"pretty cool" 🥶😁 I'm 55 and about to start this in 2 weeks. My son started in dairy/ff and moved to management. He says that my store has one of lowest turnover rates for employees in the region and probably the nation so I am in the best place to try it. Good luck guys

hey joshua , I had a question for your position in dairy. Did you have to submit a application for deli associate or what position was it called for you to be in dairy .
@@ArielEarthyorder I mean dairy is technically food and consumables. Still feels like a job to get paid more tho for sure. I worked dry grocery stocking and it was a far cry from how physically demanding this job can be with those milk and egg crates. I'm full of bruises and got bleeding cuticles everyday
@@destinydefaith9275 I get what you mean, I worked in dairy, on my first day I was sore in the legs and back, it was fun until two months in I started to feel like it was the most repetitive job on earth but what job isn’t.
Most employees are getting paid $15-$20/ hr to be on their cell phones!! Go into any walmart and observe the employees!! If I'm wrong you can say I'm wrong but I don't think so
Not hard, bro. If you're completely new to it, its just more about knowing where stuff is and where they go. Took me about 3 weeks to know where stuff goes and how things work. As for the physical part, for me, it's not that exhausting. Some days, it may depend on how fast things are being sold.

Wal-Mart’s philosophy: the harder an employee works, the shittier we’ll treat them by either giving them more work or micromanaging them for no reason
Me too. It’s a war out there, soldier.

Seems like a pretty “chill” job
It is
If u do returns and calls its different but I mostly do milk eggs water and claims
Fr
I just transferred from AP to Food and Consumables. It's definitely different
Worth it?
Def better than meat/produce except for water pallets but its cool
@@TH-camCommenter1sti work food / cons and it’s pretty cool if you wanna take 25-30000 steps in a day.. seriously my feet are dead
Isnt that position food and consumable?
Yes
Great video. Thanks
What would the position be called on the Walmart hiring center site? i cant see it even as a "future opening"
Food and consumables. You don't get to pick which sub-department they put you in. Just hope it's not the frozen food section. That freezer is COLD
All u do is stock but the worst part is sorting out the cooler when I worked meat produce bc they cant do shi at all but now im at dairy/frozen but I do dairy mostly😅
The job is cool working in that field
This job be chill for me i do the same at my Walmart
Is it a flexible position? Like some people will start 11-3pm or 5pm-10pm?
See I like dairy when I work in the box, cause I can just listen to music but I hate stocking the isle
For me stocking eggs water and milk is way better than doing normal stocking or meat produce or any other stocking job but returns is the worst tho

What does a Dairy Frozen Associate do in Walmart?

Dairy and frozen are complety different but one thing in common is they both share department areas and only refrigerated stuff
