Great video 👍👍 Definitely a Cool bike .. . Fingers crossed 🤞 on it breaking loose .. Stay safe and As always Sir thanks hanks for the ride along and Keep’em coming
I own the same year, color and model bike. The color is called chopper blue and they are nice bikes. They have a few issues common to the model. You will likely be able to eventually break the motor loose. You know the risk of running the bike and the rings being stuck in the lands and/or being destroyed running over a corroded cylinder. The bike will likely smoke either way. Consider putting some evaporust in the cylinders let it soak and use a tube to then suck the contaminated fluid out a few times. The stuff does an incredible job dissolving rust. Pulling it apart and hoping a hone will clean it up and not having to do a bore and new pistons gets expensive just in new rings and gaskets. Depending on the miles the bike is worth in the 7-8 K range if working well. A clean road glide is worth saving look forward to seeing what you decide to do.
Thanks for posting Michael. Wow that is becoming a bigger project quickly. Hope it breaks loose. I am not a bike guy. But what would have caused this to happen? Looking forward to the next episode of this cliff hanger. Cheers
HI as us mainers say you got a kettle of fish to fry like wow good luck so the old starter any good if so maybe you can get your money back on that but i hoping you good luck on fireing up.
I was wondering what happened too you, have not seen any videos on the backyard marine channel. Thought you may have become ill or worse glad I was wrong.

I soaked it in evaporust per your suggestion and check in on it every 12 hours for 4 days and it is still stuck. Thanks for watching

All is good on the Michael front, thanks for thoughts and for watching
I wonder if the original starter is ok?
Going by the story of my friends dad, it didn't have enough starter with a new battery to turn it over with the plugs in it, thanks for watching
Yeah. Thats every Harley dealer that I ever dealt with. Thats one of the reasons they are going under
They will be around in spite of themselves. Thanks for watching
