so you can just eek out a few extra casts overall. Think of this as like Slap and Chum method, with some bonus casts.

This is really cool! I find it really interesting how the lvl 100 abilities have changed how we approach older fish.
Is this also a good method for Cinder Surprise? If you go past 11 seconds with chum just reroll the fish?
I talked about that in my last video! th-cam.com/video/5z5WO-MfKTQ/w-d-xo.html
@FruitySnacks thanks! I'll check it out!
