Opinion solli këtë të mërkurë një intervistë të rrallë me aktorin e famshëm shqiptar Nik Xhelilaj. Gazetari Blendi Fevziu e takoi aktorin në Stamboll, aty ku ai jeton prej 2012-s. Për Opinion, Xheliaj rrëfeu një histori tejet interesante, tregoi më shumë rreth punës së tij, por edhe për vendin ku jeton.

I am Albanian and I can summorise it. (Sorry for my English in advance)
He spoke how did you come in Istanbul. when he said a show-cast invited him very occasionaly. He knew a bit Turkish grammar, because he went to military school in Istanbul somewhen in 1997. But he espaced😊 from it and returned in Albania. He started his film carrier in Turkey with an artistic film, which made him to stay there permanently since 2012.
Sometimes he is between Berlin, Tirana, due to projects.
But an interesting thing which he get into the character better in Turkish films/series than in German ones, because similarities in mentality between Albanian people and Turkish people comparing with Albanian-German. His Turkish neighbors are warmer than German ones, which makes him to never leave that country. Later the journalist asked about what happen after he "gave up" his way to become an "asker" in military. He told after he came back to Albania, he contested in Law University where he couldn't admitted only for 2 scores. Later by a ad he saw somewhere he wanted to start a acting course. There were a director, which convinced him to start Acting studies in Beuatiful Arts University, because it goes well with the Nik's way of learning. Later there Piro Milkani (an Albanian director) took him for film project abroad (in Czhechia). That 's his first ever film who he acted and he believes that written his fate he would act only abroad. Nik dreamed about continuing studies in Prague, but the director insisted him to perfect himself firstly in his native language, bacause later it is easier for a foreign language project. So he ended his studies in Albania.
He took place in different projects: Gjallë, Shqiptari (Die Albaner) (the film which made it famous internationally) ,where a German director was directing
After that he went to Berlin. Nik explained there were asking for 10 most famous Europian talents, when Albania contested with him, because of criterias: the talent not older than 30, the film not older than 6 months, the actor must have at least an international award, but he already had 5.
That's what took Turkish directors attention, where he mastered this experience there.
Fevziu asked "how many hours do you work in a day?"
Xhelilaj responded they work 10-12 hours during series filming. It got improved recently because they used to work even 16 hours a day. Actors needs concentration, so being tired is a problem in acting, which requires actors to be fresh like they just started their shift.
Nik explained Fevziu that system how series are filmed has changed. Todays they are episodes shot just one episode after they aired that on TV. So there is a way for a scenery update based on what the public likes.
After that conversation about film industry, they commented the "Arvaunut Kaldrem" road, which had it history, because of it is built by Albanians hands. The series "Kayıp Şehir" was filmed in this roads (Nik ws actor there). They admired the view of Bosfor and how near Europe and Asia are from there.
He told about nightlife and bureks in Istanbul.
At the ending of video, they both went to a bakery and Nik presented local traditional foods of the city.

Po e rrallë se e nisi për ushtarak, pastaj donte për juridik, mirpo fati e solli në një karrierë më të mirë, si aktor. Sot ky është një aktor i famshëm jo vetëm në Shqipëri, Turqi apo Gjermani, por në tërë Europën.
