Is there an option in the settings to turn off the music? It’s only a 4-bar loop and I’m afraid it will drive me insane after a while. I ask because I’m 🤏 THIS close to buying one and that may be my monkey wrench.
I never heard of that saying about Monopoly before. I never compared Monopoly to Addams Family, but I do see some similarity with both games. I do compare Monopoly to Whirlwind since the layout of Monopoly is very similar to Whirlwind minus the spinning disk and some other changes. The reason there is a similarity of all three of these titles is that Pat Lawlor was the designer.
The only reason I was asking I'm possibly trading my DE Star Wars for Monopoly only because I want more rules and ramps and I would love to keep my Star Wars but I'm bored after 5 months. Its between monopoly or demolition man. What would choose.
I have owed three different Monopoly's. I like the game and It's one of the better Stern games, but it's nothing that keeps my interest for the super long haul. Demolition Man is the lost gem that no one paid any attention to back then. Finally, today the game is getting some attention. I loved this game when it came out. This game has excellent flow, four different Multi-Ball modes, tons of hidden features and it is so much fun to play this machine by using the handles. I got my Demo machine around 96. I still have that same machine in my personal collection today. It's still super fun and I have never gotten to the point where I wanted to trade it out for something else. I have owned the DE Star Wars back in the 90's. I did not like that machine when it first hit the arcades. I love most Data East games, but I though this one was a big disappointment and is totally overrated due to the theme. I liked the game more once I owned one, but it's just doesn't have the depth and it gets boring fast.
Thanks Doug I'll go with the Demoman. I did play that pinfest in Allentown and I was surprised it had a dozen ramps on it everywhere. And I'm getting my Firepower I know your a Firepower fan.Thing is i don't remember it being multi ball. But im getting one really cheap and i love it and flash.Im late in the game i just started last year and the prices are high but its an investment. That will hold its value. You must be around my age i was born in 68.But i love the early solid states. Thanks!
Firepower is my all-time favorite. First pinball I had to pay 50 cents to play. I was ten years old when that game came out. After 42 years of playing that one it's still a very exciting game to play. When guest come over to play my collection Firepower is always getting the most play. There were some EM games like Fireball and Nip it that had Multi-Ball but Firepower was the first Solid State Multi-Ball game to be released.
Love this table! A real challenge to master!
Me play at funworld
